Pleased beyond words! My expectations are always high, but tempered by the reality that most contractorss commitment to quality equates to meeting the margin. However, Sunroom Systems delivered and then some. In my experience, it is very rare to find a contractor that cares about the quality, detail and the service provided to their customers. I solicited six estimates, for what I considered to be a major financial undertaking, the construction of a Sunroom enclosure and a 20x12 insulated patio cover. Given this was such a significant investment, I took the time to educate myself on the various materials, construction methods and codes prior to bringing anyone in. During the estimate process, I found a lot of the former car salespersons, who came to give me an estimate, could not answer basic questions about the materials to be used or the building codes pertaining to my project. The responses would swing wildly from one person to the next. After several weeks of estimates, I tentatively decided to go with one of the larger more established companies. Then I received a call from Joe Rinaldi at Sunroom Systems. I was just about to tell him I had chosen someone, when I thought to myself why not see what he has to offer. When I met Joe, it was readily apparent, the man knew his stuff and some. He answered every question definitively and discussed things I had never considered, and he explained why they were essential to the successful completion and long term satisfaction with my project. More importantly, I just had a really good vibe about Joe. As a former Peace Officer, I have been exposed to some of the best cons and BSers in the state. However, I had no such feeling with Joe, but I have been wrong before. Joe submitted the most detailed and comprehensive estimate of all the competitors, some of which were hand written on graph paper. He also provided 3D renderings of what the project would look like. I decided to go with Joe after a due diligence vetting of his contractors license, BBB accreditation and other essentials. His estimate was not the cheapest, but by far was not the most expensive. What I perceived in going with Joe, was value. I could tell Joe took a great deal of pride in the work he did and the reputation it brought him. For me that is something you do not find with companies that deal in volume. I dont like dealing with the layers of sales people and office assistants. I want to deal directly with the owner and have access and responsiveness when I need it. Joe was on site 90% of the time and always returned calls or texts within an hour if not immediately. Joe worked at what he considered a slow pace. However, I felt the project moved along quickly with no complications. Upon completion of the project, it is clear, Joe Rinaldi is a Patio cover and Sunroom savant. The look of my backyard completely transformed. The Patio cover and Sunroom are absolutely gorgeous. The quality and attention to detail went well beyond expectations. I have friends who work construction and came away very impressed with what they saw. Moreover, the building inspector who performed the final inspection also commented glowingly about the quality of the work. Prior to beginning construction, Joes foreman Chris, (who is awesome in his own right) told me he approaches every project as if he were building it for himself, and he did. My only complaint is, I ended up going 2k over my budget due to some aesthetic enhancements my wife wanted, after seeking suggestions from Joe. However, Im not mad, the enhancements took the project to the next level and I am extremely pleased. Overall, working with Joe and his crew was a great experience. If you are looking for someone who is honest and possesses the experience and ability to build your project the right way, you cannot go wrong with Sunroom Systems.
