I have no complaints, Larry was very professional, detailed, knowledgeable and thorough when I asked questions about my services and in explaining my vehicle conditions and warranty package coverages. During a time with a lack of cars, my family had the best experience with Tyler throughout the process. It was about 2 months before my father received his car and the dates changed several times but Tyler was in constant communication with us week after week being completely transparent. He was very personable and really works hard for his customers. He even returned my call on his day off. Top level service!

Buckley Fulghum and tech M Hyman did a fantastic job on our 1999 MR2 Spyder! It was struggling with several engine codes and I was worried it may be beyond repair due to its age but these guys fixed it up with a superior level of expertise and care - even took the extra step of hand washing the car because it’s a rag top - wow! You just don’t see that anymore. I’ll be back!
I get my car serviced at numerous Toyota dealerships depending on the time of year and what city Im in. I will say that this trip wasnt planned after experiencing a flat tire. To the woman that answered the phone to the gentleman that checked me in. The whole experience was hands down the best service Ive had. Larry assisted me picking out the right tire and I also had Larry the last time I came in for an oil change. I dont think you could ever go wrong with Larry. I was able to easily make a Same-Day appointment online. I arrived 20 minutes early and my car was taken right in. Less than an hour waiting and I was back on the road. My Service Agent, John Dunbar, was professional and helpful. He even looked up the maintenence records for my old Toyota truck and got me on schedule with that maintenance too. He was awesome!
Excellent service. I drove 2 hours to Hendrick based upon their reputation and I was not disappointed. The appointment was made easily with a phone rep and my salesman met me right on time. Daniel Dew was very courteous, patient, down-to-earth, respectful, no-pressure, and accomodating even though I told him I would probably not be buying today. The deal and the car was right, and I bought anyways!!
Came early for my oil change 7:30 am appointment. I mentioned that I was driving 4 hours to Jacksonville and that I was leaving from there to FL. They got my car ready in less than 45 minutes. I purchase my FJ Cruiser from them back in 2007 and always bring it in for all the car services. They are very friendly, quick and honest. I will continue to bring my car to them for as long as I have it. And come back to buy another car from them when it is time to replace my car (hopefully not anytime soon since I love my FJ Cruiser and they dont make them any more) But when I am ready to get another it will definitely be a Toyota from Hendrick because of their service department. Toyotas are the best cars

Great service... I stopped at Hendricks for my 5k mile Toyotacare service on a Saturday and the staff got me in and out quickly.
So listen, I was in a pinch. My Honda 2011 Honda Pilot (390K miles) decided it was time to retire, and I needed a vehicle. I travel a LOT for work, between Indiana where my home base is, and my place here in Charleston. We have three kids, who all play multiple sports, and we travel even more for that. I knew I wanted a Tacoma. We are still dealing with the Pandemic, supply shortages, vehicles sold before even hitting the lot, and inventory was at its lowest level in decades. I reached out to Hendrick, and specifically Denny Loomas. He made it his personal mission to find me EXACTLY what I was looking for. He found exactly what I wanted, made sure it was allocated for me, worked with me every step of the way, and kept me updated DAILY, and I mean DAILY on the status. Offered a ride from the airport as I was without a vehicle when it was delivered to the dealership, and took the time to personally make sure every option was explained, and everything I wanted was taken care of. THEN, get this, THEN, I get to the dealership, paperwork is ready, there is no haggling, there is no waiting, I mean I walked in, we sat down, and we got things signed. The experience gets even better.... Went to work with the finance manager, Adam Tounkara, and he wasnt there to upgrade, he wasnt there to add on to the sale, he was there to make sure that I had total protection on my new Tacoma. We discussed usage, mileage driven per year, what was important TO ME about protection, and longevity of the vehicle. He personally worked with me to find the best fit FOR ME, not for him, not for Hendrick, for ME. All the while, we discussed family, friends, and life. I walked away from this experience happier than I could have ever expected. You want service? You want people who are concerned with you, and not making the extra sale for profit? Last week, I assisted a friend with purchasing a 2019 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab from Hendrick Toyota. As a former Hendrick employee, I knew it would be a great experience and needless to say, the team delivered in spades.We worked with Patrick (Sales Manager), Tyler (Sales Consultant), and Brian (F&I Manager) and things could not have gone better. Patrick was eager and willing to help answer any and all of the questions we had, provided us with vehicle details and information, and was very pro-active in taking care of a few minor blemishes on the truck.Once we settled on price and payment, Tyler stepped in and helped talk us through the initial round of paperwork. We was very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable as well, and did an excellent job of getting everything in order to expeditiously get us into F&I.Our final stop was Brian and he made the F&I process simple and enjoyable. I loved his direct and honest approach.The dealership team as a whole had us out of there in 2hrs and 37mins, all while upholding the Hendrick Values and delivering a seamless purchase experience. I was very pleased and impressed, and look forward to referring additional business to them in the future.
I typically am not one for bad reviews, but this is my second bad review for this dealership. The first one was due to receiving my new car when it was not properly cleaned even after specifically requested.The second bad experience was when I received a rental car with expired tags by two months, maintenance required, and a hub cap missing. The dealership did not give me an inspection of what was wrong with the car prior to driving off the lot, making this incident their word over mine. Upon returning the rental car I am being charged $120.80 to replace this singular hub cap. After seeing the mud on the rental the service man said rough roads can make the cap fall off. The dirt road I drive on received heavy rain causing mud to form on the car. Hub cabs are not easy to remove, insinuating I removed this cap or it falling off from “rough roads” is insulting. This dealership is a shining city on a hill, from buying a vehicle to the parts department you cant go wrong. Just got off the phone with George who helped me find a part another dealer told me didnt exist, this gentleman even sent me diagrams while we were talking to make sure I had what I needed, I wouldnt go anywhere else! The vehicle buying process is fantastic too, Cameron and Tori helped me with a deal that could not be beat. Excellent service, kind people, and outstanding dedication make this already fantastic brand even better. You wont regret it!
Larry was very polite and knowledgeable about my issue. He not only solved my issue, he was polite and understanding and listened to what I had to say. He never talked over me or interrupted me. And honestly thats the best customer service to have. 10/10 customer service skills.

It was my first service visit since I purchased my car. Jack was awesome because she took the time to explain how things worked. She explained to me on my next visit what needed to be done to my car and how long it would take. She told me about the shuttle service. When she walked me to my car she and reminded me again of the days the shuttle runs because I will need to utilize it on my next visit. This is by far the best customer service I’ve experienced from a car dealership in a long time.
Very friendly, I was walked through the whole process of buying a car and she was very helpful in insuring me how everything would work. Sweet and kind I recommend coming here if look for a car or if you just need help with a car in general.But I did run into an Inconvenience towards the end and I don’t appreciate the tone of voice he had with me and the way he handled the situation, I do want to write a complaint on him, I think his name is tony and he handles the finance work
Vivian (sorry if I got this name wrong but she’s amazing) and Josh are awesome! Had my best experience ever at a dealer service department. My day started out terrible when I got a crack in my windshield on the way to Toyota. But I was greeted by Josh who introduced me to Vivian who gave me great advice when getting my windshield repaired. Josh gave me some other great tips about work I wanted to do to my Tacoma. Looking forward to future trips to get my truck serviced! Never something I thought I would say.
Chase was great. He did a walk around. Assessed any problems I had missed. Explained what work was necessary. Called when the technical review was finished. Let me know what should be done. I considered his recommendations and authorized the additional work. I knew I was dealing with someone one who knew his job.
I worked with Lauren Hunt in the service department. The entire experience was great from helping me with transportation to the friendly service and conversation I couldn’t be happier with how it went. Only thing I wish was different is that I could leave more stars! Thanks Lauren and everyone else in the service department! Also my driver for the shuttle was AMAZING.

Ive always had good service at Toyota, but this location has been especially attentive. Carolyn Reetz is efficient and pleasant, with great customer services skills. This time she loaned me her charger when I arrived with a dead phone (and expecting a call from a service rep due at my house). She also helped me find an outlet for the charger despite wearing a boot. Thanks, Carolyn! The work was completed within the expected time frame - even a bit earlier. Thanks, service technician!
I purchased my car from here in august 2020 and had a decent experience. I included a service/roadside assistance/protection plan with my purchase. In June 2021 my car would not start before work. I quickly called the service desk and was informed I never purchased these protections and that I would need to tow the car in myself. I expressed my certainty that I did indeed purchase this coverage but the receptionist rudely told me I was wrong. I proceeded to pay for a tow truck before I ultimately discovered that I was correct in the first place and did indeed have roadside assistance and other coverages. I received no apology regarding my unnecessary expenses for the tow truck. As a nurse, I do not get off work until 7:30pm or later. I was told I needed to pick up my car by 8pm or it would have to wait at the dealer until the next day. I explained that I worked for the next 5 days and would likely not make it to the dealer in time, and inquired if they could stay open just 10 minutes later so that I could pick up my keys and avoid the added expenses of paying for ubers to and from work for days on end. I was rudely informed that everything closes promptly at 8 with no exceptions. I was not upset that they would not make an exception for me, but with the tone of voice used to relay this info. The employees at this location need further education in how to converse over the phone with customers.
I needed a second key for my RAV4 and spoke with the parts dept on Wednesday. He said they had the key in stock in the warehouse and suggested an appointment on Friday would work. I was transferred to the service desk and made the appointment.I called on Friday to confirm the part had arrived but got voicemail. I asked them to call and confirm but didnt hear back. I went to the appointment anyway and mentioned to the intake agent that I had ordered the part on Wednesday. OVER AN HOUR LATER, THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDNT HAVE THE PART!So I wasted about 2 hours and accomplished absolutely nothing. Their process seems completely lacking. I got nothing but an offer to order the part and try again next week. No thanks! There are other Toyota dealers around Id suggest you try one of them. They literally could not do a worse job.

Daniel Dew and the manager there (Patrick) are both amazing. I purchased a 2013 Honda CRV from them and even though my initial financing fell through Patrick went out of his way to make sure I would still drive away happy. He personally secured me financed through a local bank and kept my loan terms within reason. This is my 5th car Ive bought from a dealership and by far the best experience with a car salesman. Daniel made sure the car was serviced and detailed ( it looked brand new inside when they were done) and kept me updated throughout the whole 3 week process. If your looking for a car and in the North Charleston area you should definitely give them your business.
It seems like the employees do not communicate whatsoever. I called and was told that I didn’t need an appointment for my service, I got there and was told I had to have an appointment. I made the appointment then left. When I came back for the appointment I was told that I didn’t have an appointment! They said they would take me as a walk in like it was a favor to me. Then the mechanics put the wrong information in for the “inspection”. I know for a fact they they didn’t inspect my tires like they were supposed it. The salesman was fine (didn’t know much about anything but he was new) but I will never buy a car with them again due to their service department.
Today was a very long day! This was the fourth place I had gone to and I was literally over looking for cars there was nothing I liked at the last three. So I said let me stop here and just see..when we got out a beautiful woman named Charlene approached us. She was very nice and extremely helpful!! I fell in love with the car love at first sight! Lol... She told me the car I choose would be the best for me off of what I liked and was looking for! The process granted took some time but she made it so smooth and it wasn’t super super long...Charlene had so much patience as I didn’t expect to get a car at all that day honestly but we pulled it all together! He is a good listener and delivers on your wishes. I have never had such a positive laid back experience buying a car. Toyotas last forever and I assure you my friendship with Danny has not ended when the papers were signed and I walked out the door.I would also like to give credit to Nicole Crutcher in the service department. She takes care of you every step of the way and keeps you informed of maintenance progress.
My experience was good, but it could be better. Its hard to understand is the dealer is selling a car that is expensive (over 50k) they do not provide the floor mats for the car, if you want those you nwill need yo purchase them. Also, even when they try to do everything easier for the buyer the waiting time is longer that what it should be. People are friendly and they are doing their job, but in the same way that I make an appointment to view the car, if I decide to buy the same Im expecting to leave early not wait 2 plus hours to sign the paperwork; unless that they are doing that so you can sign the paperwork faster. I really would like to see if any of the managers will contact me to at least apologize for the waiting period.
Highly recommend! When my cars battery light came on at the beach, I was concerned about making the trip safely home. I was able to make an appointment at Hendrick online to gain some piece of mind. Then my car wouldnt turn on at all, I called Hendrick and Carolyn was a huge help in problem solving options. She even offered towing company options and correctly anticipated what my car needed. Once I arrived at Hendrick Carolyn was able to prioritize my vehicle assessment so I could plan my travel home. I am thankful for Hendrick and their team. I am happy with my service and the warranty they have on their work. Thank you!
Everyone at Hendricks Toyota was amazing! This was the first time I was buying a brand new car and I could not have felt more comfortable. Jennie was easy to work with and genuinely cared that I liked the car. Keevin was our finance guy and was great! He did not try and push anything on us that we did not want and made sure we understood what all went into each plan. I highly recommend these guys for any first time or experienced car buyers! We will definitely be going back in the future.
I went to Toyota to get my car routine maintenance. One of the employees there, his name was Chase. He was super helpful and really nice when the whole time I was being serviced at Toyota. Took my 21 Tacoma to their shop today.Service is usually good however I had a small problem with a rivet on the fabric of the seat that came out.Causing a small hole.When I spoke with the service manager he was rude and told be things just don’t fall out and that I took the rivet out and could not warranty it this is far from the truth .So you can’t replace just the rivet you have to replace the whole seat cover.I do understand that some parts of the interior may not be covered.This is an obvious flaw. The vehicle only has 12000 miles on it.So needless to say not very happy.
I have been bringing my 1998 here since I got it, and Hendrick Toyota keeps it on the road. Their work is reliable, and the time necessary to do the work is reasonable. I appreciate the checks that allow me to plan ahead for maintenance work. All of the employees are pleasant to work with, especially Carolyn Reetz. I recommend the service department based on years of good experiences.
Daniel Dew took excellent care of us during the purchase of our 2021 Tundra. We were looking for a very specific color and model. He kept us informed and we always felt that our questions and concerns were seriously taken. Daniel was professional, polite and gave us the time we needed to understand all the bells and whistles that came with our Tundra. This was the first time we have purchased a vehicle out of State but felt totally in control of the entire process. Hendrick Toyota has an excellent individual representing their organization.
Andrew Dunbar does an outstanding job explaining whats going on with your vehicle. He explains what is wrong and how much it will cost you to repair what is wrong. He doesnt rush, and he patiently waits for you to make an informed decision. He is definitely an asset to your organization and he represents Hendricks Toyota well.

No one moved… the staff outside did not great me … no one inside came out to assist, I had to go look for assistance. So thank you Dennis for making sure I was taken care of from start to finish. When I scheduled my 100k maintenance on a Saturday at 3:15 ( didn’t see the service center hours posted anywhere btw ) the lady who checked me in was rude and the first thing she said to me was that they closed in 45 minutes and asked what I needed done. I made an appointment so she could have looked me up and saw what I needed done, but by that time I felt like so dismissed by her so I just said I needed an oil change when really I needed a little more. The day before my appointment a rep reached out to ask me if I wanted to discuss trade in options during my service visit but when I was actually there the next day it was the total opposite and seemed like no one wanted to help me and that I was an inconvenience coming in an hour before they closed. I understand that is annoying but I work and that’s the only time I could come in. I’ve been getting my car serviced here for years and didn’t expect that coming here. There was one man who asked if we needed help while we were waiting for the oil change who was nice and so was the man who checked me out so not all the staff was rude so I will say that.

Went today for recall-related service. Was greeted upon arrival at scheduled time. Service was completed one hour sooner than originally estimated. ToyotaCare scheduled service also was performed, avoiding a subsequent additional visit. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Did not encounter any issues. Very happy with the outcome.

The finance guy was pleasant, but a little disorganized. Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle here.

Salesman Daniel was great and very professional. I’m not used to people not being pushy when selling me an automobile. He was fantastic. No high pressure sales, just one man helping another to find the right vehicle. I got a great truck for a great price in today’s extreme truck market. Finance was helpful in getting the paperwork done in a timely manner and finding the right coverage for my new truck. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased from Hendrick and as good as Toyota’s are, probably won’t be our last. Very satisfied with their product and service.
My fiancee brought my car in for me because I had lost A/C and had a slow leak in one of my tires. I made an appointment, but when she arrived the worker, Lauren Gladden, insisted she did not have an appointment. She also insisted that there was nothing wrong with the tire. This of course turned out to not be true as I had a nail in the sidewall. She told my fiance the wait would be about 45 minutes but it took over 3 hours, and was just generally rude to my fiancee. The results where that I needed the evaporator and some other components replaced and that I needed a new tire as it could not be fixed. We did not like the price quoted so we found a local place that could do it at a more fair price. This isnt unreasonable as everyone knows dealerships charge more for labor. The real kicker was that the other place fixed my tire (for free) because it turns out Hendrick Toyota was just lying about it not being fixable. I understand the high price, but I can not forgive the rudeness and the lying.
Bob worked hard to get me the car I wanted. He did such a great job that I referred a friend to him. Would definitely use him again. This is my first time buying a Toyota and I absolutely love it!!!

Walked around the lot for 25-35 minutes. No one offered to assist me or inquire about whether or not I needed assistance. Sales personnel were walking around on their phones and basically ignored me. Only one appeared to be with a customer and he looked at me like I had 3 heads.I’m sure it had something to do with my bandana, shorts and T-shirt. Too bad for them I came prepared to buy - with a check for the full price of the car I wanted to buy. Thank goodness there are other Toyota dealerships!
Mr. Phillip took very good care of me and gave me the best customer service while my car was recently serviced at Hendrick Toyota North Charleston. He did everything in his power to make sure I was aware of everything that was going on with my car each day that it was there. He always called and provided updates. And every time I spoke with him he was very kind and respectful and was always willing to explain things I didnt understand. I cannot thank him enough for all hes done throughout the process of me getting a major problem with my car fixed. I definitely rate my recent service at Hendrick Toyota a 10/10. Very good care and fast service, the only thing they did was rotate the tires and the front tire on the drivers side had a nail.They marked it with chalk and they didnt fix it, but they didnt tell me anything either and I stayed on the highway with flat tire.
I had one of those issues that happens to you once but won’t repeat for Service. Nevertheless, Garret in Service was understanding and checked out my vehicle thoroughly, no problem, as polite and pleasant as pie! So refreshing!

I purchased a vehicle from them few years ago and was looking into trading in the vehicle and get a new one. I had a really good quote from out of town dealership and asked Hendricks if they can make the price similar since the out of town dealer was couple hours away and I was willing to accept offer even if Hendricks offer was few hundreds more. But their answer was no. I understand its sellers market with chip shortage right now but I knew the profit dealers taking only got bigger (as I have some friends working in car business) Hendricks attitude was more like If you dont want it, leave. We have other blind people whos going to purchase our cars lined up.On the other hand, I asked for the same at Fred Andersons Toyota and they didnt hesitate a second to match the price. I would NOT recommend Hendricks for anyone whos considering getting a new car. Its really sad that Charleston only has 2 Toyota dealerships, but Fred Anderson fortunately was willing to negotiate while Hendricks would not budge. Cant imagine the profit Hendricks is taking on new car theses days. Price difference was huge FYI. Avoid them!

The four star rating is probably not fair because the service was excellent. The GM Jason Scott was wonderful about accommodating our vehicle search. Danny and Brian were both incredibly helpful. And for A BUSY Saturday afternoon, they managed to get us through the necessary processes very quickly. The vehicle was spotless and in general my wife and I were completely satisfied. Im very stingy with 5 star ratings, otherwise I probably would have given them one.
It was a pretty efficient experience. I really enjoyed the online aspect of the inspection. Once they inspect your car, they send a link via text that lets you see what else needs to be done to your car. You choose what you want done and it’s added to your services. Of course, you pay once you’re done. I was greatly helped by Carolyn. Her bubbly personality saved the customer service side of the process.
The omelettes are the best!!!! Who would have thought! Quick service.

The staff here are always super friendly and personable. I bought my car from a different Toyota dealer, where I had a bad experience (South Florida), but have had all of maintenance done at Hendrick Toyota North Charleston and couldnt be happier. Usually get in and out in under an hour with full maintenance performed.

We were in for a 55,000 mile maintenance and to check a loud rumbling from the a/c. The maintenance work was done seamlessly, and the a/c turned out to be from leaves under the hood blocking the air access. The maintenance was done at no cost under an extended service program and the a/c was also diagnosed and corrected at no cost. We love Rick Hendrick Toyota.
Purchased 2021 Highlander hybrid..Got an e mail from the dealership saying if I had any questions, I could come in for an advisors help. Great I thought.Called and made an appointment.Got there and was met by James who was friendly. Told him why I was there and had operational questions. He said no problem but told me he was leaving in 30 minutes and it was his last day. I said get me someone else noting these facts. He said he had it under control. 15 min later he came back and said let’s review your questions. He was only able to answer 1 and that was only an half answer. He admitted my other 8 questions he did not know. Again I said get me someone else. He said he would research over the weekend and call me Sunday. I said you are leaving. He said no matter I was his customer. I left saying nice guy to call me back.Guess what I never got a call. Buy a 45k can and have to many operational questions.Used to be in the car business and we always said anyone can sell you a car but the after care is what counts. I wanted to buy another car for my wife but not from them. Sad story but I learned the hard way.Beware
Was told the wait for my appointment would be an hour to an hour and a half, but was in and out in about 45 minutes for a 40,000 mile service today. On top of that, its always a breath of fresh air when you go to check out and there arent 3 or 4 things that need to be fixed. Thanks for making my visit quick and easy, Andrew!
Usually, my service experiences are great at Toyota. However, yesterday was anything but great. The service professionals in the service department seemed to be annoyed I was there at all. The communication wasn’t up to par as it normally is. Upon arriving to come back and pickup my vehicle, I was rudely rushed away by the parts service associate and rudely told my keys were already in my vehicle, which I didn’t appreciate at all considering my window was left down and anyone could of stolen my vehicle from where it was left parked.
Bought a Rav-4 from them on July 27, 2021. Upon inspecting the car, prior to purchasing, we noticed that a part was missing from the vehicle. Ralph, our sales person, said he went to the parts department and had the part ordered as a condition of our purchase, however upon calling the parts department 3 times and attempting to reach Ralph 4 times, we have never received a phone call back, have not received our part, and according to the parts department, the order was never placed by Ralph. I am very dissatisfied with this customer service that I have received after purchasing my vehicle to include no follow up after the sale. The only positive out of this purchase was the finance manager, Manny Ybarra. He was fantastic and deserves all of the recognition. Hopefully I can get this resolved soon, as Ive been trying for the last 3 weeks with no result.
Chase was my service agent. He was thorough in explaining everything being done on my vehicle. He promised it to be finished in under an hour and it was. As a long term Toyota owner, I would definitely recommend the service department at Hendrick Toyota.
Andrew is an excellent service advisor. Had to deal with a part that was on backorder for my 4Runner and he kept in touch with me via text no mater how many times I bugged him. Excellent customer service. I also had an awesome experience with Dave in the parts department about this same issue. They really have a great team at Hendrick! Id recommend them to anyone. Pretty quick process. Pretty fair price. Staff was great. Exhaust on car is a little loose, so they are scheduling a time for me to bring it back to fix that.
I had the best, happiest experience buying a car. My salesman Jerome was most helpful, friendly and patient with me. Also Torry, Jordan and one other I didnt get his name, they went above and beyond to get me in a new car. I was not pressured in any way. Work completed faster than expected but not sure if it is right or not. Was or am having issues with electronics GPS and Bluetooth. GPS missing location I have been to many times by 8+ miles. Bluetooth calling a contact that doesnt sound close to the person Im trying to call. Nice service writer tried to help me as Im old and not a techie. He thought it was an issue with my phone. Oddly after I left and drove about 25 feet and tried it works ? Truck just turned 20,000 miles, last 2000 Tundra was best truck I ever owned. This is a gas guzzler, now I know why it has a 38 gal. tank !
