This was a really cool shop, the donuts reminded me of things in Seattle, WA. The donuts are very hippyish. The plastic cups were really cool and t shirts. They have donut milkshakes too with a donut on top. The guy working there was really nice and friendly. When you walk in the smells are so yummy
Its so black, dark, and barren inside, we thought it was closed down. Patios were filthy. Needs a major cleanup. Donuts were interesting and quirky but atmosphere leaves alot to be desired.
Fun, fancy donuts with poor quality. These donuts look great, but they never taste good. Everytime I have gone the donuts are either overcooked or undercooked and raw in the middle. They are always so oily as if they were left sitting in the oil. The frosting is bland. For the price ($2.50 a single donut!) You would expect it to at least be cooked properly. Take your money elsewhere. You can get 6 good quality normal donuts for the price of one of these oily, overdecorated, gross donuts.
I love this place! The donuts are so cool and different, and borderline addictive! The prices are actually not bad, imo. You can get energy drinks, play Pac-Man, and/or just sit and chill. Enjoy the music they play, read, or get your treats to go in a fun sack. Its a relaxed atmosphere, with the craziest, yummiest donuts in town!
We drove 45 minutes out of our way to go this location, and there was not a soul to be seen! We have a 12 hour drive home, brought our niece to this one bc of the ambiance of the location and not a donut in the case, no lights on, not an employee to be seen! Thanks for adding a total of an hour and a half to our 12 hour drive back home to Indiana making it now a 13.5 hr. drive! I guess the only good thing was our niece was able to get a pic by the Wambulance. Thanks for not being open:-(
Amazing donuts! Great staff and just an awesome place to come in, sit down and chill for a bit. I ordered a birthday donut for my husband and it was just fantastic! Never really thought of a birthday donut as being something I would ever purchase but my husband asked for a maple-glazed donut for his birthday, probably jokingly, but I know he ended up loving it!! Thank you guys and gals at Hurts! 👍💕😁
Wow. This place is the real deal. There are way more options than I expected. The design is pretty impressive and it was a little overwhelming to choose. I went with the blueberry and the Fred Flintstone — both cake doughnuts. The blueberry was incredible! It was fresh and was just the right amount of glaze. The fruity pebbles one, as one would imagine was WAY sweet. Wouldn’t get that one again but worth the try.
A cute donut shop with an industrial vibe. I could see myself hanging out here if I were going to the nearby college. Parking is usually hard around here but the donuts are so worth it. They have uncommon donut flavors with some creative names. A favorite of the guys is the bacon donut! Prices are very reasonable: $1 - $1.50 for these large donuts. Its a family favorite and a definite recommend.
Sad to say I made my last visit to this location yesterday (Mother’s Day!). Very few options to choose from (maybe 6 options) and what we selected was HORRIBLE!!! We got 1/2 dozen and only 2 of the donuts were fresh! The other 4 were not edible and were thrown on the trash! I get the slow down in business due to the pandemic and it being the last week of classes, but if you can’t put out fresh donuts, At least throw out the 2-3 day old ones!
Yummy donuts! Wish that had a store in Jefferson county.
The donuts were dry and they didnt have any of the flavors we wanted. Drove an hr for these donuts because they were always good. Not this trip
We stopped today for some after dinner donuts, and were not disappointed. This is our 3rd Hurts location to visit (including the original in Missouri), and this location is right up there with the rest. Service was friendly and professional, facilities were clean and well maintained, donut selection was large and varied, and this location has an outdoor seating are with a wood burning fireplace! So cool. Well definitely stop here again next time were in town!
Overrated donuts for inflated prices. We drove nearly an hour to try these because wed heard a lot about them. I had the fruity pebbles donut and my wife had a chocolate/peanut butter donut. The two donuts I had tasted like a gas station cake donut stick with icing on top, except the gas station cake donuts are not quite as stale. The donuts were covered in chewy, stale fruity pebbles. My wife didnt care for her donut either, though I dont have her specifics- this is mainly just my thoughts. Cant say I recommend this place based on the three donuts we bought. The donuts are about on par, or just under par, with what youd buy from the Wal-Mart bakery section- but covered with eye-catching toppings and given fun names. The donuts, themselves, dont hold up. If you want a genuinely phenomenal donut, go to Guthrie and get some from Missys. They are worthy of their reputation, unlike the ones from Hurts Donut. The building also smelled like cigarettes and the roof was leaking in several spots, but I suppose it wouldnt be fair to hold that against them- people were smoking out front on the patio and the roof may be the landlords problem. The 2 star rating is just what the food deserves on its own.
Im upgrading my rating from its initial 2 stars because the donut was much better this time! I guess since its open 24 hours I got an old one last time. I have also noticed that the yeast donuts are much better than the cake donuts but thats just my opinion. Service was better and the bathrooms were cleaner this time.
Great place, crazy donuts but very good.
Great donuts very friendly staff a little high on price but worth ever bit of it. Right now they are looking for a baker theres quit yesterday
We went by at 10:15pm and it was already closed. The closing time posted is 11pm.
Very cool atmosphere. I bought 2 dozen donuts for my sons birthday party and everyone loved them! I brought him with me so he could pick what donuts he wanted for his party and the staff was very patient as he took his time deciding what exactly he wanted. The donuts were fresh and everyone was very happy with them. Well done Hurts Donut!
Worst place ever, their customer service really sucks!!
This so much out of the ordinary as far as a doughnut place and everything you can order is delicious!
Took my daughter in to get my daughter a donut. There were no other customers in sight and as we walked in we were rudely confronted about myself and daughter not having a mask . We tried to explain its a medical condition that restricts them from being able to breathe in the masks, she hatefully wanted to know what conditions. After telling her which we did not have to do she still hatefully continued on and my daughter left with no donuts due to the woman working who said her name was Felicia or Alicia - i will not be spending my time or money with this company in the future and do not recommend anyone else expose themselves to such hatred.
Try the donut shakes. I chose the smores vanilla shake paired with a Smores donut topped on top. However upon multiple visits the staff in the evening time are not friendly. I tried the apple pie shake & it had too much apples. You could barley drink it. The donut was a little dry. They are open 24 7. Its a college crowd.
A unique sort of donut bakery right in The hub of Campus Corner. These are more like sweet treats or desserts than breakfast but that stops no one from enjoying them. The maple bacon is by far the best but the other flavors are worthy of any self respecting sweet tooth. Great for a late night stop after making the rounds of the bars. The donuts are popular so sometimes selection is a little lacking. Everything is coated in candy, cereal or sugar but they dont pretend otherwise. Excellent staple of Norman eateries.
Hurts has a nice smaller town kind of feel to it, they always have a good selection, and I have received pleasant service every visit. Occasionally the donuts dont have the freshest texture, but Ive never known them to leave donuts out for too long.If youre a fan of, or just looking to try, a less popular donut, you may find yourself playing duck-duck-goose trying to land on the day the happen to have it *coughcoconutcreampie*. Their truck outside is fun too
Their classic donuts are not the best but their other donuts are amazing, like the mint andes, strawberry cheesecake, and blueberry struesel. If u buy a shirt and wear it to the store, u get a bogo deal.
Had these donuts been dough instead of the fried cake style, they would be amazing. They are super sweet and the dense cake makes it almost too much. PS the cinnamon roll was was one of the best Ive ever had.
Donuts always seem to taste a little stale. With the pricing they charge, I would expect fresh donuts. Definitely seems like they set them out for 24+ hours
Great place to eat some donuts!!!
I was a bit disappointed with these donuts! With the delicious looking selection they offer and the incredibly high prices, I was expecting it to be the best donut I have ever had. Unfortunately that was not the case the dough is way to heavy and they are ice cold... I will stick to my neighborhood donut shop from now on.
So UNIQUE. LOVE, YUM, HEAVEN!
Great creative selection but I thought they were way too heavy. If you like cake donuts though, youll love these.
Got two donuts, loved them both. They have Mello yello. The guy at the counter liked anime so thats awesome, he was really nice and polite. I had a good time, I was in the city for the state speech and debate competition and getting a donut made me feel better about not breaking finals, so its good comfort food.
Great Donuts great people!
The gluten-free donuts are to die for but $4.00 a piece.....HURTS the pocketbook. If they made the maple bacon.... gluten free..oh my gosh..Id be buying me some!!! The display case...omg...drool drool
A real treat worth finding! The size of donut, selection and taste will impress! The young gentleman behind the counter provided exceptional customer service and made my 1st time experience worth the effort and time to be a repeat patron. KUDOS
Great place for gourmet donuts. The designs are always amazing and they taste even better. The staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely the BEST donuts around!
Overpriced and while the novelty donuts are cute, they don’t taste good.
Always great. Great service
No matter how late you go, they always have a very good selection of wonderful donuts. Staff was great and very patient while our group took in all the selections. Awesome place!
Was discriminated against trying to buy my daughter a donut. The worker behind the counter was drunk or high and couldnt get the order strait.. she used improper language around my 7 year old i advise anyone that cares about their kids to go to another place ... her name was Felicia or alicia
Everyone should try Hurts donuts. Some of the best donuts Ive ever had. Light and airy, not greasy and amazingly flavorful! I cant pick a personal favorite because they are all so good and if you happen to get there right when they leave the fryer....oh my!
Nice shop, definitely worth a visit if youve only ever been to mom and pop donut places. Theyve got a much larger selection of cake donuts with flavor and visual twists. If youve got kids (or are kind of a kid yourself) definitely go. If you prefer simple donuts, or just want a cheap dozen stick with an independent style place. All that said the staff is really nice and theyre open all the time so you can get your fix whenever youd like. The donuts are an excellent size and like I mentioned above, different than most shops donuts. Give them a visit and see if theyre the place for you.
Best coffee and donuts in town.
Some of the best donuts Ive eaten
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I LOVE ALL of your products! My favorite is the GIANT Big as yo face cinnamon roll! EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!!
Who doesn’t love a good donut?!! Hurts is so special and unique that you can only find these speciality donuts here. The milkshakes are fabulous and the staff is always pretty helpful. I love the team spirit Hurts has for OU and is truly a class act. I highly recommend this location.
While I appreciate the fact that you make gluten free donuts, charging $52.00 a dozen is a bit over the top. Gluten free consumers beware!
The donuts were good, just didnt know we would spend over $13 for four donuts. Check the price first next time. :) There was no coffee available. I am sure this is a great place for the right age group. Thanks!
Great if you like designer donuts! Sweet as heck! Great service and open 24hrs! Just a bit over the top for me but i bet the college kids love it and i bet your kids would too! Go check them out!
Awesome awesome awesome Donuts. Different flavors different sizes different icing. It was just a smorgasbord of donuts. If you love donuts and want to try something new besides just a regular glazed donut, hurts donut is the place for you. We went there tonight and we loved it.
The best donut shop on campus at the University of Oklahoma!
Great donuts and great service.
I have to tell you, I literally detour 45 minutes out of my way to get these donuts every time were in OKC.They are kinda pricey but well worth it. There are so many varieties to choose from. Try the Oreo cheesecake and the apple cinnamon. They are my favorite. These are cake donuts so they are a little heavier. They are good for a few days after purchase.Parking can sometimes be a struggle in Norman. Make sure to pay the meter. Ive had to wait in line for a long time only once (the line was out the door)! We are usually in and out pretty quick. One of the best parts is their alternative decor. Go inside and check it out.
The donuts here are just okay, at best. Very dry, flies all inside the donut cases... We saw an employee blow his nose and not wash his hands. Weve given this place 3 chances and wont be returning. Well stick to Mustang Donuts or Kims Donuts in Newcastle. Always great service and fresh, delicious donuts every time.
The atmosphere is very neat. It is a unique experience, and one you must take in at least once! The donut names are hilarious. I appreciate that they are always open! I went there at 2 in the morning! I do think their donuts could be a little softer, but aside from my personal preference on that, it was a cool environment and a fun experience.
Omgish....Im in love ...everything that I tried was very good super fresh.I cant wait to go back. The guy working was very helpful and way cool...😍🍩😍
Been wanting to visit here for a couple years and finally made it.... 14 hours away but Sooooo worth it. Best donuts on the planet! When they ask which flavor you want, just say YES
The staff was very helpful. It is clean and the donut selection really has something for everyone. Only downside for me was no glutenfree options, so I lived vicariously through gluten eaters😉
Always a pleasure coming in, some of the best customer service around. I recommend the donut/shake combo YUM! Or the donuts...its all great
So yummy! Definitely a must-try!
Even though my husband and I moved to Norman a year ago we have never been to Hurts Donuts until I googled donut shops near me and I looked at the photos. We ran to pick out a few at 1:14 a.m.Hurts Donuts did have lots of yummy looking donuts...I picked out a Jesus donut and OMG it was the yummiest donut I have ever eaten. My husband got a apple fritter and it was very big and he said very good as well. The other one I got was carmel apple...it was good. My husband has not ate his other 2 but I would beat they will be just as yummy as the rest was!BASED ON A SCALE 1-10*TASTE 9*PRICE. 4
You need a sugar boost??? Holy moly... interesting donuts with some crazy styles and toppings for a donut. Maple bacon long john is pretty tasty! One donut will last ya awhile. For sure!
SO DELICIOUS so so so DELICIOUS! I could barely finish one but I couldnt stop eating either! The staff is phenomenal, prices are fair, the store is super clean and chill. And the selection! Man the selection is crazy, they have donuts you never knew you needed in your life lol
Absolutely stunning array of donuts... If you love donuts or sweets in general Vanessas well worth your time.
Heard a lot of good things about Hurts Donuts and for good reason. This was my first time here and it was great! The workers were nice and patient with me as I debated about which donuts to get. There were so many options to pick from it was kind of overwhelming. They also had a some options for drinks to have with your donuts. Definitely coming back!
The donuts here are creative, lots of fun, and pretty tasty, too. Definitely not your average donut shop. I only gave 4 stars because I like my donuts to be a little more basic.
Donuts here can either be great or super disappointing. About every third time I go, I get a stale donut that tastes like it was made the day before. Other times, they are fresh and incredible. These arent your typical donuts and the price reflects that. My favorite is the maple long john!
The best donuts. Good people too!
A fantastic hangout spot, and they make great donuts, the thing you need to watch out for though is the gate on the parking lot. After you put the coin in itll give you 10 seconds to get out, Im not sure if theres a sensor on the gate to keep it from closing on you, but there isnt one to keep it open. Its a common mistake to make, but its not worth taking a star off.
Awesome place! Awesome donuts, and great atmosphere.
Good prices!! Fast service!! Very friendly service!! Love how friendly the lady was to my son who couldnt decide on what he wanted. She was extremely helpful!!!!
Love stopping in at hurts when Im on campus. The donuts are super fun and so are the staff!! The cinnamon rolls are HUGE! The donuts are yummy if you love mockingly sweet donuts. Stop in and enjoy. You wont regret it!!
I decided to check this place out since Ive seen stuff about it. I happened to stop by when there was a street festival going on.The line was incredibly long, but I figured the wait would be worth it. I stood in line for about an hour. That was about the extent of the good. As I got closer to the front of the line I saw at least 3 employees standing around, only one was actually serving people. The others were talking and laughing to each other, occasionally when the only employee in the front working yelled out theyd hand him another tray of donuts.I got a dozen donuts and they were all awful. Very dry and none of them had much flavor. The chocolate didnt even taste like chocolate. We also all got stomach aches from just a few bites of a single donut.Their donuts look cool and would make a great centerpiece at a party. I dont recommend eating them though.
