Could not even fix a simple transfer case, this is a transmission shop right??? Worst of all they wanted payment for not fixing my problem!!!
Poor service took 8 weeks to rebuild my transmission
They did a good job on my truck 👍
Took my mercury villager for transmission problems. Was clearly told that $50 will be charged for inspection. After inspection they recommended complete transmission rebuild and an estimate of $1800-2100. No push.I did not take the service as the vehicle is too old for this luxury, but the experience was not bad. They can improve on having an office where they admit your vehicle in a formal way and give receipt for that. But I liked staffs, they are honest.
I thought for a while they were professional but definitely not, I will never require a service from this place its a rip off im not happy
If there was a 0 star option that is what I chose. Said plainly: the employees here are of a low caliber and charlatans. They will purposely look for things wrong with your car to fix when brought in for routine service. They will do things that you have not approved and then charge you for them. Not once was I told that there would be a diagnostic charge and never once did I ask for anyone to look into the prices for changing certain parts. Shouldnt the customer be informed before any activities take place? Well, I was not. Then when I sent a family member to pick up the car, they were told that I was explained that there would be a charge. LOL. That never happened.I have been a patron of AAMCO for several years and clearly they are NOT the same across the chain. The Bridgewater location has NEVER done anything like this and has even taken several hours to examine a car without charge. I can only assume that the employees at this location have really committed to perpetuating the stereotype of sleazy mechanic and delight in trying to rip off clients who they feel will blindly accept what they tell them. I am not standing for that.Moral of the story: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This place is horrible. I took my 2010 Mazda CX9 to this stablishment in North Plainfield and I should of known better. The place is falling aprt but regardless, we figure Aamco is a prestigios name lets give it a try. We already had a mechanic looked at the problem before we took it to Aamco the mechanic said it was the trasfer case that leads to the trsmission. After taking it to Aamco the owner told us he will take a look at it and get back to us shortly. 3 days happened getting the run around and no diagnosis. After that day WE had to call him and he said oh I really dont know what it is, I will have someone take a look on Monday. I was in shocked. On Monday afternoon he called saying it is the transmission and it needs to be replace. Because I have guarantee I believe even if it was only the trsfer case he was going to say it was the trasmission. After that took about 3 more days for them to return my car. When I got it we still hear weird rumbling that goes on and off in addition while washing the car I noticed grease all over my right passenger side rim. We took the car to Sears auto just to see what it was and they daid there is a clamp that was snap (broken). Now my husband has been calling the Aamco and another person picks up the phone saying the owner is not there. So we contacted corporate about this. I still have no car and it has been about 3 week. Never, never, never take your car there.
Guarantee work
Bad cervice they know nothing 👎
Unfortunately the owner and the workers do not even know what they are doing, they guess the car problem, they do not even know how to read the computer, much less do they know what it tells them, they did not take their car there, they could not repair my car and in 3 days they could not find the error in the computer that was only a sensor👎
I do not recommend it at all I lost 800 dollars and they did not fix anything and other people have told me the same thing.Better use another workshop because this one is not good
