Went to test drive the Kia K5 Gt-line AWD to see if I was happy with a 1.6 turbo vs the GT 2.5 and was told I wouldn’t be able to test drive the car as they want to keep the miles on it low. I could only do so if I was going to purchase the car. Next as previous reviews state they are charging an astronomical amount for “adjusted market value”. The manager tried reasoning with me about chip shortage and car shortage and advised me to do research. Now having been searching for cars for over 2 months rigorously I know about the upcharge however it’s as if they pick and choose the rate for each car where most dealers will say ok everything is “x amount of dollars over MSRP”. The K5 was $6,995 over but then the Sorrento only $3995. None of it makes sense and the entire experience left a bad feeling so my mom and I left and went to Acura. I mean for those inflated prices I may as well go high end and they aren’t charging adjusted values and overall offer a better sales experience. How can a $30k car go for up to 40k+ with the inflated price, taxes, and documentation fees. Best advice, stay far away from this dealer!

We stopped by there to buy a Telluride. There were at least 4 cars on the lot, which is unusual after going to several other dealers. But I found out why,THE HIGHEST “Adjusted Market Value! Actually this is not used by all dealers and if used it’s not as high. Do your homework, I would not waste time and shop there. The salesperson seemed like I was inconveniencing him. Maybe Bruno was having a bad day. We asked to test drive it and he said we could not. I drive a luxury Volvo And wanted to see how it drove.In closing terrible experience. I will go to the dealership with better selling practices.

They added an additional 6k on top of msrp due to chip shortage and high demand... that is scalping. I also felt they never really tried to get the deal I want. I left and went to sansone they got the deal I want and no extra charges!

UPDATE: They only gave us a small amount of wiper fluid! When we went in to get our plates, it was brought to their attention and nothing was done about it.I also found it that the starting mileage on the lease was 6 mi., however the actual mileage on the car was 17. Not a big deal just showed inconsistencies and not paying attention to detail. Somewhat happy with my experience.. . . . . . . . . .Ramon Rosario has a very low pressure sales approach whose main objective is to make the customer happy! He accomplished his objective today!!Well be back to see him again in a couple of years or sooner!

Feel bad leaving a bad review, but I was looking into a specific model of the Kia carnival, including an exact color of exterior and interior, and Global wes the only one who had the exact choice of mine within a 75 mile radius. I called the front desk and said: you guys are an hour and 15 min away, are you above MSRP, is it at all negotiable? She replied, “yes, we go a long way for long distance, It’s negotiable, are we gonna see you today?” She then adds, “we are offering good deals because we have to reach a quota”. I come down with my wife first thing I inquire about is the price. I got the answer an hour and a half later. “We are selling the car @ 6k above MSRP” says sales rep. Then manager repeats the same thing, and I tell him the exact quote of his secretary, he just said “I didn’t say that”.

I purchased a new vehicle from this dealership, my experience was ok at the time. When I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change, I had items stolen out of my car. Nothing was left in plain sight. One of the fine employees of Global Kia in North Plainfield thought unzipping my personal travel bag which was completely closed in my back seat and stealing items was a fine idea. What do my personal belongings have to with an oil change? I was told the GM was a fair guy and this would get straightened out. He claimed no cameras, no one admitted to it and the best he could do was credit my next oil change. Guy must be delusional thinking I would bring my car back so they can steal from me again. What kind of employees does this place hire? Place doesnt even deserve a star at this point. Stay away if you value Trust and Privacy. What a joke.

Most poorly run dealership I’ve been in in a long time. My sales guy probably should have retired 15 yrs ago and what should have been a smooth one on one sale turned into an all day affair as he was occupied helping 3 other customers at the same time while taking care of me (I was the 1st) Needless to say by the time I was handed the keys to my new vehicle I was exhausted and out of patience. Because it was so late by the time I left he couldn’t even be bothered showing me the controls etc and I was left to figure it all out on my own. They provide you with your first and third oil change for free. I just went for my first and the service department is run just as poorly as the front! I’ve never waited an hr and a half for a simple oil change when making an appointment. The communication is awful and unprofessional and I will definitely not return for services whether they’re free or is a charge!

I cannot begin to describe how amazing my service rep was. Pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. She kept in contestant contact with me while my car was being serviced. If she went a day without calling she made sure to call and give me updates and when there was a delay with a part for my car she apologized which she did not have to do since the delay was due to a power failure. Sales people were nice and attentive;Selling practices are abhorrent. Tried to talk me into taking a lease when I didnt want one. Only talked in terms of monthly payments, not total cost. Pressured me to purchase that day but refused to tell me the value of the vehicle after fees, refused to let me know what rate my finance would be at, and refused to tell me the value of my trade in before committing to signing. Pulled the let me get my manager to put even more pressure. All around horrible experience, this is how you lose business.

This service center has really impressed me. I have taken my husbands car as well as my own. Both times the staff has been very knowledgeable, efficient and welcoming. The facilities are very well maintained and accommodating with bagels & cream cheese, fresh fruit, and hit beverages. I also would like to praise the staff for going above and beyond by getting a replacement battery for my car extremely quickly and calmly. I appreciate their time and effort and definitely will be bringing my car back regularly.

You can walk around the showrooms and sales people will look at you like you have 2 heads. This is such a typical Route 22 dealership. When I sat with one Jeep sales person, he acted like I was putting him out. I asked to go see a few Jeeps in the yard and when the cars were all locked, I was told I can get an idea looking in the window. Classy outfit this is not!!

Efficient service. When you make an appointment, the car gets checked in right away, and the wait time to talk to a service representative is usually brief. The estimate of when the car will be ready is usually pretty accurate. And the work on the car seem to be done right the first time, as a rule. And the coupon for a free car wash was a nice bonus

Got there at 9:00, the gentleman told me oh we probably won’t take your car back until 10:30 and still didn’t get my car back until 12:30. I was there for an oil and change and tire rotation. I went to Global Kia in hopes of purchasing my first new car (I have had many used cars in the past). I couldn’t help but feel a bit apprehensive going new car shopping. Fortunately I was greeted by Ken who went on to make the entire process as pleasant as it could be. I was interested in the 2019 Kia Optima. After a test drive and talks about the price I decided to make the purchase. He was able to top the lowest price I had previously gotten. I hit one roadblock before I drove off the lot. My old insurance company quoted me a ridiculously high price. Ken worked hard to help find me insurance that was not only the lowest but almost half the quote I received from my old insurer. He went above and beyond throughout the sale. Even after the purchase was complete he went on to show me a couple more helpful features before driving off the lot. I couldn’t recommend Global more and will tell anyone to go without hesitation. Thanks again Ken! You are the best.

The service waiting area, for example, is clean, spacious, lots of vending machines and free coffee/tea/bagels. No one here is wearing a mask as well as enforcing it for other customers in the waiting room. It does not seem hospitable or kind. Another person went to grab their mask and the employee responded with “ you really don’t need it. They just prefer it.” You absolutely do need a mask, especially if you live with high risk people in your home. This is a total lack of respect and safety for their customers. I am deeply disappointed.

I am SO DISAPPOINTED with this dealership! Customer satisfaction/service is horrible!! When it was time for me to buy my car they were very nice & attentive to make sure they made their sale but now it’s not even two years later & I have an issue that can be fixed because the car is still under warranty and they totally failed me!First of all, I took it in to be serviced & they waited until after I dropped it off and left to tell me the machine they use to run the diagnostics in order to do this repair was not working. They said I could either leave the car with them or take the car back until the machine was working again and bring it back then. It’s the middle of July so I of course had no desire to take it so I asked to leave it and get a rental. They not only had no rental to give me basically leaving me with nothing but then the manager had the NERVE to tell me they had only one rental available but they would have to charge me $50 a day because it “wasn’t Kia brand” which is a load of BS which I wish I knew at the time!I decided to take the car to the Kia dealership in Avenel and not only did they fix the issue, but while I was waiting & they weren’t sure how long it would take they offered to pay for an uber to send me home but I decided to stick around for another hour since I had the time. Then once they realized it was a part they would have to order causing the repair to now take them a few days they gave me a rental and sent me on my way without me having to ask! AND HERES THE KICKER!! They gave me a JEEP!!! No additional charge to me!!! None of this $50 a day nonsense!Moral of the story is I will NO LONGER be giving Global my business! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because I know a lot of things are out of their control sometimes but they are a bunch of wolves in sheep’s clothing! Very nice until you sign on the dotted line, once that’s done they don’t give a damn, unless it’s something you have to pay for & they can make money off of you!!! WHAT A SHAME TOO because my fiancé and I had plans to buy a Jeep Wrangler with them next but there’s no way that’s happening now!!!

I had such a great experience with Global Auto Mall! I worked with Antoine and he was so patient with me as he explained my options and worked with me to come up with the best deal for me. He also took me to test drive all of the cars that I was interested in and made sure that, in the end, I got the color I wanted. Nestor Martinez was my financial manager and he also was very clear and helpful in signing the final documents. Overall, this dealership clearly prioritizes customer service and ensures that their customers get what they want with ease. A day or two before my appointment I received an email reminding me of the appointment. While at Global for my scheduled maintenance everything ran smoothly from the time I pulled in to the facility to the time I drove away. The service advisor was friendly and informative and projected a hands on approach to my visit even though it was just for routine scheduled maintenance. Over all, a very positive experience and one that I recommend to anyone dissatisfied with where they go now.

Everyone was just really nice and understanding. They gave us time to talk and think. The last time I went car shopping I came out very frustrated. Mike vansomeren was great ! We asked for different options and he gave them. He asked the right questions and knew when we needed time to talk privately.
