Two years ago I had a new garage opener. Everything worked fine. But I had the same problem three times. The energy supply company had a few seconds off. After this time, the garage door opener did not open, and it was also impossible to turn on the light on the opener manually. Switching the circuit breaker on and off a few times did not help. After a few hours on the second day it worked fine. I have no idea what could be causing this problem.

I have established business with precision garage door company for the second time. The first was to obtain a new garage door a year ago. Extremely professional knowledgeable and prompt. Today I had a sudden need for a new garage door opener. I called today the day after Labor Day. I spoke to a customer service agent who was extremely polite as I explained that I needed service as soon as possible. To my surprise she had a technician here within six hours from the time of my phone call to install a brand new quality garage door opener. This technician was also extremely helpful professional and courteous. I rarely do reviews but considering the time and climate of today’s society this company deserves high Regards.

Although Precision Garage Doors was my second choice due to my first choice being a neighbor recommendation that wasn’t bad. I just needed to get me garage door closed again after being stuck open for a few days.Robert the repair person/installer called to let me know he was running behind an hour. He arrived when he said he would. Assessed my door and provided a quote for the repair and a side mounted Wi-Fi garage door opener. We accepted the quotes, he said he’d have someone drop off the motor or he could go to his last job complete it, then stop by the shop to pick up the motor then come back. Being 4:30pm I said that he didn’t have to do that as long as we could open and close the garage door, we can schedule the install later. He insisted it was ok. We had dinner plans, so when he arrived we were gone. He texted me when he arrived and when he was finished 3 hrs later, took my card over the phone with some instructions on the setup. Overall, very clean install and great customer experience.

He also was thorough explaining to me how I could lubricate my door in between Precision coming out and doing it for me annually. Robert was very polite, professional, and friendly.

Installer made sure we understood everything about the garage doors and openers before he left and liberally lubricated all needed lubrication points. I called Precision on a Saturday morning because the key pad on the outside of the garage door was not working--the battery was dead. I tried to put in a new battery on Friday afternoon, but one of anodes was corroded. When I called Precisian, the service gentleman came to my home in a little over one hour as he promised. He replaced the whole key pad. Then he offered to do my annual inspection, which I had neglected for a number of years. I also requested 2 new openers for my cars. He was able to set up both openers. After telling her my problems she said a service tech could be at my house between 12:00 and 2:00 and I said today? and she yes. I said that would be great.
