First time paying a company to move my belongings versus moving myself. We packed everything and then they did the heavy work by moving it all. Yes, its going to cost much more money vs moving yourself. However, I couldnt have been happier. I wish I would have done it before. The front office was super helpful and professional. I also enjoyed dealing with a local office versus some call center. Demetri was the lead for our team of 4. He is a solid leader. I appreciated having him running it. Thomas was the other driver and was a great addition to have. Thank you for making the move so much smoother.

I inherited a glass china cabinet that I need moved to my third floor apartment, so it was a much smaller job than they are used too. But they still handled it professionally and with great care! I hired TMAT for my move and they were awesome. I have several large oak-framed glass bookcases that I was worried about, they are big and heavy but also fragile because of all the glass. The TMAT crew showed up right on time, assessed the situation, and got every piece of furniture moved without a single scratch, and faster than the time quoted. The move was a great value. The moving team were pleasant and professional, and the office people I talked to were as well. Theyre reliable and give great service. We had a great local move with Two Men and a Truck this past weekend! Despite their name, we actually had three guys help us - Dee, Santell and Jay - and they were AMAZING! It was hot, and a holiday weekend, but nothing slowed them down. They moved our stuff so quickly, taking multiple boxes per trip up and down the stairs. The truck was super clean. They protected everything with wrap before moving it, and took off the wrapping before leaving. They were kind and polite throughout the whole process. I even asked them for help on where to put our sectional, and they were able to give us guidance on what they thought was best. We bought them pizza for lunch, and they took a slice with them as they walked. We didnt have to lift a finger - all we had to do was tell them what to take from one place and where to put it in our new place. If you have to move, definitely ask for this team!

I had a very positive experience with this company. The movers were professional and fast. I made sure to tip the two drivers; individually. I also liked how the company called after to do a follow up.

I want to start by being very clear that the movers themselves were amazing. They were hardworking, professional, and personable. However, the office personnel were not quite so diligent. They were prompt with providing a quote and scheduling a time for the movers to come. But that is where their helpfulness stopped. I called a few days before the move to ask a few clarification questions and confirm the reservation was still active and accurate. I received no real answers to my questions and had to make do on my own. When the movers came, they told us that they were not informed they would be moving any boxes (which I had already informed the office was part of the move) and would only be moving 12 unidentified items. They graciously still moved the boxes, realizing that it was the offices mistake and we shouldn’t be penalized for it. Fast forward to the end of the move they charged double the max amount we were quoted, without requesting us to sign a new contract, which was the proper protocol according to our paperwork. We were forced to pay the much higher amount and told we would need to speak to the office when it opened back up on Tuesday (closed Monday for Labor day). When I called, I let the office personnel know what had happened and that I wanted to know how my quote was so inaccurate and the movers so ill formed. She then proceeded to blame the movers for not knowing what they were moving (even though they showed us the quote they received that indicated only 12 items and they informed us that stuff like this happens all the time) and blamed the location of our apartment for the reason why it took longer than expected (even though they were fully aware of the location of our apartments when we received our quote). She offered no real answers and there was no accountability for her mistake, as she is the one who gave me my quote in the first place. She informed me that a manager would be in contact with me to rectify the situation and no one has been in contact. I allowed ample time for them to make the situation right and I have been cast aside now that they have my money already. If you decide to go with two men and a truck be warned that it could cost significantly more than your quote without forewarning, the office will never admit to their mistake, and the manager will not call you back with any answers. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the movers were so great!

Hired for a local move after another company bumped me from an early spot and wanted me to pay double the price. Sara and Teri in the office were amazing with answering questions and booking the move itself. The crew they sent was great, arrived early in the expected window and had finished loading up in less than a half an hour (granted it was a small move and I had everything packed and ready). They quickly arrived at the new place and worked quickly but carefully to bring everything in, even navigating the narrow sidewalks at the complex very well. No damage to walls or door frames, and they double verified the placement of everything inside. They actually finished earlier than expected so I ended up paying less than the estimate because they worked so efficiently. They were also upfront with understanding paperwork and accepting payment on site. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs movers and will probably move with them again if needed!

T and Tyree did a great job moving a lot of heavy and awkward furniture. They carefully protected everything. The move included two pickup locations requiring some coordination. The condition of one location was pretty bad and they kept a great attitude throughout the process. We highly recommend!

These guys were BEYOND helpful. My move could not have gone better. They were organized, detailed, focused, and careful with my things. They moved fast without being careless. That’s all I expected. But then they blew my mind because they were friendly, humorous, kind, and supportive. I was the second move they did and even in the middle of their day nearing the end they were awesome to be around.All of my furniture was assembled even things they didn’t take apart. I moved alone and this was my first time. I don’t have a tool set and I was nervous. These men got me moved and my entire apartment set up exactly as I wanted it and I never felt I was making them go out of their way or anything. They even unpacked another Uhaul for me.My estimate was exact because I was honest about what I had. I gave them nice tips and wish I had enough to give even more.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. The movers were very professional. However, the customer service was AWFUL!! They did not send enough trucks or men and they did NOT complete our move. We spent multiple days and extra $$ finishing the move ourselves. Customer Service blamed us for not accurately telling THEM how many trucks and men we would need. Absolutely did not care about trying to help with the situation at all. Not worth it - go with another company

I called and tried to schedule a move for my mother on 9/18. I went back and forth with their sales associate via email on the September the 18th and 19th and worked out an arrangement for a 2 bedroom pack and move for $1038, and was told I could call the office and book October the 15th for our move.So I called to book the date.They told me that the quote I got was mistaken, and that it was going to cost me well over $3000 for the same move, and that the dates were unavailable after calling back 4 hours later. They said that I had been misquoted and that the sales associate did not know what they were doing and the person on the phone said that they knew better.Seems like a high pressure bait and switch operation to me, clearly uninterested in doing fair business. Really disappointing and unprofessional. On one hand if they made a mistake, I get it. But a 3x difference in cost seems pretty unreasonable, and if their attention to detail in this part of the process is this sloppy, how will it be for the move? Ill take my business elsewhere.

The online process of getting a quote was easy and Sara got right back to me via email with the quote. Calling to confirm the move was also efficient and the customer service Sara provided was excellent. The day of the move, Dee, Jayshaun, and Jordien arrived on time, packed and handled our furniture with care, and were pleasant company. We were so lucky to have chosen such a great company with such hard workers.

Skylar and Tyler were great! They were fast but also very careful with my Moms furniture. They moved from a third floor apartment building (elevator) to my home (upstairs) and did an outstanding job! Did not protect my furniture and damaged/destroyed pieces of my furniture. Still dealing with their damage department. Lousy service. Im at least three thousand dollars out of damaged and destroyed property. Dont use this company if you can avoid it.

When calling to confirm the day before we were told the truck would arrive between a 9/9:30 window. When they did not show we called, they said we had been misinformed and that the window for our move was 1-3. At 2pm we called to check the status they told us appr. around 3:15pm arrival. They just called us back to say they would be here at 4pm. Would not recommend this company!!!!!

The movers were excellent. Thomas and Jamiem both worked well together and moved the office efficiently and with care. I did not have any worries about them handling the property. They wrapped and padded anything that may have needed extra cushioning. They were courteous and professional. The storage unit I rented was a tad on the small side, but this team was up to the challenge. It all fit inside with room to spare. I was totally satisfied. Horrible experience! Damage to walls, furniture, tore bottom off of a brand new mattress! Poor communication between staff and lack of knowledge of how to move furniture or stack boxes. They showed up on time and moved everything. They are getting 3 stars because they are pricey and because our dryer was broken when they delivered it to our new place. We are not professional movers and it would have been nice if they would have told us the drum needed to be locked down before we moved not after the dryer was broken.

I was disappointed that Two Men and a Truck did not give you a day-of contact number. I was told my movers would arrive between 11 and 4 but most likely between 11 and 1. I didnt hear from anyone until 4 p.m. that the movers would arrive at 4:30/4:45 p.m. It was really stressful to not know when the movers were arriving throughout the day - I tried calling every number I could find but the main office was apparently closed. Also, if I had known they were showing up at 5 p.m. I would have chosen a different moving date/company. The movers themselves were great and very professional. They were efficient as they could be with the move, and apologized for the delay even though it wasnt their fault. If you go with this company, I would recommend asking for a day-of contact so you can understand when exactly they are arriving...

These people are unprofessional. They move people into a house In the middle of the night and ignore noise ordinances for neighborhoods. They will wake you and your small children up in the middle of the night and then try to act like they are tough when you ask them to keep it down. I would never use this company. They might be decent movers but they have no respect for anyone.

They did phenomenal job to move our grand baby piano. When we arrived at the new house 3 hours away, it was dark and pouring rain. Our driveway was so slippery, we had some weather related situation, but they were extremely kind and professional and came out with perfect solutions! They unloaded the track, put our piano back beautifully. All items arrived whole and without scratch! We are so happy with our team, we ll use them again! Thank Santeel and your team!

Scheduling my move was extremely easy, the office called to confirm 3 days prior. The movers came on time, were very professional, friendly clean and made everything so easy. They finished the move within the quoted time so I didnt pay any more than expected. I would absolutely recommend them!

We had a big move in the Charleston area. Demetri and his team of movers got us boxed and moved with ease. Their work was thorough and expeditious. They took great care to protect fragile items, as well as all of our items. They were courteous, well-mannered and easy to talk to. We hired two men and a truck in North Charleston to move my wife from Charleston to Decatur Georgia where I had moved previously for my career. On my wife’s end in Charleston, the movers were polite but left wrapping and empty water bottles in both the apartment and also the landing outside which she had to clean up. Her jewelry box with all of her jewelry was locked and set aside apart from the items that were to be loaded. After the movers had completed loading and left, she discovered her jewelry box had been broken into. Fortunately all of her jewelry (including her engagement ring) was accounted for. It was obvious that the lock had been tampered with and the box broken into. On my end in Georgia, I was not given a delivery window. I had to leave work and then call the office to track down the movers. They arrived and had obviously been getting high prior to arriving as they reeked of weed. The same was the case on my wife’s end in Charleston. They took an inordinate amount of time to unload as texting between each trip to the truck took precedence over moving our belongings. While the young men were both polite, there was a lack of professionalism and any sort of urgency. We expected more for a $3,400 expense.

I would not hesitate to recommend this company and will use them when I need to move again.Scheduling was easy and staff provided timely and thorough responses to all my questions.The move itself went great the crew who helped were professional and courteous and took great care with all of our things. We were moving into a brand new house and they literally did not leave a mark.

My move consisted of moving items from a storage unit in Charleston, to a new apartment in Columbia, SC. The move was great, no complaints whatsoever! The guys took great care with my items, wrapping items that needed to be wrapped neatly, and taking care with loading/unloading. The completed job was somewhat less than the estimate I was given initially, so that was a plus in my book! Where do I begin? Complete sham team more focused on stretching payable hours than actually moving. From driving at a snails pace, to clocking time spent on their massive stack of paperwork, and ignoring all time-saving directions. Dont do it. Never again.

Called Two Men and a Truck to help move from one house to another. Each worker was very courteous and hard working. Each gentleman took specific care of each piece of furniture as well as took extreme caution when moving furniture down stairs. We experienced no damage to any of our furniture. This was our first time using this company and are so pleased that we will not use any other moving company again

Scratched my floor in my new home pretty good. They were asked politely more than once to not bring the dolly on the floors without using a blanket. They would carry large weight in on the dolly and then, set it down with the metal base on the floor and instead of taking items off the dolly they would kick their foot on the boxes and pull the metal dolly from underneath. This behavior scratched the floor multiple times. Very disappointed. I dont like to post reviews like this, but I reached out through a survey with the company directly and I was ignored. I would not use these moving company or recommend them to family or friends.

The two men that moved my stuff took way to long then needed. The move was from an apartment to a storage unit 5 minutes down the road. It was a 1-bedroom apartment with minimum furniture. Yes they have good reviews but be aware that they obviously have different people for each move. These two men obviously took advantage of the hourly rate. They spent at least 30 minutes outside my apartment “strapping down the stuff” in the truck and it was clearly already done, I was standing right there. Although the movers were friendly, please do not continue to waste time and my money by have a personal conversation while you’re slowly moving my stuff out. I have never left a review before, but this was beyond frustrating. I am only just now leaving this review because I am military and haven’t had the time since I left the area. Movers are just there for the money

Our moving team was great on the day of the move. Quick, efficient, hard workers, careful with our belongings. However, four days later we discovered that some irreplaceable bolts that belong to our antique pool table were missing. We contacted the office to see if they had mistakenly been left in the truck, and never heard back. 24 hours later we called again (after frantically searching literally everywhere late into the night and next day) and the office told us they had our bolts. They should have been doing whatever they could to get them to us, but in fact, they told us we couldn’t even pick them up. It has now been an additional four days and they won’t answer our phone calls and we still have not received our missing parts. This is outrageous! It’s time to call the police.

The crew was prompt, friendly and attentive.They arrived on time, we had 98% of our boxes packed, they came in and immediately started wrapping/prepping all of our couches, chairs, tables, dressers, etc. They expediently got everything prepped and then started loading. On the load out at the new house, they once again were extremely friendly and made sure everything made it into the correct room.Based on our experience, would HIGHLY recommend Two Men and Truck for your move!

My experience with two men and a truck was excellent. My two movers had great personalities and kept me and my mom laughing. They took great care of me and my furniture. It was well worth the money spent considering my other options. They were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently and arrived earlier than expected. From the start to when they finished, everything was wonderful! The ladies that helped set up the move were very nice and helpful. We had to make some changes in the date and they were more than happy to assist.The movers were on time and moved quickly. Both loading and unloading the truck. Will definitely use them again if needed.

They came on time, wrapped everything, made 3 stops including the original pick up and helped move furniture at the final destination. The experience of these helpful men was obvious especially when they were able to skillfully negotiate a 7 foot sofa through 2 narrow doors/and hallways. I have used this company 3 previous times and I would recommend them without hesitation.

It was the best experience I could have asked for. Our move was a disaster but the guys who came from two men and a truck were AMAZING! Super efficient, extremely helpful and polite! Wow. I can’t say enough nice things about my experience moving today using Two Men and a Truck. Its 2pm and I am done already! They were finished loading and unloading my whole house by NOON. I am sipping a Margarita right now, where in the past I wouldn’t have even finished loaded half of my boxes and I would have cried at least twice. I wish I had known about them years ago! I didn’t know that moving could be such a pleasant experience. They were worth EVERY PENNY. And not just because the move was so quick and professional. The customer service team deserves five stars too. I got a quote quickly and when I called back to book the appointment, I realized I had left my wallet at the other house and they were closing in 30 minutes. The ladies in the office WAITED for me to call back even though they were closing, because I had to book them right away so I could be moved before the first. I don’t know any other company with employees that would do that for me. The price was competitive although I felt I got a lot more from them than I would using another company. The guys shrink wrapped my furniture and I didn’t have to lift a finger. I couldn’t believe I didn’t have to do ANYTHING but watch. It was so awesome. Like I said... Wow!This was such a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who has to move. They didn’t just save me a lot of time, they saved my back and my sanity. I just needed a couple of people to help move some furniture in/out of the garage. They were charging by the hour but did everything in the time constraints with a smile.

My husband and I decided to use 2 Men and a Truck because of the courteous service and helpful information we received on the phone to get basic information about schedules and prices. The woman on the phone, whose name was Renee, took us room to room to see what needed moving and gave us a pretty much exact price.When the 3 movers came the morning of the 22nd of March, each was courteous, shook our hands and gave us their names. Very impressed. The movers were Derrick, Kareem and Brannon. During the entire move, these guys were hard working, polite, confident and courteous. They wrapped our belongingsand treated them with care.Very impressive young men and we would definitely use 2 Men and a Truck for future moves and will recommend them to family and friends!

Ive had the pleasure of working with Two Men & A Truck for my last 3 moves. The movers are always professional, courteous and considerate of their customers belongings. They also have an awesome work ethic that I dont see much of now-a-days. While theyre very careful with your belongings, theyre also quite fast/efficient and know exactly what theyre doing. If you stop them to ask a question, they stop and listen intently so that youre assured they will take what youre saying into consideration and make it happen if within their power! They dont waste time talking on their phones/just taking it easy/work slowly. These men hustle and they do a bang up job!! I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck. This is my second experience with them and again they were professional, efficient, and careful with my belongings. I requested the same team I used last year and they were just as good or even better. They arrived on time and immediately went to work. Had the furniture packed in the truck in 2 1/2 hours (3 Bedrooms) and were finished with unloading and putting things back together in under 6. They were pleasant to be around and very polite. Sasha in the local office was very accommodating. Moves arent fun but this team made the experience as good as one could expect.

I have moved numerous times in my life, but never has a move gone as smoothly and efficiently as this latest experience with Two Men and a Truck. The service I got was excellent. I had to change appointment several times due to delay in closing and they were very flexible and very nice to accommodate me. The two movers that worked my job were extremely nice and extremely helpful and I am so sorry I cannot remember their names but I hope you look it up and give them credit and appreciation for the job they did it was outstanding!!

Two Men and a Truck was wonderful to work with. I had to reschedule so many times due to delay in closing. They were so gracious to work with and never made me feel like I was a bother. They made the moving process go smoothly. They loaded everything up quickly and unloaded it even quicker (saved an hour and 15 min). I have majority unpacked and have not found a thing broken. The price estimate was pretty much right on. They gave me a low- high range and they came in on the low side. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with them.
