Lori and Cindy with all of the others in the office at Menlove Freshstart are amazing to work with. When my car died, they hooked me up with Scott at the shop to get a motor put in my car. They are allowing me to add the repairs to my loan for the car and continue to make payments. I cant tell you all what this means to and for me. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!! DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO MENLOVE FRESH START! We got a complete Lemon from them and they refused to do anything to help us, they had the car in the shop more than we drove it! VERY HIGH payments! We put so much money in to that car, then the differential went out and was going to cost $6,200 to fix! We voluntarily returned the car after talking to them, They put it on our credit as a repo!!! They are a complete joke!

The BEST car dealership I have ever been to. Bad credit? Doesnt matter!! They dont check. Only need $600 down to get approved and full coverage and youre set. 0% interest. Payment options come with the car you choose. 2 year 30,000 mile warranty included. The staff doesnt work off commission so they care about you more and getting you into the right vehicle. One of the more simplest transactions when getting a vehicle I have ever had. I wont go anywhere else now.

The staff there are very friendly and helpful. I checked around and this was the only place that made it easy for my son to purchase a vehicle at a payment he can afford with no prior credit history.Only $300 down payment and $150 payments every two weeks on his pay day. We figured that if he pays an extra $50 a month on his payment the total lease will be paid off when the warranty expires and he owns the car.Granted, the car has a lot of miles on it, but they include a 2 year warranty with the price of the car and the lease period is not much longer than that.PLUS, they do all the warranty work and do their best to give you a loaner until your car is fixed. AND they are their own bank so they charge no interest! UNHEARD OF! So even if the price of the car is a bit above what you would pay if you bought it from a private party, the fact that you pay no interest more than makes up for the difference.Most people with poor credit history that go to a dealer where they say buy here and pay here ARE charging interest and spread the payment out for 3-4 years at a high interest rate. So by the end of the loan youve paid about double the original price for the car.Didnt mean to ramble on, but I wanted to make it clear that Menlove REALLY DOES want the help people. I know several people that have purchased there after being turned down everywhere else they went. These are the same people that coined the phrase Last of the little guys and were one of the first dealerships to help those with less than perfect credit through their Fresh Start program.So for those people that need transportation to get to work every day but cant seem to catch a break because of their credit, this is a great option. Once the lease is over, most people can then qualify for a nicer, newer, lower mileage vehicle.

I needed a car ASAP! During October it was pretty cool so I wasn’t worried about my AC but in the lease agreement they said I will be able to bring my car back and they’ll fix it. Now it’s SUMMER and the heat is deadly!! I took it back to Menlove and their mechanic did an AWESOME job. I have a 3rd row SUV, the back vents weren’t even blowing. All vents work and AC is super cold. Got it fixed a week ago so I know for sure they did an awesome job! It’s scary to lease a car knowing that you could possibly be screwed over and taken advantaged of...ive been and seen it all. But Menlove stuck to their promise. Now me and my babies are riding cool 24/7. THANKFUL! And will definitely recommend them to anyone who’s having a difficult time leasing a car at other lots. When life deals you a bad hand, it’s very difficult to get financed for a car. I was very apprehensive going car shopping until I walked into Menlove. I was immediately greeted with a smile and a firm handshake from Andrew. No judgment, no pressure, terms and prices were disclosed upfront and I walked away with a great car!

We got our car in March, since then weve had nothing but problems. One part after another in the car started to break, first the electronic throttle control, then the coolant housing, then a pvc pipe and now months later the throttle control is broken and faulting AGAIN after they said it was repaired. We got our car fixed a month ago over the weekend we drove it down from N. Salt Lake to Orem, and before I could pull into my driveway, it broke down a mile away. Have they been helping us? Well sure, after we call and call and call and it seen a like were a nuisance more than a paying customer. Weve had to pay over $1000 in repairs on a car weve had since March. When they help it seems like its on their time. I dont feel they have our best interest in mind and now that we are trying to get into a different car (when wed rather just leave the lease as a whole) we have to pay another over $400. When we were sold the car it was done in a rushed manner and pretty unprofessional. It was March and cold and the heater in the car didnt even work on the drive back which should have been the first red flag, but we had already signed the papers. This company and the car they sold us has been nothing but an anxiety ridden 6 month ride. I would say if youre looking for a car thats RELIABLE, ***DO NOT GO HERE*** And this is just a small portion of the ordeal weve had. This is me talking about my experience with this company, Ive been so disappointed and just heartbroken me and my family.

Thank the good Lord above that we have plenty of other dealers in town. Because Menlove not only has the worst inventory I’ve ever seen but they could care less about you as a customer. Do yourself a favor go to any other dealership first.

I just wanted to let everyone know that does business with Menlove they double the price of what their vehicles are worth. The vehicle PRICES ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE!I was ready to buy a 2001 Toyota Corolla from them. I was dealing with Sam. Good guy and good customer service. Sam told me its $250 a month and 2 years financing.Thats $6,000 dollars! I talked to other dealers, checked the blue book value and the Toyota Corolla is worth $2,500 to $3,000 dollars.I understand that the company wants to make a profit. But they are ripping off the people that have bad credit and those same people just want a good vehicle at a reasonable price.It would be better if Menlove just charged $1,000 dollars more but not double the cost. I can tell the owners are in it more for the money than wanting to help the people with bad or no credit.

They say they want to HELP your credit but they RUIN your credit. RUN FAR AWAY! I repeat. Run!! Literally on the way HOME the car felt like the transmission was going out and it wasn’t mechanically functioning. They will not work with you no matter how bad your situation gets. They don’t tell you how much the car costs until YOU SIGN THE PAPERS TO PURCHASE!! Several things went wrong with the car in the first month and they didn’t offer to fix when clearly, they knew about it. I was leasing the car for the price of a brand new car. This one having 200,000 miles and being a 2004. I’ve never had such a bad experience with any other company. I should have stuck with my gut feeling when entering the pathetic office they like to call a “dealership.” The employees are way too nice. Like, make you feel uncomfortable nice. It’s completely fake and I could see right through it. It honestly seems like such a scam there. They say they will take you to their “lot” of cars. Which is a few blocks from the office and has an option of maybe 7 or 8 extremely run down, ghetto looking cars. It looked like a junkyard. I was in need of a car ASAP, but I should have looked the other way. I ended up paying 4,000 on a car that wasn’t even worth that much to begin with and still owed 9,000 on it. I got so sick of it that I decided to “return” my car and now have a repossession on my credit. They didn’t fix my credit. They ruined it. Also, they don’t report to credit agencies when you make payments. They report to them when you DON’T make payments. So, my question is, how in any way does that help your credit? The answer is, it doesn’t. Pathetic excuse for a company.
