Posting through sons account- Always have Passwaters work on our vehicles. Never had a problem. We were new to the area and were given a recommendation of this place for a local mechanic, and Darrel is the best we’ve ever had! He’s always very honest with us, and tries for the simplest and most cost effective fix first. Prices are always reasonable. Sometimes he will have a vehicle longer than anticipated, but that’s only because he takes care of all his customers. In our case, if he knows it’s our daily driver, he does his best to get it back quickly. I’d recommend Paswater’s to anyone!

Quoted me a $170 price to fix a seal. So I took my van there with clear promises it would be $170 and finished that next day. After a few calls to shop on my part to check progress was told they had stuff tore apart and were trying to source the seal. Okay that was fine. But end of day comes and one more call on my part, and am then told the price has changed and a new estimate will be made the next day. The next day was Saturday. No call. All weekend was without my only vehicle. I waited till 1 pm on Monday to hear. Still no call, so I called. They more than doubled the estimate to $440. I declined. I was charged $74.90 to get my van back unfixed. To top it off they had tore my serpentine belt and said nothing. It broke completely less than 4 miles from shop. It was a brand new belt less than 2 months old. Not impressed at all and probably filing a complaint against this business. Its wrong to give a price, promise that price then jack it more than double plus break things. Very bad business.
