This place is a must if your in cherry grove! Staff is super friendly. Prices are a welcomed sight in this overpriced beach world. I highly recommend the milkshakes. And don’t forget to take your photo out front. I will be back many times.

Lovely old fashioned ice cream& snack parlor...although very small, they have a nice outdoor seating...cute tables, clean. They get VERY VERY Crowded tho...so get you food and find out door seating....or try to find a time before the beach goers flood the counter. Soft serve was delicious and perfect. the staff is friendly and courteous...we will be frequenting here everytime we are at the beach in north myrtle 💖⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💖

This is my favorite place to visit in NMB! They have the best ice cream. Their vanilla-chocolate swill is great. The staff are courteous and efficient. The facility is clean. It reminds me of ice cream stands of the past; friendly and fun.

We went for a walk and decided to stop in for ice cream, the owner came out and greeted everyone and even offered free ones for the puppies, great experience 👍🙂

Soft serve was so soft it melted fast. Even sitting inside.

First went in for hot dogs. Ended up getting a bbq sandwich, footlong hotdog with chili and cheese, nachos with chili and cheese. Then we got 2 milkshakes one banana and one peanut butter. Plus a soft pretzel salted. Staff was friendly and fast. We will go back again.

Good ice cream they prioritize safety

This place had some good soft serve ice cream! I had gotten the twist with vanilla/chocolate and OMG it was so creamy and smooth and kept its twist shape. I also had a hot dog which was good, but that soft serve was money!

Wasn’t impressed by the milkshake. They literally warmed my soft pretzel up in the microwave, straight from the freezer. Staff was very unfriendly.

Have been going here for about 20 years since I was a kid. Always a yearly tradition that we have to stop here. Great environment great customer service makes you feel right at home

The ice cream is awesome but they will not heat the peanut butter. it only takes 1min to heat the peanut butter. or they could get a crock like they have for hot fudge. And also there was no one in line so they could of heated it. I come here once a week and maybe twice with my family. but I guess I need to find another place to go that has hot peanut butter. (please get a crock so you can have hot peanut butter)

The place was crowded and personal opinion, not ran very well. It is over crowded and no one adheres to the social distancing or mask regulations hardly that are customers. We had a hard time with our small kids, getting in and out of the place without being overrun by people. They make your order, one thing at a time, so by the time I had ordered all the kids icecream, mine was melting down my hand, so hard to enjoy-I ended up throwing over half of it out. The soft serve is alright, very heavy and thick, not soft and light. My husband ordered 2 candy apples but only ate part of one, they looked old and not very well made. The staff was not very friendly. When we ordered the apples, we were not handed those, as we were everything else when we ordered, so when I asked I was rudely told they were across the shop in the fridge. Then after I paid and was waiting on my hotdog, they were trying to get the order from people behind us. I understand being busy but the service could have been much better! Price point is decent, but thats the best thing I have to say about it.

Best soft serve, IMO, better than dairy queen/freddys. Would suggest to give it a try if in the area.

Cool treat on a warm day!

Went here our 1st nite of vaycay for ice cream. It was REALLY SMALL and crowded because everyone had the same thought we did. They dont have ice cream flavors. They only have vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and swirl. But, they do have banana splits and a few milkshakes. Peanut butter flavored thats what my son got. The ice cream kinda reminds me of dairy queens. Its not really that expensive either .

Very helpful and polite staff. Even tho we came right at closing, we still received full service.

If you want good soft serve ice cream and no complications then come here!

Worst experience of getting ice cream in my 27 years of life.Bought two cones of ice cream. One with chocolate sprinkles and one with nothing on it.Literally 5 seconds after getting the cones they started melting. Like pouring ice cream on to the freaking ground. Don’t know if it’s a temperature issue or what but it’s unacceptable. I will calling back and speaking to the manager.Highly disappointed

So terrible customer service, was not greeted at all, my friend ordered an ice cream cone NO choices of type of cones, there are several, sugar cone, waffle cone not no options here, ordered a banana split $7.00 it was split alright running over to such a huge mess had to ask for additional wax paper for it was just a sloppy messy, my son asked for a second container, to help catch the ice cream, then had to go into the rest room to get the sticky melted mess off me, I Am an adult and felt like a little kid making a huge mess. Zero Stars Wont be back

Every time I have been here there was a line out the door, but dont let that deter you from standing in it. The service is very quick and youre in and out in no time.

Those guys that run the dairy Hut are awesome they are always very polite very patient even when you have a bunch of kids not sure what they want enjoy going there and sitting out front in Rocking Chair a lot will go back as often as I can

The chocolate soft serve is super creamy and delicious! Perfect treat for a warm day. Outdoor seating is colorful and it has a nice view.

The sundae I got was okay, but disappointing. Everything came from a can or bag including the hot fudge, ice cream mix, nuts, and whipped cream. Itll scratch the itch if you really need ice cream. Otherwise go elsewhere.

Best soft serve in town. We come down once a year and this is our go to. With 5 littles it’s a hit.

The dairy hut, a Cherry Grove landmark since 1975 (so says the plaque out front) serves soft serve ice cream in two flavors - chocolate and vanilla. I expected more. Owned and operated by the Boulineau family.

Very rude customer service, we came in 20 minutes before closing and tried to order a milkshake and she said they didnt make them that close to closing. Very overpriced you can buy better ice cream in a carton from Walmart.
