Love, love, loved the beautiful wedding cake that Fancy Cakes & Confections made for me and my husband on our special day. It was a winter wedding and the color scheme was hues of blue. We chose to have a three tiered wedding cake with white buttercream frosting and the wedding cake flavor but asked for the batter to be dyed blue. It turned out so well; we got some great pictures of the cake cutting! They did such an amazing job. Not only was it beautiful but it was also delicious! Somehow it was even better than it was at the taste testing. So happy we chose them, and I hope you do too!

I ordered a cannabis themed birthday cake as a surprise for my husband from Fancy Cakes & Confections in Norman. Not only were they able to work with my 3 week deadline but the end results were so much better than I ever hoped for and the cake was delicious! This cake was PERFECT! It hit all the marks requested for my mermaid & Guinea Pig loving 5 year olds birthday. I was a tad nervous because years ago I ordered a cake from here & it was so cute, but it lacked in taste.But, I was running low on time before my daughters graduation. So I decided Id try one more time & cross my fingers. I cant even express how happy I am that I made that decision.This was the ABSOLUTE BEST cake I have had in a long time. It was decorated SO perfectly & the taste was EXACTLY how you would want a cake to taste. So soft & so moist with just the right amount of icing. Fantastic job Fancy Cakes!! They will be my first call every time from now on!!

This review is long overdue as I got my birthday cake from here last year 🤪 but I asked for an animal crossing cake and it came out so well! Show them pics of what you want, I’m sure they can do it! Oh and of course the cakes taste amazing.

Fancy Cakes was.... just okay. I had been anticipating my 18th birthday and submitted a design via email about a week in advance. Over the phone, it sounded like they had a good idea of what I had envisioned and we confirmed the order. Come a week later when my birthday arrives, I get a glimpse at my cake! And... it does not look like what I had drawn out- at all. It was of course, loaded with frosting as an obvious filler, but all I was asking for was some frosting around the rim of the cake (as shown in the draft below). We cut it open, and the flavor was what youd expect for a strawberries and creme cake, so Ill give them that (A+ for filling!), but the cake itself was borderline dry, I think competitors couldve done just as good if not better :/ .

Loved the cake I got for my sons birthday. It was exactly what I asked for and tasted great. I also was able to order 3-4 days out with no problem. Would definitely recommend and will use again!

We ordered a wedding cake, birthday cake, and cupcakes all for the same weekend before the pandemic,. Once pandemic hit, it was hard to connect, and my daughter managed to pick up the smaller cake and cupcakes, but when it came to the Wedding Cake I was told I only had so many days to reschedule for the event. Then the owner when on and on about how hard it was with the pandemic (which I understand, but also out of our control and just as hard for us). We were never offered a refund for the cake, my daughter tried over and over to get hold of someone anyone concerning the wedding cake but never could. So no cake and out the money as well.

Went in to get a picture printed for a cake. They were so friendly and helpful. Price was great to get picture for cake. Also lets talk about the smell of the shop...#Heaven

A little over a year ago, we had our wedding cake made from this amazing place. It was so delicious. I have never been a fan of fondant but wow! She made it taste AMAZING. Our cake was red, white and blue and just blew us away. The cupcakes were fantastic. We were extremely impressed.

My son is away at college and I wanted to have balloons and his favorite sweet treat delivered to him over 1000 miles away. I thought it was amazing that this bakery had the option to add balloons. It’s a must have for birthday’s in my family.The service at the time of placing the order was great. It was last minute (day before) but they had plenty of sweet treats including cake balls. I ordered 4 balloons, 6 cupcakes, 6 cookies, 6 cake balls and a birthday card. Delivery is where the order fell short. Not only did they call me 2 times instead of my son’s, they lacked any enthusiasm considering it was a Birthday delivery but they also forgot the BALLOONS!!! WHAT??? I raved about how excited I was that they had balloons. 😤I called and left a message as I’m sure I was charged for the balloons but no one returned my call. Very disappointing. I had high hopes. I have 3 more birthdays to celebrate in the upcoming month and I’m sad this didn’t workout.On another note - my son said the sweet treats were great!

We have purchased a gluten free white cake with chocolate butter cream icing a week ago and we were not happy with it. When we picked it up it was wrong it had white icing, the girl went to the back and I heard the lady kinda griping asking if it was right on the order and guess what it was... So I was told that they could scrape it off and re-ice it in 15-20 minutes. So once I returned to pick it up I didnt get an apology or anything. For $40+ I expected something, I then got home to the party and when we cut into the cake there was white icing under the chocolate and also white icing holding the layers of the cake together. The experience was not a good one for us. Fancy Cakes and Confections let me down let my wife down as we have a gluten allergy.

I ordered a cake for my son’s 1st bday through Fancy Cakes & Confections and am very happy with my order. I actually didn’t get to eat the cake until a week after I picked up the order but surprisingly the cake was still moist and fresh as if she had baked it that same day. I have definitely found my go-to company to go to for my cake and treat orders. Also, my son loved the cake!!

I filled out the form on the website to request the creation of a custom cake, and within an hour Deborah from Fancy Cakes & Confections emailed me back letting me know they could conquer the example cake I sent in. I called to finalize details, and everything was so smooth and easy! My cake was ready for pick up on the day and time they said it would be, and one of the bakers even walked it out to successfully help me put it in my car. I loved everyone I came in contact with & the cake was such a hit!!! Not only was it beautiful but it tasted AMAZING.

We requested gluten free cup cakes for our daughters December birthday. The decorating was exactly what my daughter asked for and the cupcakes were delicious. They were super patient with my numerous questions and very quick to respond during a very business holiday season.

The cake for our daughter’s 21st birthday was amazing. It’s was red velvet and absolutely beautiful. It was just what our daughter wanted. We will do business here again.

We got their strawberry lemon cupcake. It was really good! I would recommend. The cupcake was moist. It is one of the few places in oklahoma that offers vegan cupcakes to order. I did not order the vegan cupcakes. It is a plan for a friend, but the search has been very hard till I found them closer to home instead of driving out to OKC.

Got a cake made like Marvin the Martian and it was sub par. She didnt even roll the back together weIlI paid $200 for a cake that when i cut into it and tried a piece it was very very dry. I thought for this price i would get an exemplary cake. Only to realize i got jipped. I thought to myself this is pretty sad when i could have made a better cake myself. I will never get a cake from this place ever again. Also it was for my daughters baby shower and i requested the babies name and they forgot. One more thing if your gonna ask for someone for specifications so you can be exact make sure your going to be exact. RIDICULOUS

My family came in to visit my brother at OU on my mom’s birthday so I wanted to surprise her with a cake. We’re from out of state so I wasn’t familiar with the best place to get a cake in Norman but I think I found it! The cake was absolutely delicious and I would definitely recommend Fancy Cakes to anyone!

We had a mermaid science theme for my kiddos birthday and this cake was not only heckin adorable but also delicious. I know what youre thinking, ugh loom at all that fondant though, well shut up because this is fondant like youve never had. It was soft and sweet and delicious. Like I ate the entire mermaid tail like a lollipop delicious. Also got many comments on how non disgusting the fondant was. Vanilla cake and vanilla frosting, comment from mother in law that said it tasted like expensive wedding cake. Basically you need to get your cake from this shop because it will be awesome and delicious.

This bakery is amazing!! I had recently moved my daughter to Norman and was not going to be able to spend her 25th Birthday with her which is a Huge deal with me and my family. I reached out to Ms. Debra and explained the situation and she came thru for me with flying colors. Lauren is a HUGE BAMA fan and she even made me the cutest elephant out of fondant for the top for her “Sweet 16 Watch NCAA Party”. Lauren never expected a cake this year and she was so surprised. Thank you so much guys to the Fancy Cakes and Confections team and especially Ms Debra for making this special memory happen for Lauren. Would recommend & use again! We used Fancy Cakes to provide 2,500 custom printed sugar cookies for a company picnic. Not only did Debra keep in constant communication, the cookies were done on time and they tasted AMAZING! They had a perfect fluff to them & the logo looked great! All reasonably priced AND individually wrapped! Debra went above & beyond! Love this place!

Picked up treats for company office party and home party. They were amazing. The lemon bars were light and tangy, the chocolate covered strawberries were fresh and so pretty. Wont be doing business here. They are a delivery center for wish which means they put their business name behind wish. Tried to check the status of my package which says was delivered three weeks ago but was never notified. and said they couldnt check it. Told me to take it up with wish. if youre going to utilize a service from a third party you have to realize that your business will be held responsible if something goes wrong. Never received My package and still waiting on response from wish.

Absolutely value for money. Ive been on a super low carb diet for three and a half months, completely faithful. Ordered this cake for my Birthday so I could celebrate and take a break from the restrictions. Chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate buttercream frosting, chocolate shavings all over the top, the works. I cut myself a huge slab of this cake, it had to weigh like half a pound, took me like three tall glasses of milk to get all the way through. So delicious.Their service was also super great. I initially tried arranging things electronically, through email, through their website, that part didnt go so great, but I called them on the phone and they hooked me up with exactly what I wanted, phone call was less than five minutes and I was set. Easy as pie? No, easy as Cake. Delicious Cake. Just give them a call, best bet is to call right when they open, between the hours of 9 and 10AM seems to be your best chance for phonecalls. Great people, fast service, professional.I showed up on the date I requested the cake, they already had it in a box and ready to go, they let me get a look at it, taped the box closed, and I was off to the races. I paid in advance, so I wasnt even in the shop three minutes picking up my cake.Bottom line, you want a delicious cake, you care about how good your cake is? Call these folks. Dont email them so much, just call them. You will be full of cake sooner than you expect and it will be delightful.Like I said, Ill be a customer for life. Im gonna come knocking every time I need a cake from now on, thats how good this cake is. Thats how easy it was to work with them, thats how satisfied I am.

We ordered a Geode Cake for our wedding to fit our theme and it was amazing! The geode cake was extremely well made and we loved it! We also special ordered a cookie cake with a special design which turned out beautiful! The talent and artistry that went it to making these cakes was apparent!
