Austin was so kind and put the wipers I had bought on my car for me in the middle of a snowstorm when I didn’t know how to do it myself! The other store associate called across the street to help me get my oil changed. You guys have a customer and referral source here in Hampton for life. Thank you!
Had issues with my car battery and Austin went above and beyond to help me out. Purchased a replacement battery from another AutoZone location and was told they were too busy to help me change it out. Came to the North Hampton location and he gladly helped me out. Showed me the process of changing the old battery out and putting in the new one.
Yesterday I went into this Auto Zone looking for a battery for my Honda CRV key fob. I entered an empty store and heard only the voice of a young woman chatting on a phone somewhere behind the counter. I could not see her. I looked for another salesperson, saw no one, waited a,bit, and then said, Hello? Nothing. I waited 3 or 4 minutes, hearing only the sound of the womans chatter. Another young employee entered the store. I told him what I needed, he pointed me to a rack of batteries. I asked him which one I needed for my Honda. He said he didnt know. I told him I would check the auto parts business down the street in Hampton.I then drove 2 minutes to Fisher Auto Parts in Hampton. I walked in, was immediately greeted by a personable gentleman. I told him what I needed. He got the proper battery, put it in my fob, made sure it worked on my car, and told me the price of the battery. It was markedly less expensive than the Auto Zone one. I also bought an extra battery. In under 4 minutes I left Fisher Auto Parts a highly-satisfied customer.

There about 6 months ago after car trouble on the highway.Helpful counterman, but not very knowledgeable without plugging the scan tool into the computer and giving us a bunch of canned responses of the 1/2 dozen problems that could have been.If you are going in there for parts, go in with more info than you think theyll need, because the computer is going to give them generic responses of how to help you
Ken is personable and very helpful. I got a new battery replaces under warranty and the whole process took less than 15 minutes.
I went into this store today, usually I know exactly what I want and where to ge it. So, I rarely need help. But, today I needed help finding a lic plate bulb that was not in the book. I waited at the only register where an employee was. I waited patiently for him to finish whatever he was doing on the computer and then 2 men came in and the gentleman employee helped both men before me. He never even looked at me. Thats when I decided to speak up and say excuse me, you just helped 2 MEN who cut in front of me and completely ignored me. The only thing he said to me was youre at the commercial desk. Well, hello, you are the only one here. I completely felt discriminated against because Im a woman. This employee I see works there everyday but no name tag or I wouldve called corporate. Shame on him and the company. I will never go back to this store and will be very vocal to friends and family about my experience. I truly hope someone from corporate sees this and takes action.*update* my husband tells me hes the manager.

They have any part you need and theyre open on weekends if they dont have usually they can get it next day, they also have great service.

*EDIT- The regional Manager personally called me to apologize and said I should go back to the store to complete the return. That interaction was incredibly friendly, the staff present at that time expressed their apologies at the whole situation and restored my confidence in that store.(Original) Had a super rude experience. I needed to swap out a mismatched sized wiper blade and the person that day, said, Sure just grab the one you need I asked if he needed to do it in the register for inventory, and he said No, youre fine. I went home and installed the blade. When I hit rain I realized that the blade was defective. It smeared right through the vision line. I had to buy a new blade somewhere else as I was mid way through a road trip. I went back to return the defective blade and because the transaction was not recorded I was basically accused of scamming them. The manager happened to be at the register and said sure he could refund me. IF I had the proper receipt. I explained how the other employee did not handle the transaction properly, and he was continually rude. I asked if I could at least trade for a replacement that might not be defective, and again he said Yes IF you had the proper receipt. In my frustration and upset I left the blade there, and realize I should have taken it back and dealt directly with Duralast. I will certainly NOT be using this Autozone again.
