What a great experience with Ryan and his team. The cabinets are beautiful, well-made, and exactly what was promised. All the deadlines were met. Working with Ryan was so great; he is very collaborative, he wants to make sure you are happy with his suggestions and he listens & follows through with your suggestions.I would recommend Cabinets by Design to anyone who is looking for a high quality, professional experience!!

I have the new Master Muffler shop in North Salt lake. When we took over here, the place was a dive. Ryan and his guys at Cabinets by Design did a wonderful job in my waiting room, re doing my cabinets and counter tops. They were fast and well priced and their work is quality.

Cant recommend their work. They were $1000 more expensive than the next highest bidder. We thought we were getting solid wood cabinets, which was why we paid the premium. In fact, we spent 15 minutes explaining exactly why we wanted solid wood when they came to give us a bid. The bidder did nothing to explain that the cabinets, bookcases and desks would not be solid wood. He also did not explain that the hardware comes extra. When it became apparent that they had not delivered what we had asked for, they did nothing to fix it. They just apologized. Be very careful when you get a bid from them and enter into a contract to specify exactly what you want. Because we had no paperwork, were out the extra $1150 (adding in the cost of hardware).

Highest quality cabinets you can find in Utah. Im a general contractor and have never had a problem with there cabinets. Not one! Thanks for you fast and amazing service

Cabinets by Design is the place for people who appreciate creative design and quality. They can do anything. My lacewood cabinets are gorgeous. Everyone who visits my house has to touch them. My china cabinet is stunning - weathered wood, seed glass. Dave and Ryan are not the cheapest in town, they are the best. You can tell them what you want, but its best to listen to their suggestions too. If you want cheap and disposable, go to Ikea.

We are extremely disappointed with the service, the finished product, the attitude of the owner, and the entire experience with Cabinets by Design. What you see, what you order, what you pay for, is NOT what you get. The finished product was the wrong color and the design was not what we discussed. The owner of Cabinets by Design was so unprofessional when I met with him at my home, he admitted that the color was wrong and that the layout was not the same as the pictures, but said it was the way it was and there was nothing he/we could do about it. I had the color sample he had given me when I ordered the cabinets and he attempted to take it back and ultimately slammed my door as he stormed out of my home. He was unwilling to do anything to make it right by either offering to correct the order or compensating us in any way for accepting the cabinets as they were. For the kind of money you pay for cabinets – especially those that are supposedly not factory ordered and designed to your specifications, one would expect a company to make at least a minimal gesture to make the customer feel satisfied- not screwed.

Ive worked in the cabinet and millwork industry for the last 7 years and would buy cabinets from Ryan at Cabinets by Design. They produce high quality craftsmanship with a wide range of styles and designs to accommodate every buyers needs.
