Favorite place to get super fresh seafood, especially stone crabs. You can find great grocery, and have dinner just outside the store. They cook so awesomely! Love to go over and over, remember to make reservations since this place is so popular.Plus, they also sell some juveniles, serving plates, decorations in the store, great choice of good quality, beach style, you can always find some awesome ones. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Food and service wouldve been 5 stars but I was up charged a dollar for croutons for my soup. Croutons are way better than oyster crackers in soup. No other restaurant has ever up charged me for croutons. I agreed to the up charge but asked the server to be sure the manager knows Im being up charged because I wasnt happy about it. That was a hint that the manager should have come speak to me about it, which didnt happen. I dont want to be petty but are you preparing to up charge for ketchup and Tabasco sauce next? Will we be up charged for the ice in my soda? Bad decision. I wont be back. Lose a customer for a dollar, your competitors will get my business.

An adorable place! Half market half restaurant all fun. Really good fare and nautical theme. They also have a little market which is enjoyable especially if you are walking distance to the area I could pick up a six pack or a bottle of wine. Great service as well!

The seafood is very fresh. We visited for lunch and later in the week for dinner. First experience at lunch was good, also brought crab cakes from the marketplace which were very good. At dinner we ordered the lobster bake for two. The lobster was over cooked, dry and tough. The soup and dessert were good. Service wasn’t as good during dinner, perhaps too busy. I would still recommend the food but not the lobster bake.

So I happened across this place by accident to be honest, I happened to be in the North palm area with my boyfriend running errands when we thought it would be nice to find a seafood market to buy something for dinner. I live in west palm and he lives in Boca and we always go to the same markets but like discovering new places.The market is also a cafe and restaurant within a small shopping complex. We were very kindly greeted by the hosts outside who welcomed us to either take a seat on the very cute terrace or head inside to market.As soon as I walked in i knew I had found exactly the type of market I was looking for!!! They didn’t only have counter upon counter of fresh fish, but they also had a frozen and fresh section as well as a kitchen for takeout. Smoked fish dip ? Check. Filling for conch fritters? Check. Blini and caviar? Check. And they have a whole little retail area with such cute local made crafts like soaps, sauces, and then cute coastal inspired kitchen items.The employees are walking around and are so happy to help! We were going to buy a fish dip from the fridge but asked and they brought us to the kitchen where they prepared fresh dip for us.They have so many counters of fresh fish, every local fish you could desire, stone crabs, lobsters, scallops, and the people who work there are very. Knowledgeable about the seasons for each and the ça places from where the fish and seafood is sourced from. The woman at the cash was simply the sweetest. I had forgotten a bag of at the register and she literally came running out and down the parking lot to catch me before we got into the car to give me the products I had forgotten.Other patrons were asking about cooking methods and recipes all if which the empires were so happy to provide.Overall just a really great experience !!

If you are looking for the freshest seafood spot in town, go here. We ordered four appetizers and a variety of items amongst our group, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Honorable mention for the fried Key West pink shrimp - Not overly breaded like many other places and fried just right. The scallops, snapper, and oysters tasted very clean and fresh as well. Our server, Susan, was mass legit. Oh, and, for what it’s worth, we have visited this place quite a few times, both for the market, and also the restaurant, and every time, the seafood has been as fresh as you’re going to get. I hope you will give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

While the menu leaves no room for serious food restrictions, I was fortunate to order grilled shrimp (with NO SEASONINGS) & steamed veggies. Both are excellent. Way too much food for one person. Prices were fair & server Chris was attentive. Dennis at the podium very friendly. Welllikely return when my issues are cleared up (hoping). The seafood market is a force to be reckoned with!

Tried Cod and Capers tonight. I had bought seafood from the store in the past but to be honest, I rather eat steak. My wife however loves seafood so we decided to give it a try.I asked Mark our server what steak options I had, he walked me into the market area and we went through this steak, pork chop area and picked out a Wagu top butt. The cuts of meat were all from a boutique farm and looked really good. Wife went all in and got a shrimp app, crab stuffed lobster, a king crab leg and mixed veggies. The service was great, friendly and just cool. The food was great, Steak had such a good sear, great temp on the inside and spectacular flavor. The seafood was amazing as well, so fresh. Its interesting to walk into a seafood store, see a ton of fresh fish and shellfish but not smell it. Its so fresh that it doesnt smell fishy. At the end Jason the chef came out, said hi and we let him know what a great job the whole crew had done. It was a great place, unassuming but executed so well. We will be back, just awesome.

Good food, atrocious service.Waited an hour for entrees for a table of four. A group of six were seated next to us fifteen minutes after us. They got their appetizers, entrees and finished before we were served our entrees. Manager and waiter blamed the PoS system. Irrelevant for the customer regardless.When the orders came, everything was wrong. Fish was ordered grilled and came blackened. The sides were wrong as well. 20% off doesn’t make up for the aggravation of dealing with a front of house that has no clue what’s going on with the kitchen.What a nightmare. Get it together, you’re not the only fish place on the shore.

We tried this place today for the first time. It was so so good. The food is so fresh. Great kids menu, changing table in bathroom too. Outdoor seating was lovely. Our server Camille was great. The marker has some really good looking food and gifts for sale. Can’t wait to go back!

The people were extremely patient and friendly while helping describe which fish to get and then giving suggestions how to prepare it for dinner.The food was excellent, both the fresh fish and also their homemade sides. I really enjoyed the Herb Finishing Butter.I would highly recommend stopping by to pick up some seafood and went twice in a week while in the area.

Cod and Capers Seafood is a market for fresh seafood, well-priced wine, and beach-inspired home products. It also is a restaurant with a straightforward selection of dishes. The fried grouper sandwich was awesome but a bit pricey at $20 for basically just a (really excellent) sandwich. The pasta with scallops had a lot of seafood, but the cream sauce is a lot. The lobster bisque could have more lobster meat for the price but is tasty. Otherwise, a good choice for lunch.

The market also sells beer, veggies, spices & sauces, and dessert items. Their gift selection is adorable & mostly nautical. The staff is friendly & professional. Stopped in because of the menu.Ordered lobster tail and beef tenderloin. Beef was decent, but lobster tail was severely overcooked and not very good. Ive had much better while deployed in the military.Service was mediocre at best and its evident its a family owned place. I typically give a place a 2nd try, but Ill forgo the 2nd try here. For the price, the portions are extremely lacking.

Pricey but food is spot on. Double check your carry out orders before leaving as they do have some order mix-up issues. Weve learned a few times. Key lime shrimp and pasta are a favorite and the key lime pie is great.

Stumbled upon this beautiful little place. My server, Jimmy recommended the Grouper Piccata with Capers. DELICIOUS!! Very nice piece of fish perfectly cooked with a delicious lemon butter white wine sauce. Dry sparkling rose along with it. Jimmy was very attentive and the perfect gentleman. Great little local place. I will definitely be back!

We went there for lunch and was worried about the long line out front. The staff did a great job trying to keep everyone safe. Off to the side, they had table set up for pick ups and someone was controlling the number of people allowed into the market at one time. Inside the market, they had lines set up for safe separation. We ate outside and again felt safe with their setup. Service was a bit slow, but everyone seemed to be doing their best. Would not go again on a holiday.Now, the menu is so full of seafood dishes that making a choice was hard. The prices are a bit high, but our food was delicious and plentiful. We left feeling full and happy.Special thanks to the staff for taking all the extra precautions so we can still dine out during these crazy times.

Weve been to the market area 6 times and had blue crab, stone crab, shrimp, salmon, and two types of raw oysters. Everything we have purchased has been excellent quality and fairly priced for the area. Ive called 3 times and each time, whoever answered, provided me with excellent service and patiently answered all of my questions. We look forward to trying the restaurant area one day soon. Definitely a go-to spot for us.

It’s unfortunate that the food and atmosphere were so great as the service was absolutely terrible. Jeanie was our waitress and acted like she had better places to be. From the moment we sat down, she was unfriendly, rude snd impolite. We were there the night before and had a fantastic waiter and decided to go back Friday. If Jeanie was going to be our waitress again, we would most definitely ask for someone else. This is the type of person who should not be permitted to interacting with people. She had a miserable look on her face, she never once greeted us or said thank you for anything. Everyone has a bad day but her attitude was obvious by all four of our guests and everyone was commenting on her rudeness.

Seafood is fresh, dinners are flavorful but portion sizes are small for the price. Also they wont do any special requests. They offered a lobster risotto tonight but Im allergic to lobster and wanted to substitute another seafood but they would not accommodate my request. Also the hostess has no personality.

Ok food. Not great. We had a large party and three items came out about 30 min ahead of the rest of the items. We had to ask for water refills a few times. Slow service. Also, dont let your kids play on the rocks, the manager will tell them to stop in a pretty rude and direct way. The waiter was nice and polite and thats about it. I dont plan on going back.

Today was my first visit & it was quite good. tlThe calamari is in strips and are very tender. I will just ask for it a little more browned next time. The cracked conch app was good too but I thought the calamari was better value imo. We split a lb of stone crab claws which were very fresh and tasty but very expensive. Not allowed to split the 2 lb of stone crab claws which is weird. The Hogfish & scallop pasta were tasty too. Definitely a splurge, will go again when we have another local dines deal or the one buck shuck in the summer.

Service and food at the restaurant were good, but some items in the market were so overpriced that it was really on the verge of price gouging. And for a seafood market, the tuna looked pretty miserable. In response to managements response below, I certainly understand pricing pressures, as I purchase seafood wholesale for both restaurants and markets. To give a specific example, you are 11 oz frozen unagi eel sells for $33. I know for a fact that it wholesales for less than 15 which means that you are more than doubling the price.at $33 each. If youre paying more than $15 wholesale, Id be happy to sell you frozen unagi, But as we both know, a standard margin for retail is about 35%...

First of all do not go there unless you lovefish or seafood and if you do love Seafood that is the place to go. Fabulous Sensational Seafood. Us landlubbers will have no luck there. I had the chicken sandwich and I was highly disappointed, it was rubbery. But I should not be disappointed because I was at a fish and seafood restaurant. I would advise to have a few more options than 3 for land menu. The staff is pleant. Very nice unique gift shop and we loved the market. Prices are reasonable and the place is spotless clean.

They were unbelievably rude. With barely anyone in the restaurant, they would not seat me because the other person in my party had not yet arrived. If I was a single diner would they refuse too? It was hot and I was standing outside in my mask and asked if I could please be seated because I would like to order a drink. They would not and said they had limited seating and everyone needed to arrive. (Only 2 of us) I could understand if it was the height of dinner time and it was crowded but it was not. With all the restaurants that are suffering right now I am happy to bring my business elsewhere.

I took out two containers of clam chowder. It was $15. IUsed to love this soup. Only problem was that it had hardly any clams inIt. I won’t be getting that again. Very disappointed.

Fabulous top-service we didn’t expect. Tomato lobster bisque was fabulous. Should add it to the menu. The blue points (oysters) were delicious and fresh. Conch fritters were excellent. Real key pie. The adjacent fish market was great. All good things to say. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent this visit. We have been there several times and the last visit we were not as enthusiastic about the food as we were this time. Terrific BLT salad wedge and shrimp scampi. We were seated right away inside. Four stars due to our waiter being somewhat inattentive although very nice and personable but would definitely return.

Weve been buying seafood here for the last 25 years or so and it has always been incredible. Now that they have the restaurant open, its even better. The cracked conch is so delicious that we always order two, plus one to go. The scallops are so tender that you dont even have to chew. Everyone is friendly and helpful... If there is something you want that isnt on the menu, they will make up a market plate for you, weighing out whatever seafood you request and cooking it up how you desire. Absolutely could not recommend it more strongly.

I was there for Stone Crab Wednesday and got the medium claws with a creamy mustard sauce. The Stone Crab (local) was very sweet and the mustard sauce was delicious! I tried a bit of my Moms crabby potatoes (using the same Stone Crab) and also had a shrimp and tomato bisque. Both were delicious as well. Theres also a seafood market here and everything is fresh. Very fresh.

Excellent fresh fish. Excellent service. 1st thing waitress asked, if we have allergies. My wife does - no black pepper. We both ordered the lobster rolls. Later, the waitress said she checked, and the lobster rolls do have pepper, so my wife ordered something else. Excellent service, and I tipped extra for it.

First and last time I’ll go here. We took some lobster in to be cooked. So lunchtime is $18 a plate with one side, but dinner is $18 with TWO sides..... how is that fair? We asked our miserable waitress who shrugged her shoulders. The lobster came out overcooked, the seaweed salad was revolting and the service abysmal. Not at all impressed.

The seafood here is outstanding!!! The best by far in palm beach county. Three different meals, three different kinds of fish, every dish was cooked to perfection and the sides were great also. Our server Larry was very friendly and gave us the best service ever.

I have always had a very good experience at Cod & Capers. Whether its dinning in or taking seafood to go. Their local Florida strip steaks are very good as wel . I have always had very good experiences with the staff at the market or the waitresse . No complaints. Food is always on point!!!

Today, I spent $120. at C & C, $82. of which was for stone crabs, 5 out of the 6 crabs were dry and old, 1 was delicious. 2 years ago, I was a resident of Gloucester, Ma, I have solid history with fresh shellfish. The 3 other items I purchased were also delicious. My take is C & C was stock pilling stone crabs for the Easter weekend rush. Consensuses- I have gotten fresher stone crabs from Publix.

The fresh fish is really outstanding here. I tend to prefer grilled to fried as an eater, but both are available here and both are very good.I really enjoyed the fish and chips. The fish was very nice, but slightly over breaded. Overall, you are unlikely to be disappointed.

North Palm Beach is a great place to be stuck when you have Cod & Capers close by. The food is excellent and the service from Larry and the others is first class. Thank you Larry for remembering us each time we came in and knowing our favorite food and wines. We look forward to seeing you again in Nov.!! :)

Great clean and fresh fish market. The display is beautiful and the variety is superb. They have a steal drummer that makes for a tropical, fun ambiance. Wish I found it sooner.
