Norman Shipley (Oklahoma Donut Co.)-just wanted to tell you guys how much we love and appreciate Shipley Donuts here in Norman. The pumpkin spice cake donuts are delicious. For those “pumpkin spice everything” folks….If you haven’t tried them, would highly recommend since they are in-season. Also, thank you for accommodating our special cappuccino blend on a daily basis (1/2 French Vanilla with 1/2 Light Roast Coffee). This signature customized brew has helped our family make it through the October 2020 Ice Storm, the February 2021 Freeze Out and the April 2021 Hail Storm. A warm cup of deliciousness that we can’t seem to do without. Good Donuts with a nice Variety..

Im very disappointed with what we got versus what is shown on the website. The apple fritter had NO apples and tasted like frying oil which means it wasnt hot enough. The old fashioned nut roll has NO nuts and without glaze has zero flavor. The butterfly cinnamon roll had no sprinkles; it was only identifiable because we knew what the other items were inside the box. The one saving grace was the kolache my daughter ordered. She said it was delicious. Unfortunately I cant recommend the donuts here.

First and last time I am going to Shipley’s. Threw it all in the bag with nothing separating any of my donuts so now my critters are covered in strawberry and chocolate icing. All so that we could save one single paper bag. I’d avoid this place and go to a local chain.

First time eating from here. The doughnuts and kolaches were really good. Ordered a salted caramel cold brew, not so good. It had an odd flavor. All in all I would go back. Just wont order that coffee again

Great but the ham and cheese kolaches (my favorite item since when I used to live in Corpus) were not too great it seems that maybe your not taught how to let the dough rise or maybe I got a bad batch but everything else was amazing.

I wish I could give HALF a STAR but 1 STAR will have to do. NEVER going back. I went to the location twice during the hours of operation on two separate times. Spoke to staff at the window could barley hear her and she rolled her eyes when I told her I cant hear her as she claimed they were CLOSED. BEST to go anywhere else for donuts.

Girl at the window on 10/22 had me smiling and laughing on a morning I was not wanting to. Would go back just for that.

If I could leave no stars I would have. Their only claim to fame is that they are open later than other donut places, but even with a variety of selections nobody in the family found anything they wanted to even finish

Fantastic service with smiles all around! Donuts were great. I had a strawberry, maple, and glazed one. Really top notch! Will absolutely be back. 5 out of 5!

Zero employees wearing masks. No barrier between the donuts & the public. Donuts were good, if not covered in spit particles & dust. I like seeing food service employees wearing masks now that its been the norm for so long.

I ordered through Uber Eats with them. I left a note asking for a Boston cream donut in their dozen grab box because my dog is in some pretty intense pain, and I’ve been upset about it (Boston creams are my comfort donut). Not only did they give me THREE Boston creams, but they also left a little treat for my puppy. Very sweet and considerate; I appreciated it a whole lot. 10/10 donuts and Kolaches, too; very yummy.

Holy cow I could taste the grease, I felt fat eating them. I barely finished my long john. Just not good, gonna stick to the Chinese donuts. Much better

I ordered a cappuccino and a hot chocolate, the cappuccino was only sugar drown into sugar, and the hot chocolate was brown water. Oh and I waited 1h and a half for it. 🙃Highly disappointed

So today was my first time ordering and I didnt know exactly what the donuts here were called and such. But, the lady who answered the phone was wonderful! She was patient in explaining what some of the differences were in creams and helping place my order! The donuts were also amazing and fresh! I would say with the friendly service and amazing donuts, best place to get one in town hands down! :)

Went by at 3:00 on a Thursday afternoon to pick up donuts since they were doing a fundraiser for our school. Sign on the door said they closed at 5:30, but the place was locked up with no explanation. Disappointed!

Took my friend to the drive thru and it was delicious. Not the greasy donut many are serving. They are made from potato flour so great for many who cant have wheat. Service was great also.

I ordered a vanilla iced coffee, cinnamon twist and a sausage and cheese, all was amazing, did not disappoint. Will definitely be back. I have to add, Ive been in four times and still good. For the people saying that 7-11 has better donuts- what a joke and complaining that the donuts are cold, 7-11 has cold donuts 😒 get over it

Love a new donut shop in town! First and only drawback though was in a Sunday morning the drive through was maxed out, people parked on that side had to be patient to find a gap to back out and get out the exit. People were considerate though. Also the drive through was slow. We ordered two of the sausage rolls one plain and one with jalapeños and cheese. Both very good and still hot when we got home. We ordered a dozen do-nut holes and they were very good! We also had a bear claw and an apple fritter. Both very good as well. Coffee selection seemed a bit short. So we didn’t bother, this being our first time there. All and all a good experience.

Best donut Ive had in norman. I didnt order a donut.I did order an Apple Fritter and coffee with cream and sugar.I got one grade A perfect 10 of a donut and black coffee no cream.I wish I got everything right but I dont either.

Apple Fritz were old and cold. Had no original kolaches, and when I went ahead to get them they packed 3 of them with ham instead of 6 jalapeno sausage and the cheese was like yellow water. What where they thinking, Church (Sunday morning) was about to get out.! It wasnt like Pearland, TX.

My kid ordered a long John and got half of one. My and daughters donuts where rock hard on bottom. Kolatchez were good but after a 15 to 20 minute what not worth it at all. Choose 7eleven donuts over Shipley any day

I ordered 2 dozen. She said they were all in one box taped shut. I opened it at work and only had 16.UPDATEI went back to see if I could get a refund. I was met with apologies and nothing but courtesy. They made it right. I will be coming here from now on.Super nice!

Donuts were delicious! I had the strawberry iced and a glazed donut, yum! I also tried the iced French Vanilla coffee, loved it. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel welcome. This is my go to place for donuts.

Stopped by and purchased a bear claw, old fashion cinnamon roll and a cup of coffee. The bear claw was nothing more than a old glazed donut, not what I remember as a bear claw. The old fashion cinnamon roll was tough, no cinnamon taste (0) with a few nuts. By far the worst donuts I have ever tried to eat. I would not recommend Shipley Do-Nuts.

First time to visit drive thru at this location and will be my last! Had to give it a 1 star because there wasn’t a 0 star! Pastry was burnt and fritter was really bad to thick I could have made better the blueberry cake donut was burnt and quality was bad tiny donut

Love Shipleys. Just the right amount of glaze on the donuts, and fantastic service. Understandably, their first day might be a little rocky, but I trust that it will only get better over time. My donuts and kolaches were incredible.

When I am in Dallas, or Houston, there is not discussion - we are stopping at Shipleys. The melt-in-your-mouth glazed are about the best thing ever! Get a dozen glazed (half are gone before leaving the store) and a dozen mixed to bring back to OK. After 2 trips to the location in Norman, all that sign does now when I pass by is make me wish I were in Texas. The glazed here are a sad substitute, the filled are a joke. Each of the filled I had took a few bites into before tasting any filling and overall I prefer the 7-11 doughnut selection... which is available after sundown (hint)

Terrible!!! I was excited to get some maple donuts. The maple glaze lacked maple flavor and the donuts tastes like they were frozen, thawed, iced, place on a rack uncovered for 2 days then served!! They were hard, dry and extremely dense.

Oh goodness😋 the kolaches here are amazing! I got the cheese w/ jalapeno omg good and also a chocolate cream filled donut and that was also a dream land flavor in my mouth🤤 I will be getting a few of those next time I go back

First time ordering from Shipley’s on doordash and they messed it up royally! I ordered a dozen donuts and kolaches only to get one chocolate donut. Tried it again, and they messed it up again. Don’t think we’ll be trying it a third time.

I dont know how theres any review less than five stars I just bit into the first donut from this place a chocolate, chocolate cream-filled and its the mostest donut ever.

3rd visit and AGAIN Do-nut holes are over cooked with majority of the glaze flaking off. 40+ minutes in a supposedly fast and convenient drive thru? Really only 6 cars in front of me. Thought everyone was ordering big orders.. Nope, wasnt the case. Finally, pulling up to the window to place my order. I was met with an older gentleman that didnt seem to happy to be there. I ordered 2 bags of holes, 1 kolache, and 1 donut. It took him forever to grap those few items and then return to ask for my payment. 40+ minutes made me late for work. Wont be returning . 3 strikes your out!

Kolaches were pretty great. I had the jalapeño and cheese. However, donuts were on a whole other level. They were greasy and chewy. Apple fritter was recommended but hardly any apples were in it.. watch out when you pull up to the shop.. the entrance and exit is very confusing and very narrow. My donuts were also smooshed!

I purchased a dozen donuts in the drive thru this morning. I asked for a mix but got only glazed. The clerk was less than friendly. I will not be back for a while.

Sadly the doughnuts were very doughy today. The glazes were spot on. Tried a cake one. But, our favorites are the raised kind. It was ok. Maybe because they just opened and they are in too much a hurry to get them ready. Will try again. We were so excited to have another doughnut shop in town that is open later.

Good Donuts...but the wait is ridiculous. Ive been two times and was in drive thru for atleast 40 minutes or longer each time. Once your in line your stuck due to lack of space.

Overall very dissapointing.Me and my wife went in hearing great things. It was busy and there was a line which seemed like a good sign. When we got up to the counter we started ordering. We ordered two French vanilla iced coffees, a sausage and cheese kolache, and various donuts. There werent some donuts up front that we asked about, and our cashier went in the back to check, which was nice. However, after we heard the total and paid, we took a closer look at the receipt because the total seemed a little high for what we ordered. Without asking, the cashier upsized our coffees to larges and the sausage and cheese kolache to the more expensive big-earl sausage and cheese kolache. We then asked about the kolache and she (the cashier) said it was a better product. So either a manager is telling them to upsize products without asking the customers, or the cashier thought she knew better then a paying customer and just decided to change our order and give us what she thought was best. We were also very unimpressed with the donuts. All the fillings (raspberry, lemon, and Bavarian cream) tasted like a generic bought from a store filling. Not in any way unique or homemade. The rest of the donuts (cinamon sugar and glazed) just seemed bland and generic. Also the French vanilla iced coffees were sickly sweet.I think Ill stick with donut king. Theyre also open 24/7.

Ordered donuts from here on DoorDash. My donuts were stale and I paid for filled ones and only got one filled one out of the dozen donuts. So disappointed and will never get donuts from here again.

Price is decent, but the donuts are not great. Very chewy and tough, and on the small side. We much prefer Hurts Donut on Campus Corner.
