We had heard this was here and was in town and made a quick stop. The lady working was very nice and patient with me and my 3 kids. They had a great selection of bears to build and had some good prices. Well worth checking out.

Erin was fantastic. Very nice, stuffed my bears well, and did a wonderful heart ceremony. She showed a genuine interest in the bears I brought in to stuff, put the scents exactly where I wanted them, and helped me dress one of my bears. Great customer service.

It was great to see a built a bear in town again!It’s kinda small and it doesn’t have so many extra designs, but we still loved it!It was a warm welcome and friendly conversation.I think she was the assistent or some other kind of key holder. Really friendly!The only thing where we just can’t give 5 stars is, that she forgot to put in a heart in the bear. That’s just a standard procedure.But all together a great experience.

The very large red head manager at the north Charleston Build a Bear in Walmart as very rude and condescending.She clearly cares less about the childs experience than she does standing in a corner doing nothing...literally! If you ask her a question, she points, and when you think she is going to help you, she will just stand their and send you to another staff member, when there is no one in the store. What a waste if an opportunity to make a good impression.I heard this on several occasions at child functions and almost didnt believe the stories, because I did not think Build a Bear would keep someone on staff so unprofessional, and a manager no doubt...but this is sadly true.This manager who represents the company needs to be left go if the company stands behind what they advertise and deliver!I would not even bring my dog to the Walmart Build-a-Bear in North Charleston SC, and will be sure to let others know... the best advertisement for customer service.The other 2 staff members were nice and considerate. I feel sorry for anyone who who takes their child to this store. Build a Bear should be embarrassed to allow such people like this work for their company...Let alone the manager! FOR goodness sakes!!!

Loved the workshop and Stacie took really good care of my neice. We have been twice in a month and already cant wait to go again. The clothes are a lil expensive but worth it in the end.

My children loved it. They are very skilled at upselling.

The lady that works there was AMAZING. They took the social distancing and health precautions very seriously but she made sure that my son had an amazing experience. She loved her job and loved kids and it showed. I would highly recommend this build a bear. GREAT staff!

We had never been to a Build-A-Bear Workshop, and I had no idea we had one local (tucked away in the Tanger Walmart)!!! I figured it would be a smaller set up than I have seen advertised, but we stopped by and my son got to make his very own baby yoda! He has not stopped talking about it, hasnt put him down since we got him, and has changed his clothes 3 times!!! Needless to say....it is love! He has never felt such a connection and pride with his other stuffies (which he loves dearly). It was such an amazing experience for him, and I loved watching his pure joy!! The two ladies who were there, were so fantastic and my son (who is usually terribly shy) was so happy and comfortable with them! He was impressed by the whole experience, and I was too. The ceremony with the heart is so precious! We couldnt have asked for a better experience, and we both cant wait to go back! We highly recommend this location! Thank you ladies who made this day special!! ❤❤❤
