Great PGA Superstore. As always, Golf and accessory selection is unbelievable. Just as importantly, for me, an avid tennis player, the selection of tennis rackets, shoes and accessories is also impressive. You can demo rackets for 3 days at no cost.
I love the PGA store! This is the main reason I come to Myrtle Beach! Theres such a great variety of everything! ⛳🏌🏻♀️🏌🏻🏌🏻♂️
Got fitted for a new set of irons. Curtis was really helpful, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer my questions, give feedback on my swing, and ultimately suggest the best sets for me. AND the fitting service was free. I’ll be back to get fitted for my next driver and putter soon and would highly recommend for others.
Curtis worked with me on new irons what a great honest guy very patient didnt try to over sell me irons . They need more workers like him I will be going back for my new driver and woods . After I get my wife happy again... Lol 5 star service..
Good place to look at all the latest golf equipment and accessories. One of my favorite places to visit. Friendly staff to allow you to hit the latest clubs. Thank you..⛳⛳⛳⛳⛳
Absolutely the worst customer service after the sale. Ordered a new set of irons from the store and after 3 weeks nothing. Not even a tracking number. Call the customer service number to find out any information on my order and a recording states they are experiencing a high call volume. After about a five minute hold it then ask for you to leave a message and we will call you back in the order it was received. Been a few days now and nothing. They are the nicest people when it comes time to place the order but once you pay your totally forgotten about. If I could give zero stars I would. If I knew this was gonna happen I wouldve spent my money elsewhere.Update: Received an email from the owner stating they have sent me a separate email in regards to my order. Funny how I never received that email they are talking about. Like I said customer service what customer service.
I had an appointment yesterday at 12pm. Apparently my instructor was unavailable which is understandable, things happen sometimes. I was told by one fellow that they had tried to call me, but who answers calls from numbers they dont know anymore? A text or email makes more sense. I did receive an email notification of cancelation at 12:08, after I had already arrived. Was told to wait until 1230 in a particular area of the store until the next instructor could see me. At about 12:55 I was greeted by the next instructor who didnt seem to be aware that I was on the schedule. He was nice, quickly gave me a few pointers and didnt charge me. One star is for Mr. Sludds. The other is because I, at least, received some golf advice.
It had exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very poor customer service . Told I could come in and wait for clubs to be bent. Arrived a little after 5 and told NO., 24 hour turn around. Thanks ! 40 min travel time one way and 2 gal of gas . Guy in that department very rude and as unaccomadating as possible. I offered to wait 2 hours until close...NO. asked of he could just check not bend lie on 1 club, NO. Pointed out he could have checked in time weve talked and he replied he could have also done work waiting for him in same time. Called store and asked for his name, didnt get it but transferred to mger. She was nice and said sorry but didnt offer to make it right, didnt offer a future discount for the extra trip I would make to have them bent, didnt do a darn thing other than say they needed to train more. Point is I see why his customer service lacks it starts at the top. My time is not free my gas is not free and I still needed service none of which she addresses or made better
Nice place dont have many clubs in stock now
I demo tennis racquets here frequently. I had a new racquet I brought in for them to restring and the service was great, but the strings popped/broke after one tennis match. So that was a bummer. When I’m in town I’ll bring my racquet in to see what they’ll do about it and update.
Prices were higher than in past years and selection not as varied. However, worth a visit for all golf lovers.
The store is ok. The prices are ok. You might be able to find some the products elsewhere at a lower price, but you would have to do the research.
Great guy assisted with club fitting for my husband. Forgot his name but is from Mullins, SC
Great store to find all your golf needs. They have 10 simulators to try out new and used clubs. Good prices too. Definitely worth checking out.
Husband and I got fired for new clubs today. We had great service and the fitters took their time with us and worked at getting the right clubs for our game.
Dropped by to get a new driver for my wife. Curtis was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer the questions I had during the fitting. A good location with plenty of selections. Wish I had one near my house.
I went in to buy my first professional level clubs and was accosted by an employee because my mask was just below my nose. Also note I was with my wife and there was no one was within 20 feet of us including the employee that yelled at me. At the same time there was an employee 5 feet behind him with his mask on his face the same way as mine. I understand the mask rule when not social distancing but we definitely were and there was no reason for him to be so rude about it. I especially feel sorry for the salesman who lost my sale. Wont ever be back.
Very well stocked.
Treated extremely rude. Im left handed, and apparently the only place I could try a club was in the restroom.
Professional service. Got new shafts in just 3 hrs!
New grip, Add super fast service.
Pretty much if they dont have it you dont need it. Great service
Mike fitted me for a new driver and provided great service and feedback. Based on my swing metrics he brought me a few clubs to hit. Based on how I was hitting the ball he made a couple of suggestions as to which club would work best. The staff was excellent with minimum to no waiting.
Martin went above and beyond to accommodate a special situation I had. He worked hard until we got it figured out. He was very patient and understanding. After that we found the correct shaft for me and one example is I went from 94 mph ball speed to 113 with my 7 iron. Thanks again, Joseph
Great experience. All the latest equipment, Randy is excellent fitter w/o the typical pushy salesman approach, Mike Rossi knows what customer service is all about - best treatment i ever had at any of the superstore locations.
Did not have the items I was looking for. Not the same place as it used to be.
Good people. Plenty of help. Lots of choices!
Regripped some clubs, bought balls and a cute pair of shorts on sale. I love this store.
The morbidly obese man working the front door treated me very rudely as I was returning demo racquets. Changed my decision from a buy to a never return. Its a shame because Rich was so nice, but I havent felt accosted like that in a store before. Not worth the miserable treatment.
Totally enjoyed my time there, was in town visiting from St. Augustine, FL. And have visited the store in Jacksonville on several occasions. Staff was very friendly and helpful, as always.
Store is very well stocked with prices on par with other full size golf shops. The putting green is the largest Ive seen on the Grand Strand.
Great golf store to check out your clubs. Friendly Customer Service people
I walked into this giant empty store and the man told me I needed a mask. I left and I wont go back. I have options and asking me to pretend a mask keeps me safe is insulting.
Rude, discourteous staff, too many other places in MB to shop for golf needs...prices are not great...would avoid
Very helpful and professional staff. Was able to help me find what I was looking for.
Great service and variety of products
Super fast club repair and regripping-while you wait. Huge selection of everything. Employees are great.
Always good friendly service but inventory somewhat limited
Curtis is a great club fitter
Nothing wrong with the store its self. I went in with the intention of a buying a Taylor made rescue but was pretty turned off by the staff. I couldnt find a demo of the sim max so asked a staff member. I couldnt find anyone that wasnt in the fitting section so I waited for them to come out. The attitude and demeanor was such a turn off, like the ask of testing a club was too much. I understand covid and not wanting to wipe down all these clubs after but its $250 wanting to test it should be expected. Great club, hit it well but I couldnt bring myself to buy it here after the experience.
This place is huge. They went above and beyond re-gripping my buddies clubs as quickly as possible while we waited and browsed the endless selections of everything golf.
By far the best of the PGA Superstores in Myrtle Beach. As a local we will only shop at the North Myrtle store. PGA Professionals are much friendlier and willing to help, they want to see your game get better. They take the time and ensure you are happy with the club and that it is professionally fit to you. I’ve never hit clubs better. Fred Sheetz is one of the best fitters I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Fantastic and knowledgeable. Great experience.
No good,no help, wanted to buy golf bag and new g425 Driver but no you wanted to help me not use to help your self when planning to spend $750.00 but Ill go back home get some home town service.
Great place to shop for all golf gear and get staff.
Anything you need and want is in this store. Great selections from clothes to clubs.
Great selection of everything outdoor sports
It was great! Staff people were nice and very knowledgeable!
Mr Earl was awesome and helped us out with all the questions we had...Thanks for another awesome experience at yalls store!
My husband and I were there yesterday for an hour or more. No one even spoke to us...not even a how are you? in passing. My husband is wanting to get back to playing golf after a 16 year hiatus and was planning on buying an entire set of clubs and all the accroutrements. He found a driver that he wanted to try and he had to go find an employee to see if it was okay to do so. The guys only response was the left-handed mat is the last one. He hit many, many balls and yet no one came by to see if he liked the driver or not. We put it back and left. On the way out, we passed several employees who again, did not even speak to us. While selection of products is great, the customer service is a big turn off. Too bad for them. Were spending our money elsewhere.
Absolutely a joke. No customer service. One cashier and ten people waiting while guys walked around doing nothing. Cashier couldnt run the register. Finally after a guy standing there for 15 minutes doing nothing decides he can check people out. First time and last time.
Got a used Nike fairway cover for ten bucks and it looks like brand new and they gave me a free odyssey putter cover and a relay nice Titleist driver for 89 dollars and it looked brand new. Highly recommend for people to shop there. Very friendly staff.
Dealing with Martin was sheer pleasure...very knowledgeable...very helpful...took time in not only showing me how to do things but why you do it and explained how it can help my golf game...i would highly recommend Martin for your how to questions when it comes to your golf game...hands down a true professional
Rich does excellent work re-stringing & re-gripping tennis racquets.
I went in today looking to get prices on irons, drivers, and a bag. After about 2 hrs of one on one with their golf professionals I was able to find a new set of irons, driver, fair way woods and a new bag. The golf professional took the time to help me adjust my swing and adjust driver so If worked great!!! I would recommend PGA store to anyone that needs some advice and get personal assistance.
Tried to buy a set of clubs and a driver, well over a thousand dollar purchase. None of the staff (accept one)seemed very positive in there attitude towards me, then during the checkout process I had to get a price on a trade in. First I was totally ignored and then after a couple of minutes i was told if I was trading in I would have to wait until he dealt with all these other clubs, i asked how long a wait and he said he did no know? He was obviously very frustrated and let me know it! After I asked if there was anyone else to help he said no so I asked to speak to the store manager. He told me that he could not help me either so I left without buying anything.........too negative an experience to give them my money.
I spoke to a man (Sr citizen ) who was very helpful, however when it was time to check out, the cashier did not have anything to say, such as did you find what you were looking for?, or thank you for shopping with us, or have a nice day, Nothing at all. Maybe you should consider a replacement! ! For your information, she was the only register openIf I were you I check this out!
Salespeople are fantastic. Helpful and knowledgeable.
Didnt find the sale item I wanted. Should got through the store more often.
Great good service, had everyhtimg except replacement spikes for golf shoes.
Just left there the employees were nasty and not friendly at all....u ask questions no one knows answers...they acted as if they didnt care whether you bought something or not...with everyone needing jobs ...yoy should be nice or you might not have a job...
Went in for a fitting, horrible experience. The gentleman appeared irritated I only play every other week. I dont mind him being critical, my swing does need much improvement. I told him I was interested in 3 brands of irons, only showed me Callaways because they were on clearance. However when I said I wouldnt be buying today, he practically refused to fit me for a driver as I requested in addition. DO NOT GO FOR HELPFUL ADVICE. Only go if your buying brand new clubs.
Hill was great!
Worse golf store in Myrtle Beach. Very rude staff. Will never enter their story again.
Very nice store for your golf needs
Had three fitting sessions with Martin Sludds for full set of clubs. His patience was remarkable. He helped me with a few points on my grip and back swing also. While I paid for 3-hour and a half fittings over a weeks time he spends the time it takes. But in that time you will get tired. He takes his time trying different heads and shafts until you end up with the right clubs for you. Numerous videos and club stats are usedFinally got out today to try clubs on the course. Ping G410 irons, titelist TS driver and Taylor MS6 fairways and hybrid. They worked fantastic together. Best fitting Ive ever had. Thanks Martin
Place is amazing! Love going in there!
Lot of great items
Friendly an knowledgeable staff. great selection and awesome fitters. im left handed so its always hard to find clubs to fit me but they keep a few demo models so i can at least try them and order what i need.
Fully Stock always find what you need here. The salespeople are very helpful. as well...
This is a great location for basically anything golf or tennis related. Ive had many services rendered here including tennis racquet stringing, golf club adjustments, grip replacement, custom golf clubs and so on. I would highly recommend this for a good place to both check out the newest tech, as well as pick up some nice apparel.
They always have what I need or want.
Biggest PGA store Ive been too. Plenty of choice form 95% of all golf brands, would of liked to see Bridgestone drivers and or iron as well as Srixon. Good selection of clothing as well as discounted products. Used a hitting bay to test a driver which was useful. People complaining that no one helped or acknowledge them. I found them to be ideal. Staff were there if I needed help when asked and gave it, when not needed they didnt bother you with a sales pitch. No problem with any of the store or staff, prices seemed no different from those I was paying while living in NY, which I guess is a bit odd considering everything else down here is. Of course you can blame the manufacturers for that, not the store I would guess. All in all a decent visit.
On my way to look at irons, I was kicked off the electronic hitting range very rudely. Apparently when the screen says “play” it means only if someone is holding your hand. In friendly stores they allow you to use the machine. Was very rudely shown a small sign next to a rack of clubs that said for fitting only. Not buying my irons here! Back to Grenville I go! Poor customer service.
Phil was great in assisting me with purchasing clubs, and even threw in some tips to help correct my swing. The other staff at the register was great as well. Very helpful staff.
Good selection. Fair prices. Would have been good to have more then one cash open for all the people in line waiting to pay.
I had an appointment for a lesson at 2pm today. I arrived at 1:45, and sat in the waiting area for OVER 90 minutes waiting for said lesson. My lesson was with Martin, who was aware that I had arrived, yet continued to assist another customer in the fitting booth--It is understandable that Martins other engagement may have taken longer than he anticipated, but simply acknowledging my presence and the fact that I was waiting an UNACCEPTABLE amount of time would have been common courtesy. After about 30 minutes of waiting, I informed an older gentleman that I was scheduled for a lesson at 2. He seemed horrified, and went to inform Martin, who seemed unscathed and continued with the other customer. I then went over and picked out a new golf bag to purchase, all while Martin continued to blatantly ignore me.After purchasing the bag, I came back to the bench (which should have had my name engraved in it, by this point) and the older gentleman came rushing over, shocked & concerned that I was still waiting on my lesson. He apologized profusely that I was still waiting. I assured him it would be fine, and continued to wait.At approximately 2:40 (40 minutes after my lesson should have started), another gentleman came over & asked if I needed help, I told him I had been waiting about an hour for my lesson, and he apologized profusely & went to tell Martin. Martin gave him and attitude, and I heard the man tell Martin, ok, I was just letting you know... He then came back over to assure me it should not be much longer.I then waited until 3:15, I went over to the older gentleman again to tell him I could not wait any longer. He seemed very upset that I had been made to wait OVER AN HOUR and called out to Martin, who was just now finishing up with his customer. Shockingly Martin shrugged and said well, Im not over there, Im over here, and walked to the back room, with no remorse or apology. This was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Martin should be ashamed of himself. How someone can act this way, with no regard for a paying customer is absolutely despicable. I have been coming to this store, spending a great deal of money, for a very long time, and will NEVER be back.
Always great service
Ive had bad customer service before, but an employee at this store named Randy helped me shop and did a club fitting for me. BEST SERVICE EVER. Period. He spent alot of time with myself and a friend that came with me, answered and entertained all of my questions, and really took his time with us. He made my pga superstore experience worth the 2 hour drive and I will most certainly return based on his customer service alone.
When I bought my golf clubs several years ago, the service and attention was top notch. Tonight’s experience was deplorable. I was in the store for 45 minutes shopping paddleball paddles. Not one store representative offered assistance or came in to my area for me to request assistance. During the 45 minutes, I researched what I needed and will be ordering from Amazon. This is the very reason local stores lose customers to the internet. If it weren’t for the extremely positive experience a few years back, I would have given two stars.
Had everything we needed but terrible service. My daughter and I shopped for 45 minutes and not one employee spoke to us.Spent $150 and barely got a thank you at checkout.
Experience but nice
Large variety of golfing attire.
Professional store and can try pre owned clubs out
Great place to browse for all your golfing and tennis needs. Ive had all my clubs regriped, good job and very fair prices Hey.
Loved the free try it before you buy it concept. If it is available, you will find it here.
We got excellent service and I love my new clubs. The bonus coupon was a nice perk.
This store has extremely high quality products and a wide selection of top notch golf supplies.
Great store, any product you are looking for. wonderful patient service
Place would be great if it sold Travis Mathew apparel. I am a little peeved that it doesnt. All other locations do
I was in town on vacation from Charlotte. I spent time with Terry Mauney getting fit for clubs. He did a very good job taking in my feedback and what he saw to steer me into the right clubs.
If this store was a lady’s shop, there would b chairs through out the store for her husband to sit. Where are the chairs for the wife to sit?
I love this Golf SUPERstore, they have everything you need to play your best game and look sharp doing so!
Nice store and alot of products. Very helpful staff
My wait 4 help got a tad long. Feel like the prices r a little on the high side, plus, the trade in value on clubs, u bring in, u r low balled, especially when u have 2 buy something that day. 1 mans opion...u asked. Thanku
Bought a t m spider putter there today. Good place to shop.
Nice selection of clothing, but no tall sizes.
Very disappointed. Called before coming to see if they had the clubs I wanted to purchase and they said they did. Upon arrival, store in Myrtle Beach did not have them. They called the store in North Myrtle which said they had them in stock. Drove all the way there to find out they did not have them. Terrible customer service while in store.
Always find what Im looking for & great advice.
