Bought 2 ink cartridges 2 weeks ago. They had limited cartridges then. Went back today and had the same inventory. (Not the one I needed) Was told about a shortage. No signs stating a shortage in department. Got on Amazon and having an ink cartridge delivered tomorrow.
Great customer service! I was in town for a working vacation of sorts and forgot my laptop power cord. Office Depot opens at 0800 so I called them first thing this morning. The fellow who answered the phone helped me find a universal power cord that would work and then held it for me until I could get to the store later that morning. Super people!!!
Visited North Myrtle Beach Office Depot to purchase a ink cartridge for my HP LaserJet printer only to be told that I had to come back the next day because they were closing. It was 7:50 and the store closes at 8pm. How long does it take to pay for an ink cartridge? This is absolutely ridiculous if your hours say you are open until 8pm you shouldn’t tell people that you are closed at 7:50 and that they will have to come back the next day. I had already driven over 30 minutes to get to the store. I will never shop at this Office Depot again. The employees use to be really helpful at this store but something has changed. Higher management really need to investigate the management at this store.
I dont usually write reviews, but dishonesty is where I put my foot down! I took my laptop computer into Office Depot because it was closest to where I work to get it worked on. My laptop died on me during the weekend and I needed it repaired. Someone from Office Depot called me and said that my computer was completely dead and to fix it they would have to send it to central command and it would be cheaper to buy a new computer. Somehow I didnt believe that and picked it up and took it to a local person who fixed the battery for a massive $40.I understand a business has to make money and that up sale is an important part of a corporate business. That part I get. However to flat out lie and say that a computer is unrepairable to sell a new computer is just flat out dishonest.While Im writing this review, Im writing it on the computer Office Depot said was unrepairable.
Here I am out of town at the beach. Needed a booklet printed and so envelopes. I loaded the files online and found the booklet feature SO easy to use. Looked great online. Then gave this location a call to see if it would REALLY take until the next day. No worries there, they did a great job, contacted me with a question and brought it out to my car the same day. Lovely experience, keep up the great work. Thanks so much!
I see a lot of bad review of this place, most of them recent. Its funny that none of these people seem to realize with COVID there were a lot of changes and places are short staffed.Prices are high but thats expected out of brick and mortar stores.There is always someone in Copy and Print so if people are complaining of not finding people theyre lying and just didnt go ask for help.
So incredibly disappointed in their online ordering and same day delivery service. 5 hours later, I still do not have the order I was to receive between 8-9 this morning. 2 different customer service reps from their corporate office are telling me the courier is on the way with it from the store and when I contacted the store they’re saying because of an “issue” with their printer not being able to print the “ticket” my order is still sitting on the shelf. The actual Office Depot store rep says I have to now come and get my order at the front desk. Even after I paid for same day delivery. The girl at the store then had the audacity to tell me I have to come in and get it because it wasn’t listed at curbside pickup. Really?? This isn’t the first time this has happened. Lesson learned. May I suggest you order elsewhere and save yourself a lot of time and hassle.
If you have the option to go someplace else take it. Went in there for some business cards I needed them the next day the girl at the counter said they would be ready that day by 7 and they would text me. I didn’t make it over there by 7 so I decide to just wait till the next morning I awoke to an email that was sent at 3 am saying my order was not completed. I spoke to a Mike the next morning and he was less than helpful and offers no real solution.
I am in here shopping for a printer for our business and the store manager, Alex, told me she was too busy to help me or send someone to help me find a printer because they are “short staffed.” She seemed stressed and Incapable of doing her job as store manager. Will not shop here for my business ever again.
I had a printer issue... purchased from this store and extended warranty. The printer whacked out on me and when the warranty company gave me the run-around, Jesse was very helpful in assisting me with a solution. Easy and great customer service. I wouldnt hesitate to purchase from this store in the future. Thank you!

I walked into this store looking for business cards, misc items for my business. I was greeted by Ralph Kreuger. I walked out with all my questions answered, a computer monitor, highlighters, pens, chair, printer, and docking station. He is by far the best Customer Service Manager, I have ever come across in a store. Very helpful, positive, and kind. He made my experience enjoyable!
Great staff. Ive been a regular customer for many years. Large parking lot. The copy service is reliable. You can easily drop off or get served online with the office depot app. Store has specials and sometimes discounts in their weekly flyer.
Your store says face coverings now required, but the young lady behind the print counter had hers hanging off her ear while speaking directly in the face of a customer, not even 12 away. So which is it?I have used this Office Depot for all my supplies and printing needs, but it is so understaffed these days, even before the pandemic.
Worst customer service ever. Ordered telehealth equipment online to be picked up in one hour. Arrived at store and was told that even though they had the items in the store that I would have to wait until the afternoon to have the product. Hygiene was not good. Not practicing social distancing and employee actually took my personal phone to look at it and then handed it back. Saw no hand sanitizers or anything resembling basic public health standards being followed. Left store with no equipment only to cancel telehealth sessions for afternoon. I can’t imagine that they didn’t want to sell me over a 1000.00 worth of equipment that they had in stock... but apparently that is what they wanted to happen. I will order online from a different company. Insane.
The man was very helpful when I came in for replacement ink. Ended up buying an HP printer so I could do HP ink. He was helpful
Theyre always super friendly time you walk in the door and service is offered and rendered quickly, the staff is just pleasant
Clean store. Has all I need, as far as office supplies, and service is good in print shop. Checkout can get backed up sometimes from customer questions and requests, but overall efficient staff that seems knowledgeable as to electronics and supplies.

I was shopping for some furniture when I encountered Leanne Daniels, whose business card IDs her as a Funiture Consultant. Well, she is more than a consultant with her pleasurable personality and her outstanding customer service. She answered all questions and had definitely great patience with me as I browsed the displays. Normally, I would not prefer consistent customer intervention, but she made it so easy and actually guided me to my final purchase. Great customer service and natural ability in helping and making a purchase. Office Depot better keep this lady ... just overall pleasure to deal and talk with and so accommodating .Definitely will be back and now know who to consult at this store location. Im in the management end of service with my position, and outstanding customer service needs to be rewarded. AAA+++ **Cortez was also a wonderful person to work with at this location. Has great character traits and customer service skills. Overall, a wonderful experience Office Depot !! Give them a look... good prices and backed by great customer service.
Drove an hour round trip for a print job, and got back and they had only printed 3 of the 6 pages I needed...this store is garbage never go there, please put them out of business everyone. So angry right now, thanks a lot you freaking jerks.
The Tech Depo in Office Depo is wonderful, the techs are very knowelageble and courtious and helpful. I will always go there for electronics and service
Standing here for 10 min. Not one person behind the counter has said a word to me. My order was placed and paid for hours ago and I am just here to pick it up. Kinda pi SS Ed off!!! Spend your money somewhere else. If my staff treated customers like this I would fire them on the spot. Bad service.

When having sale, 1/2 items are NEVER RESTOCKED. Been there twice this month for particular sales items as was told well, were sold out. Most items are too expensive-ended up @ Quill for paper.
I walked in the store asked for printer ink and the girl said its right there. Well it was a bunch of empty boxes so I said the boxes are empty could you help me? I stood there and waited 15 minutes while they stared at me and nobody came to help me. I buy for a company that spends about $10,000 a year in office supplies, not one penny will ever go back to this store.
