Ive been relying on Max BMW for over 10 years to keep my bikes in top shape. They always offer good prices but fast service is essential when the bike is disassembled waiting for that One Part. Huge Inventory means one-stop-shopping as they have always had every part I needed, even for older bikes.

In the last couple of year, Ive ordered multiple items from MAX BMW like gloves, navigator 6, top-case and miscellaneous. Items arrived on time packed and wrapped nicely. In general prices are in-line with other BMW dealers with occasional special sales on particular style or inventory.

I was in need of some very obscure parts for a 1996 R1100 GS. I contacted two local BMW dealers and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for delivery. I’m not certain if MAX BMW actually had them in stock or if they dug a little deeper to find them for me. This order was to make up for the failure of another vendor and what a difference in service, which is what we are really paying for. The shipping company is reimbursing me, but what stands out is I made one call to Max, talked to Russ, and explained what happened. A duplicate order was quickly processed and is on its way. Recently ordered parts. You deal with an apparent fake person called Francis that would not respond to any Emails. After ordering parts you are asked to provide feedback on your order as they „truly value your business and strive to constantly improve, we want to hear from you.“ The feedback link provided gets you right back to the Onlineshop. An interesting interpretation of truly valuing business - the more the merrier - might work for others.Anyways, if you know what you need, you have no questions, and just want a transaction to be completed decently fast, go for it! However, you could also go with a dealer that does both: actually valuing customers and fulfillment of orders.

MAX BMW is the Northeast Mecca of the BMW riding community. I have purchased bikes, received service, and purchased parts and riding gear from MAX. I dare say there is no better staff anywhere. Every person there is a knowledgeable professional. They are all really into riding and never think you will leave there without striking up great conversation. I typically bank at least an hour just to chat with those guys. Prices for some parts and gear are nicely discounted. Their selection of gear is good considering how much it cost them to stock what they have. I will go no where else for service as their mechanics are top tier. This is one place I dont mind spending my hard earned dollars

Found what I was looking for and MAX sent my order quickly. Got DVD repair manual and MAX had them available--no waiting for shipment from Germany. Also got some BMW brand gloves (GS Dry Gloves) with the new Gore-Tex Gore-Grip. They are my current favorite pair for Fall-Winter-Spring.

Experience was good, little slow on updates and arrive with no notice, this was not necessarily bad save we have a thief in the neighborhood and so we like to be there for our packages. Order was easy, arrived on time. My only criticism is that I mistakenly thought that brake pads came in sets of 2. Not so and anyone ordering 1 brake pad is obviously making a mistake and should be questioned by the person filling the order. On the upside what I thought was a worn and very uneven wear at that apparently is the way it comes new and my pads were only about 10% worn.

I ordered 2 clear rear signal lens for my 2016 bmw k1300s to replace the yellow/amber lens on the bikeWhen I opened the package they shipped me the yellow/ amber instead now I have 4 yellow lens so I went to eBay and ordered the clear lens again thru a different vendor I’ll see what happens when I receive the package 📦 😊

Service is great, online experience in frustrating. Package arrived in the time frame I requested - (Thank you for holding it).Not thrilled with how the luggage came with zero instructions on how to open it without keys (top case). I believe there is additional parts inside the top case but I cant get into it to confirm so I still do not know if the order is complete.The luggage arriving without lock-sets was a surprise. I get it now that I should have purchased it with the luggage.I attribute confusion about the keys to a poor website design which Ive already called about. I found the web site extremely hard to navigate and purchase from.Problems I ran into with your site:Shifting Terminology. The site uses different terms for similar items, I found this problem when trying to purchase the luggage, the liners and Im finding the same problem now with the key sets (Ill be calling to order the keys). Im no expert but it should be easier to purchase the items that go together and make a kit, in stead of hunting for each one and hoping you have it correct because this side the site calls a bag and the other side the site calls a liner etc.. Confidence you have the correct item may seem second nature if your familiar with the site, but I could have been ordering the wrong liner or case for all I knew (because the same item was being called something differnet). For simpletons like me,I recommend three separate part numbers for top, left and right luggage Kits which include the case, liner and key-set.No line item sub totals: I think a subtotal of the item on the order line showing a total for that item would be more useful than repeating the item price. (or add a column and have them both). I think this would help purchasers prevent the ordering two of the same item. (like I did)Hope this makes sense, good luck with it.Regards, Shaun Sullivan

I have always had prompt service and shipment from MAX BMW Motorcycles. I have been buying parts for my R1200RT and my R1200C. In terms of service, my most recent order was no exception. The parts were shipped and arrived promptly. Placing the order, however, was a little more difficult than in the past. They have changed the method by which you access the microfiche to view the categories and parts you might want, and it makes the whole process more difficult, tedious, and time-consuming.
