This Firestone is right on target with customer service. They seem to work as a well oiled team that takes care of the customer from initial quote to out the door. If I am in need of service this is where I will go. The guy at the counter (Danny) is a big asset to Firestone. He does everything to make you feel helped with your auto needs. Twice now Firestone has been extremely below par, this is now two separate locations. The first misdiagnosed my vehicles blow head gasket, this time they called the wrong number to inform someone else about the condition on my vehicle and that there was nothing they could do. But they tried nothing to inform me of this and now I’m 3 days set back on my repair.

Just called to see how much they would charge to remove 2 stripped starter bolts out of an engine thats already pulled out and broke down on a stand and all I got was sorry, thats just something I really dont want to doUm, Im sorry but isnt this your job? Its not like I was asking to do it for free, I was trying to see how much it would cost. Will never go here and will do my best to dissuade anyone I know who tries.

I had an Uber inspection done at Firestone. They were very thorough and checked my cabin filter which needed replacing. In and out in no time. Great folks to deal with. Thanks,eh?

Employees damaged my car..put 10lbs to much air in tires...ask to speak to a manager was told no managers were there...was told I didnt have an appointment..after fighting with them for 15 mins. They found my appointment..payed for alignment...they didnt align my car ..rear was out of toe..employees was disrespectful. Had to keep reminding them they was talking to a customer...been a customer for50 yrs....no more..went to GOODYEAR NEXT DAY ..they fixed it right..no problems

This place is horrible. I am handicapped and 150 miles from home. I had a tire that was going flat. They said they did not have time to ug it. Instead, they told me I could go to the church parking lot and change it. Terrible!!

They do not know the difference between GBWR (10100 lbs) and curb weight (under 8000 lbs.) and would not service our Dodge 3500 because their lift has a limit of 10000 lbs. There was no way our truck weighed too much. I would not trust them to service anything when they are ignorant about such a basic fact.

I was tire spiked by police in Charleston SC by police by accident, too late to find open tire store. Went home and called the Firestone down the street from where I live. Firestone got me a great deal on two tires, I asked while there check out front make sure no other damage from spikes. They found while looking I was almost metal to metal on front brakes, they were able to get what my car needed fast and had me in and out. Really stopped me from getting stranded with no brakes, Im glad they looked and informed me. The Manager Randy straight up guy and honest, I got to see the issue for myself as they told me what the car needed. Really nice staff and mechanic, everyone was great.!!!

Very professional. I arrived at 8 am on a Sunday with a hole in a tire. They took my car in immediately, fixed it for a very reasonable price and I was on my way. Made some other suggestions that were great. Also gave me a great quote on some new tires for the future. Ill go back.

Update 11/4/19: After leaving the review and talking to a corporate representative, I was contacted by the owner of this location. He was very polite and asked me to give them a chance to make the repairs to my vehicle and earn back my business. I decided to give one more chance. They did make all of the proper repairs, and more than a week after picking my car up, I am now having no issues. I appreciate the professionalism of the owner and having the mistakes fixed at no charge.10/27/2019: I’ve now brought my car in 3 times, and every time it leaves in worse condition than I brought it.The first time, I brought it in for repairs to the wheel bearings and to fix some other issues and get an oil change. A few weeks later, the car was making a noise while driving that it hadn’t made before. I brought it in to be repaired again.Then, it started making a different noise. My family noticed as I was driving that the plastic panel under the engine was hanging. There had never been anything wrong with it before.I was about due for an oil change again, so I brought it in and asked if they could please fix the panel while they were doing the oil change. They didn’t have time that day, which was understandable because I didn’t make an appointment. So the next day when I went to pick the car up, I paid and went out to the car to notice the piece still hanging! I went back inside and apparently the crew was going to “leave it that way because that’s how it came in”. They fixed it and I picked it up.Now 2 weeks later, I have 3 lights including the check engine light on, my car is making a noise, and the panel fell back off. I also noticed they didn’t even offer to change my windshield wiper in terrible condition, so I’m guessing their included “19 point inspection” is not being completed.I don’t want to take it back to them because I feel like they are just lowering the value of my car by hacking at it every time they touch it.

From out of town and noticed a problem with a tire on my truck. These guys were open at 6pm and quickly sold me a tire at a reasonable price. I found them to be honest, helpful, and efficient. Boy did I luck out!

I ordered 4 tires online. The company I ordered from said that Firestone would install them and they were listed on their web site as the authorized installer. They shipped the tires to Firestone. I called Firestone and they claimed they did not receive the tires, when I told them who had signed for them, they then admitted they had them. I tried to set up an appointment for installation and was told they could not install them because I had a GMC Savanna Van. They said it was too heavy for their lift. I can understand this, but I am a mechanic, and they could use a floor jack. They just didnt want to do the job. I would not recommend this Company for anything!

I trust and rely on Firestone especially the staff at North Myrtle Beach, SC location. The kind, courteous professionalism never fails! They have been servicing my vehicles for many years and always consider my needs as a customer. I always leave very satisfied!

I have never had such wonderful service from an auto shop! That means a lot since I am very reserved with my expectations. They were very professional and listened to my needs and concerns. I will never use Firestone again. I set a appointment 2 days in advance for a diagnosis and was told it would be three hours max. Four and half hours later I was finally contacted. Their tech told me nothing I didnt already know and was telling me my evap system had something to do with my knock sensors. Then tried to charge me over 300 dollars to put on a oil pressure sensor. Absolutely absurd what they want for the smallest jobs and clearly did not know what they were talking about. I highly recommend Glenns Bay Automotive in Surfside Beach. Fair pricing and knowledgeable.

This place has no concept of what an appointment is for. Twice, I have been there at my appointed hour and twice they have been over an hour before even starting to work on my car. So plan to stay a long time with these people

Friendly,helpful team! My mom had her car there because she hit something in the road and messed her rim and new tire up! They suggested we go to a pick and pull to get rim because of new rim cost! Car sat for 1 hour + past appointment with out anyone coming to tell me they were running behind. Saw my car in spot while stretching my legs and thought it was done. No such luck. Had to ask what was going on..So besides the extra hour wait time while having an appointment....everything else seems ok. Had coupons for tires and other services. I understand stuff goes wrong and it piles up, just come let people know. Besides that good.

Had a flat on the way to North Myrtle Beach, didn’t want to go home without a spare. Made an appointment online for Sunday afternoon, dropped off the truck and picked it up a few hours later, couldn’t have asked for it to be any easier.

Waited 2 days to get a tire fixed. When I dropped it off in the MORNING of day 1, there was 10 cars in front of me, I came to get something out of my car on day 2, just before lunch, and there was still 8 cars in front of me! Makes no sense. I ended up just taking it and bringing it to another location (the other Firestone in Myrtle- MUCH better!) can you believe they had it done within an hour. Would not come to this location for anything ever again.

On vacation and I noticed that there was a piece of metal sticking out of my tire. Didnt want to take the chance since I had to drive almost 4 hours home. Walked in, they were able to work me in, and discovered that the metal hadnt penetrated the tire. They topped off my tires and sent me on my way with no charge. I really appreciated their professionalism and honesty!

Locals consider this shop to have best price on tire repair. I had a flat tire that needed a fast repair. Price was less than $21, but had to wait 2 and a half hours. The repair is still good after an 8 hour drive of over 600 miles at speeds up to 80 mph!

I ran over a nail that destroyed one of my tires. They were very close to needing replacement I called Firestone and was able to get in immediately. I told the service manager how much I was able to spend and he provided me with a set of tires within my price range plus $100 rebate. We are very happy with the service

I was told to be nice. 😆.. Well my appt was at 3.. Got there 30 min early.. Got out after 630.. Over 3 hours.. Just to put on tires.. You would think I was having a major overhaul..They close at 6 too.. They were backed up n having issues.. The next time just leave your vehicle there n let them call you when its ready...I was nice..

I deal with Alex and other service underwriters and they are greatI have never had to go back for the samething. They repair your car the first time correctly and treat you like family. I highly recommend them.

Went in for an oil change today, my father does (well did) business there a lot and has for many years so he recommended them. Service was fine and a few hrs later they called me back when it was finished. $134 for a synthetic oil change for my Volvo. What else can I say ? My car is 8 years old and Firestone NMB you now hold the record for most expensive oil change I or anyone else has ever heard of. My fault, should have asked before I dropped it off. Live and you learn. As you can imagine I wouldn’t recommend for an oil change, price gouging is a term that comes to mind ( I did accidentally say I was from out of town over the phone) and needless to say next time I’m in town again and need an oil change, Firestone will not be the place I head too. Let me repeat $134 for an synthetic oil change.

Great mechanics friendly staff, had a routine oil change and air filter replacement at this location. The staff was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Prices were fair.

I used to rate this store very highly and recommend it to friends. But, after today being severely gouged on price and being treated as though my business was a burden on their time, I can no longer of good conscience recommend this store to anybody. I cannot express deeply enough the disappointment in what this once good service center has become. I dont know if they have had a change of management or if its just a general sense of apathy towards the customer. But, I will no longer darken their doorstep and would recommend to anybody, that if you are looking to get your vehicle worked on, you keep looking past this place.

Got here at 10:30 am and its 4:40 pm and they still havent gotten to my car to put brakes on the front. The price is ridiculous $350.00 and dont have a choice but to pay it because were on vacation. Telling me I need stuff done that was just replaced. I have brand new tires 1 month old and their saying I need them replaced asap. I did not recommend this place!!!!

I just wanted to say how well we have been treated at this Firestone. On two separate occassions they have come to our rescue while here on vacation. Their customer service has been excellent, they couldnt have been more accomodating to us. Thank you for making sure our cars were road ready for our long trip home. It was VERY MUCH appreciated!!!

My truck was hit by a drunk driver while on vacation from NY. I needed a tire replaced and they were able to order it and have it the next day. They called me. I went over and they had it replaced in less than a half hour. Jay helped me at the desk and Scott did the work both guys were great and I couldnt ask for better service. Thanks for helping my family get back to NY safely.

I was in town for bike week and the alternator went out on my car. Called early the next morning and was able to get my car in and fixed in a very timely and inexpensive manner. I was very pleased with the service and I highly recommend these guys

This location used to be great but along with a lot of personnel changes up front something changed for the worse about a year ago.

My daughter was in Myrtle Beach preparing for a new job after the first of the year, when the starter on her VW Beetle failed. The people at this location were very professional and easy to work with, and were able to acquire the part and get her back on the road. A mechanic worked overtime in order to get her car completed so that she wouldnt be stranded, which would have required me to make two 160 mile round trips to get her, and then go back to get the car. We will definitely be seeing them in another month or two, after she moves down there, to get new tires on her car! I highly recommend this store.

Words cannot express how substandardly I was treated by Michelle there. Went in for a drama free oil change. She said my card was closed or inactive. Wrong, It is open, with ample limit !! She was adverse to taking my credit card, or calling credit to check. Then, she tried to tell me I had not been in Firestone since 2008. Really ? Wrong, Michelle !! I was a VIP customer when I spent over $1,000 in 12 months, 2013/14. I had bought tires in 2014, and within the last 2 to 3 years, 2017. She argued me into the ground. Mocked me, maamed me to death, even highlighted the receipt, to prove she was right,- that I had not been there since 2008. I told her straight in her face. I have a great memory, and how dare you tell me I do not know my last car and repairs. She was SOO wrong.She also lied to me, when I asked to have a quick look at my brakes. It said free inspection on the huge poster there, and online. But, she deceptively told me she had to charge me !!!! Wrong again !! Free, see on your wall, and online ! Apparently, Michelle could not see my other customer profile on the computer. Why not, and why two of them ? I was SOO right, wow, the rudest customer service experience EVER from Firestone. If she hates her job and customer service that much, time to reassess !! Michelles cantankerous attitude and uninformed stance ruined my entire day. Of course, the store manager was off that day !! UNBELIEVABLE . Been going to Firestone for years. Will try other locations.

Sister tore a tire while on vacation here so we needed to get a new tire right away. Called everywhere and they did not have her tire size. Called here and the lady on the phone said they have it but they can’t replace it until Tuesday which is 3 days away. So we call another place and they said they would change it for us if we bring the tire. So we call firestone and ask the lady to put the tire on hold and that we d be on our way. Drove all the way there with the car and she tells us she can’t find it. Doesn’t seem apologetic at all. She tries calling another firestone telling us we prob have to drive there to pick it up if they have it. Had us wait 20 min to see if they have it. They don’t. So much time and energy could’ve been saved if she had just confirmed to see if the tire was there. And the fact that they couldn’t do anything to help us was total BS... now we are at Payless and the guy said the best he could do for us is give us a diff tire that will allow my sister to get back home safely. Go to Payless. They actually care about ur situations.

Very honest. I have used them repeatedly. Very qualified. They stand behind their warrantee. When my tire got a flat in their garage (went in for another reason) they gave me a new tire instead of fixing my old one. Excellent personal treatment for a number of years now.

We had a nail stuck in one our car tires on vacation. Not knowing if it severely damaged the tire or not, we went to Firestone. They pulled it out and assessed the tire in just a few minutes. Since the nail didnt do any damage, there was no charge! And we got a free souvenir nail. Nice to know there are still some great hardworking guys in the world.

We were leaving Myrtle Beach to go back to Delaware and our tire pressure light came on it was 630 on a Friday night. I searched tire repair on Google and this Firestone came up with good ratings I called and Dennis Who answered the phone said to come on in I got there at 6:45 they close at seven and they took me in and found A large nail in my tire working overtime on a Friday night so that we could get home. If they did not help us we would have had to stay and get the tire fixed the next day. A customer came in after me with the same issue and they helped them out as well. Very courteous and professional thank God they were open and I found them when I did. Thank you Dennis you were very kind to us at a stressful time

Just called 30 minutes before closing time to get a tire patched and was told no. They wouldnt even try. We are traveling through town with a child, plus Im 32 weeks pregnant and its inconsiderate for those out of state traveling to be refused service. So my husband went to Auto Zone to purchase a patch kit and fix it himself. I would understand if it was 5 minutes before closing, but my husband has been a service advisor for a tire and auto repair shop for more than 5 years and would have never told someone traveling that he wouldnt try to squeeze them in.

Scheduled an appointment got there was treated very rudely and they were frustrated they had to do tires at 330 on a Saturday. After seeing how frustrated they were to do my truck I decided its best I go get my tires done somewhere where the attitudes are better. No is going to be comfortable letting angry techs take apart their car. No thanks

I was worried something may be wrong with my Jetta because I speed and have hit one too many pot holes. My father recommended Firestone instead of the dealership because we all know how long and how much that would cost!! I called early in the morning and was greeted and welcome to bring my car in anytime that Saturday. At the podium Garrett glade helped me get my car in right away to mechanic, Frazier. They kept me updated the whole time which was quite fast, within an hours time. Turns out the only thing wrong with my car was needing a little air in my tires. 21.99 later for a full walk through and test drive. The employees are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. And for the price, I will come back again before my overly expensive dealership. Thank you Garrett, Fraizer and the Firestone team for helping Quentin Mario (my car) and reassure me that he is fine. Went this morning Sunday July 9 had lock but on my tire and would not come off Frazier went go the max to get my tire fixed very dedicated employee, go to Firestone he will take care of you.

Starter failed on my car the first day of our vacation. Firestone had our car fixed within 24 hours. Great service and very reasonable rates.

IMO, this is the most trustworthy auto repair place in the area.

Was in Myrtle Beach on family vacation, on way there had a flat due to road conditions because of heavy rains. In Myrtle Beach, Matt did a great job taking care of me. It was a special order tire, and a little trouble getting it in, but he kept me in touch. As soon as it came in he called me and got me in immediately to get me off my spare. We were able to continue our vacation. Thank you Firestone and Matt.

Wife was in Myrtle Beach for a conference and had a flat tire. I called from NC. Randy was extremely helpful in coordinating a tow truck to pick up the car and they replaced all 4 tires on a Sunday. Very appreciative!

Over the years I have used this Firestone numerous times. It continues to be a constant service issue. You must plan days in advance to get any repair services done. Once you actually get there it takes hours and hours to get anything done. There is no pep in the step here. Unless you can conveniently tell your altenator when to stop working or tire when to go flat, I would not suggest going here. I would rather deal with Walmart and know that I could get timely service then to ever go here again. #nomoreofmymoney

Customer Service was bad. Horrible!! They didnt seem to want to help me. All I wanted was a tire change (I had the spare) for my Porsche Boxster S. I had the spare tire They didnt have any tire to fit my car, new. Ok. But why such a piss poor attitude.Dennis P was his name, this man was actually grinding his teeth, because I asked what is my tire size? So I can order my tire from another tire company. His reply: What the gentleman said earlier: so he walks over to the computer shaking his head grinding his teeth. God forbid I ask this man to order it for me. He continued shaking his head and grinding his teeth. At simple questions that I asked. This is unacceptable. I am a guest with a flat and just trying to get help.The Manager here, was awesome. He was very nice and actually did his job and helped me. And ordered my tire and even gave me a taxi nunber to call. He was very nice.

I picked this place while in town because it had good reviews. The people are polite and professional and the service was quick. HOWEVER, it seems I got the out-of-towner charge! $61 for an oil change and tire rotation is excessive, even for this WashingtonDC area girl. Id be hesitant to recommend them to my extensive OIB & SB family. 7/9/18- FYI my local Firestone (Winchester, VA) charges me approx $33 for an oil change and tire rotation.
