I would like to complement Blake. He is always very helpful and pleasant. He is a great asset to the store.
After searching a few places in the mall, S&SS had what we needed so, they get the stars!
Sun and Ski Sports in Norman ran a contest on their Instagram page for a free stickers. The post said the winners would be announced by 11/2 and its 11/4 and I have received no message about my stickers. I sent their page a direct message about when I could come pick up my stickers but they have given no response, even though it shows they read it. I have left 2 other comments on the post but still no response. I would just like my prize or at least a response about my winning. Very disappointed in what was once a decent store.
The employees here went above and beyond to get me everything I asked for. They are knowledgeable about their merchandise, and were able to explain the finer details of my purchase with ease. They even went out of their way to assist with an unforeseen adjustment issue! Simply amazing! Will definitely get all of my business.
Thank you so much for helping me out Avery.
John and his team are amazing!!! Highly recommend Sun and Ski...they are the complete package!!!
This place is awesome. Only place in Oklahoma youre gonna get Snow gear any time of the year and get really good customer service in a chain store.John and Savannah helped us out and they were both awesome.Prices are pretty much market prices, but they have a good selection of quality brands.
Great service very polite and had an awesome selection. Im going back again later this week to take advantage of the sale. Came across this store by accident but completely in love with it. They have everything
I recently visited from Seattle and needed a few items for a camping trip. I was welcomed and helped right away. Asiah was able to recommend the best equipment and brands to suit my needs. I left feeling confident about my trip! I’ll definitely return if I’m back in the area in the future. Thanks for all the help!
Wow!! Thanks Jeff for making our shopping experience for our ski trip so easy. your friendliness and your staffs help was Great!! Yo Brandon it was great talking to you, and sharing your expert knowledge. This is the most helpful place for your next ski trip. WE are loyal customers to this store.Keep up the Great work. Best Place in OKC.Thanks John
The staff here is always friendly and eager to help in any way they can. Every time we come into the store, they recognize us and greet us warmly. Reagan has helped me find clothes and shoes for my daughter several times in the past. He always helps us find the best deals and recommends items we might like. Love this store and will continue to shop here!
This is store is one of its kind for Oklahoma. There arent many places where you can go and get stuff for a trip to the mountains but also get things for going to the lake or beach. The staff is knowladgeable in their high end equipment and gear. The staff members are eager to help you with any questions one might have but also connect well with their customers as if they have known you for a while. Bottom line is that one needs to go in this store and experience the great customer service but also see the clothing and equipment this store has to offer.
They have top of the line products . High quality products are not cheap. They do have good sales.
Matt helped me get into the perfect skis for me. He was very knowledgeable and didnt pressure me at all. Go see Matt.
Nice selection. High end goods. Staff was very friendly. That said, prices are high. Or, maybe I am frugal.
This place is AWESOME. We had been eyeing a bike there for a while and stopped by to see it. Rob helped us out and we ended up getting the bike. honestly, everyone is so nice and knowledgeable and not pushy or snobby that by the time we hit the road we decided to go back and I bought a bike for me from them. Rob even delivered the bikes because it was on his way home! People this nice that really care about what they are working with are rare - I will keep going back. Also their hours are fantastic and they have pretty great prices.
Very disappointed theyre doing away with their bike department. These guys are hands down the most helpful, knowledgeable and bmx-friendly bike guys in town. They set the bar pretty high for what you should expect in terms of customer service.
They have nice items however employees rarely acknowledge you.
First time here. Looks like the selection is pretty good. The prices are a bit high though. Well see if they can keep up when REI hits OKC.
It is one of my favorite stores, there just arent any locations close to Yukon😞
Walked through store. It was nice.
Sun & Ski in Norman has a friendly, help staff and a huge selection of outdoor gear - no matter what the activity is. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. Highly recommend!
Wonderful experience! Got a great deal on my ski boots and Reagan was very helpful!
This is a great store and the staff is super friendly and helpful. This is the only place I go for my outdoor gear and they usually have some good sales going!
Great selection of Northface and other name brands but expect to pay full retail price
Love this store! I bought 2 nice nice bikes here back in the day!
This is a great store with great employees. Very clean and well kept up with.
Friendliest staff ever! Honestly made the shopping experience so much better than it normally is, love this place!
Oh my gosh great clothes and the customer service was great!!!
Place has some of worst service in the mall. Was standing around looking for some shoes. Never greeted once. Mean while employees (5) were hangout at the front counter watching Snapchat videos (yeah Im sure, because they were commenting on how sick they were). Im getting their attention and I get some mediocre help at best because hell, he probably is never gonna get to see the next few videos with his buddies. While I waited for him, I was looking around and saw not a camera in sight and thought, if I owned this place I would get some cameras and monkeys because they could do a better job than the kids I have right now. Place maybe the easiest to shop lift in the entire mall if you were into that thing.Moral of the story: probably wont be back anytime soon. Well at least until summer or winter when there should be a turn over of employees.
Reagan is amazing each and every time we visit the store! Sun & Ski is the go to place for shopping for my teenager!
The staff forgot my order and didnt send the shoes until I called them about the delay. Inconvenient, however they are good quality.
Good selection of casual clothes and shoes, helpful staff.
I love this store they great quality stuff
THE QUEST OF THE SILVER CHACOS aka THE MESSIAHS OF CUSTOMER SERVICEBy Sir DuffyCHAPTER ONE: BeginningsLong ago, in the Mystical Land of Consumerism, there lived many people in harmony with the greater forces of nature: the salesfairies, the managelder. Chief among these was the SPIRIT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, who flourished in the era of mail catalogues and department stores. Then came a new force - the Internet god. We all thought he was good, noble, and benevolent, and at times he is. However that omnipotent bastard is straight bipolar. Soon at side were the Harpies of Credit Info and the Slug Riders of Shippingdale, whose battle cry was Its in Processing!. Most horrible, at the helm was the Army of Infinite Trolls each armed with Spears of Ubiquitous Criticism and Shields of Scathing Sarcasm. It seemed all hope was lost.CHAPTER 2: EscapeChoked by pop-up thistles and drowning in cursed mailings, I felt in need of escape. I curtailed my Master Craig enlistment, and found Righteous Employ in the Dark Continent of Africa. Restoration Gateway it was called, and I was doing Gods holy work. I lived there for what seemed like a lifetime, away from the Land of Consumerism and its evils. I relaxed my wherewithal and assimilated into the culture to the point that I de-shod myself from my Tevaan footwear and relinquished them to a child in need. With this act, I knew my time there was at an end. I had reached fulfillment in the Gospel, ran out of money, and didnt want become a pretentious hipster. So I reluctantly returned to the land of Consumerism.CHAPTER 3: The SearchI awoke in a chill of terror. My selfless act of surrendering my shoes had left me barefoot and crippled, no longer able to run from the hordes. I beseeched Internet, asking telling him of my sandal quest. He laughed cruelly and sent me to the deceptively pleasant primal Amazons, then to the pirates of the Bay of E. I asked, What of the Sunenski Clan? He immediately softened, showing me lush windows with the Legendary Sandals of Chaco Island for a fraction of the coin sought by the Amazons.CHAPTER 4: The HeroesI left for the Norman Town clan meet, and was greeted by the jovial Bikesmith Jordan White, keeper of the cycle stables. With wit and aplomb, he fitted me for a steed and then fitted me for the sandals. Alas, while the logs said they were present, the Silver Rex (+2 buff to everything) I desired were no where to be found. Jordan looked and looked sending many letters updating me on his progress. At last he told me to go back to Internet the Fearsome. I tried my summoning incantation on the god but it was ineffective due to Paypal sucking. I sent a sparrow to Sunenski and quickly a hawk returned carrying the voice of John, the Night Phone Salesman. With friendly wisdom, he guided me through the steps necessary to get my wish. When my spell failed again, the hawk returned before I knew anything was wrong. Though his shift was over and he should be at home, John called upon me as a salve to my woes, performing the ceremony in my place. Now, I rest assured of my impending sandals, and realizing these were no mere mortals I encountered. No, John and Jordan were embodiments of the lost Spirit of Customer Service! I felt renewed with hope and clambered back to the Internet God to see how I could repay these heroes for their work. i only hope that my prayers have reached them.EPILOGUE: Authors noteThese are all true events just worded in an odd way by a sleep deprived biology student who is supposed to write an essay in the middle of the night but instead is presented with an online survey with a character limit around 4000. So not writing a three-page paper on Japanese culture, i penned a three-page short fantasy about my awesome experience with two of the best salesmen ever. Seriously, Jordan White the Bike Manager in Norman and John the Night Phone worker need to deserve a raise/bonus. I will post on all review sites until it happens.
Great selection with a knowledgeable and friendly staff!
