Now reading through reviews I can see why there is so many complains about been harass at this store! Wow! I came in yesterday to buy a a new huda product, which it was out of stock. 1st lady was very nice. Then a middle age African American approach me with a Huge attitude again asking me with ATTITUDE what do I need? I’m. Like excuse me? Then she proceed to scan me with her eyes up and down, I don’t know if she thought I was stealing? Honey please! I’m like WTH? I left furious and concerned to know how in the world you can hired people like this? I worked in retailed for 24 years I never trained or told any of my employees to do this with anyone ever. I’ll be shopping at the Gaithersburg location which is far from me. But I have no other choice. Ridiculous.

Walked into the store with my girlfriend, was greet at the door and asked if I was looking for anything specific we said no just browsing. We were confronted again 2 mins later with the same question from the same employee which we answer with no.The employee literally followed us around the store for the next 6-7 mins and when she was finished the lady behind the counter who watched the entire thing came over and confronted us once again asking if we had something specific and there when we said no she stepped back and stared at us. The entire situation was strange and offputting especially being followed around the store. I didn’t even want to buy what we found at the store. I’d rather go anywhere else.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to say, this Sephora is amazing! The staff is so knowledgeable and respectful. Every time I’ve been in the store, they’re able to recommend the perfect product! I don’t shop anywhere else for makeup! Rosa and David are two of my favorite associates— if you have questions, they have the answers!

They carry very good brands but customer service is hit or miss, some ladies are very professional and they truly assist and help and the other type you really dont wanna talk to. Today was a nice experience.

Love this Sephora. Its not the largest Ive ever been to BUT the selection is plentiful and the customer service is always great, even during Covid.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE! From the minute we stepped into the store we were treated with 0 respect. The woman at the front of the store talked to us mockingly, with an attitude, after which she proceeded to gossip and laugh behind our backs. There were 3 in our party and the 3rd person noticed the sephora employees standing behind us whispering. Grown women with no class working a job they simply arent fit to work. Customer service is a foreign concept at this location. Ruined my holiday shopping experience that day. Try the Montgommery mall or the Chevy Chase location instead.

Don’t ever want to return to this store! The staff members are not that nice. Once I stepped into the store I wanted to leave. Felt really uncomfortable and out of place. I recommend going to the one in Montgomery Mall...it’s only 13 mins away from here. The workers are so nice and willing to help you!

Had a great experience today. The ladies who helped me were very sympathetic, my father had just passed and they were very comforting. I even got a hug, which I really appreciated considering I was a complete stranger. ♥️♥️♥️

Sephora has myriad varieties of make up and skin care. Love this location and they have a friendly staff. One of my favorite places to buy skincare and makeup. Also like the fact that they give out samples to try before buying.

Today I had a make up session with Carole, she was super nice and showed the best way how to apply make up, she suggested me products which better fit to my skin type and color and she answered all questions. I will definitely come back !

I bought a Deluxe Perfume Sampler which gives me a choice of a full size at no extra cost. I chose the Tori Burch 1.0 Fl oz Eau de Parfum. Over two weeks ago they told me they were out in all the stores and suggested that I call today (2/1/2020) to find out if they received it. They didn’t. I offered to pay for the difference to get a bigger size and was denied the request. They can’t even tell me when they are going to get it.I don’t like any of the other samples. The sales people sounded frustrated with me and I truly didn’t appreciate it since they didn’t come up with a solution.

Very nice store but a much smaller haircare selection than I was expecting. Friendly staff. Ill likely return for the premium skincare product lines.

I got a foundation matching with Melissa and she pretty much gave me an entire makeup tutorial and helped me pick out a whole set of essential products.I was really not happy with the powder foundation I was using (which I got elsewhere), and she helped me find the perfect liquid foundation for my skin, along with accompanying primer, concealer, blush and highlight, a beauty blender and lip color. Id also had no luck finding a lip color I liked until now. And I was terrible with blush, didnt know how to use highlight... okay basically I was terrible with makeup.I couldnt be happier with her help and with all the products I got. Ive literally never liked my face as much as I do now.

I dont understand all these bad reviews... All the employees were so nice, the women who color matched my skin was so sweet. The primer i wanted was all gone but without me even asking she looked in the back for more, which there was more! Very satisfied, plus they have a lot of products that i havent seen in store at any other sephora around here. this store is also always extremely organized which i LOVE. Very easy to navigate the brands i love. Great sephora location.

Do the makeover and request Sean at Tysons. Free with 50$ purchase of anything. Loved it. My young teens felt like princesses with the natural makeovers he gave them.

I was followed out of the store. Like an earlier review said, three employees waited by the exit as my sister and I left. It was clearly they thought we were stealing even AFTER we bought two products. Wouldn’t be surprised if we were being racially profiled...sad

Go to place for woman like me who loves make up.

I prefer the location and sales associates at this store over neighboring Sephoras (Montgomery and Columbia Mall). Levels of enthusiasm vary among employees, but they are all helpful, and dont make you feel like a pariah asking for samples. Sometimes confused on store policies or promotions, but are willing to figure it out. Unfortunately, they dont have the full selection of MILK Makeup products here!

Let me start by saying, I knew i was pushing myself to get here before 9 pm when they closed. & Normally, I wouldnt go into a store this close to closing but I got out of work late and only needed to replace my Sunday Riley Face Cleanser.I arrived at the doors at 8:57 and they were locked!! It took me another 2 minutes to get the employees attention that was standing by the make up mirrors to the immediate right of the door. She just mouthed closed and went back to fixing her hair.I dont need alot of help because I have my tried and true favorites but her lack of customer service and the fact that there were still people inside the store means....-ill order online directly from Sunday Riley

About a year ago the customer service at this store went completely south. The associates dont really know their products or completely unwilling to help. The lack of training shows in every aspect of interaction with the staff.I actually had to explain Sephoras own promotion to a lady at the register. I read about it online. She didnt know about it until I explained. Today one of the ladies actually made a face when I asked to give me a sample of the eye cream product I wanted to try. There are so many other options around the area I live. Im long time Sephora member but its time to shop around.

Im always greeted at this Sephora rockville location even when theyre busy. I suggest you go to Sephora during non-peak hours but even when theyre business the staff here always help and answer questions.

I went in here to cash in a certificate. The staff was very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I definitely like this store better than the Sephora in JCPennys. The stand alone Sephora is really well lite. The one in JCPennys is horrible. I have no idea why any customer there would ever get a makeover. When Ive shopped there I find it hard to see what Im looking for. From now on Id much rather travel farther to this Sephora.

The store is new, nice, pleasant sales but I wanted to buy nail polish Dior. Unfortunatelly the color was out of stock even though the sample was there (not for sale) - I couldn´t understand why brand now store do not have full stock. So I did buy it on Amazon - and surpriselly it was $4 cheep then in this shop. Hope it will not happened next time

The cashier insisted that I had to show her my beauty insider account barcode to check out. However, I signed up my BI online, so I dont have a physical card. The Sephora mobile site had some problem that morning, so I couldnt have my barcode showed up using my cell phone. I could used my email or my phone number to check out in other Sephora store. I was so confused that this cashier couldnt do that for me. Although the other guy just used his wifes phone number to check out!!! After spending 30min in store, I left with nothing! I will put my order online, and never go to this Sephora in the future.
