This has been a very affordable storage unit for the summer into fall and has helped us move things out of our house for showings. We are ready to move into our new home all because we were able to move our clutter for the new buyers to love our home. Very affordable compared to other storage spaces. Process is very smooth!

Kevin was very helpful at the North Aurora facility. We had an indoor unit, and inside was clean and maintained very well. Our property was safe and secure over the 2.5 years we had them stored there.My biggest gripe was with the corporate side of Extra Space. Every 9 months the price was increased 10-15% (started at 10%, increased to 15% for the most recent increases). I also had to request that my last month be prorated since I would not be occupying it for the whole month, which seems like a ridiculous thing to have to ask for. That being said, Kevin was very helpful with this and provided the refund for the last month promptly.We had renters insurance from another provider so we waived the insurance that was offered by Extra space, so it was slightly more affordable. Pricing seemed comparable to the competition, so If you are prepared for those increases then this is a good place to store your possessions.

I’ll start off by saying the customer rep I spoke with on the phone did a great job providing me with a unit that fit my stuff perfectly! And first months free! Then I was very welcomed by Kevin! Great communication great service and very nice! I’m glad I decided to check out this storage facility! Definitely will continue to use whenever needed and recommend to anyone who is looking!

Incredibly professional, great attitude and I appreciate the excellent customer service.My belongings in storage are safely stored and the temperature control makes all the difference to me. Always clean and I feel safe when I’m there because of the lighting and cameras. I’ve been storing with them approximately 6 months or more.This is the place to go to meet all your storage needs!

Rhiannon at the North Aurora Illinois store was absolutely wonderful, got me in on a moments notice, and even change out my unit when I found I mis-calculated what I needed, with no problem whatsoever. She has wonderful and very accommodating personality.The unit is very clean, well maintenanced and very secure. I was very impressed.I highly recommend this facility.

Facility is clean, staff are friendly. Only downside is the dumpster seemed to be locked every time we were there, I was renting at another Extra Space facility before this and had unrestricted access to the dumpster at all times. Not a deal breaker, and we might have been able to ask staff for access, we didnt press the issue. Nice place overall.

Extra Space is very clean and reasonably priced. The staff is wonderful and helpful when questions arise. The location is easy to find although the actual units are hard to decipher. There aren’t any signs or directions once inside so that would be the one negative. Other than that, great experience so far.

I recently moved out of state and needed to store my stuff and be confident it would be secure. I can tell you that I am extremely happy with my choice in this facility. Needed extra storage space to prep my home before moving. Staff listened to my needs and assisted with selecting the appropriate storage unit. They provided a clean, safe and secure unit only 4 miles from my home. I could not be more pleased with the customer service and facility.

We love the ease and convenience of our storage facility. The temperature control has made it so we are able to keep all of our paint supplies in the unit year round with no worries. I haven’t moved into my unit yet so this review is only for the service I’ve received so far. Every Extra Space Storage staffer I’ve interacted with has been extremely professional and completely helpful. They would get a perfect 10 on a customer service test.

They have clean units and the staff is wonderful. Had a great experience with them. That I used them again. And will whenever I’m in need of storage. 🙏🏼

Customer service is great as is ease from the highway. I will say that after 2 months they raised my rate and I think this is a dishonest business practice, like they got you in and got you to put your stuff in and then raised the rate. If you want to charge me that, say that from the get go.

Store manager Vanessa was very kind and helpful! We needed to store our household items during our move. We rented a 5x5 for two months and got our second month for free! The facilities are clean and easy to use. There are carts by every door to help unload and move items and the sign-up process was quick and easy, everything was done digitally! Would recommend!

Awesome location. Front office was knowledgeable and helpful. Vanessa the manager took her time to explain and go over everything. Units are immaculate and spotless. No bugs thankfully and drive up access is available. The location itself is secured by an entrance gate and locks. Each unit is lit so no need to bring any flashlights ! Our unit was very spacious and easy to get to.

Before I signed anything, she made sure I knew their policies (which were standard and fair) and she make sure I was happy. If I ever need a storage facility again, I will go back.
