This is a nice neighborhood type store! It is very pleasant to shop there and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Good prices and they have lots of the sugar free items that I use(love the pancake syrup & jellies!)and it is clean & well stocked. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and the produce & meats are always fresh. Ive never gone away unhappy and they say hello when you come in and a friendly smile and goodbye. My neighbor and I go there together and we always have fun and just are happy while were shopping there. We say it reminds us of the old style grocery stores where everything you need is there but you dont have to walk 2 miles to get what you want! Its a place to go where things still seem good and real and nice. We love it!

It’s Very quiet most of the time they have great deals always are very helpful and friendly cashiers but they only sell certain bands of certain things for instance they only have one type of brown sugar and its regular they don’t sell light or brown.

I love this store. It is clean, the cashiers are friendly and helpful, prices are very reasonable. Be sure to take your own bags or you can buy bags or use free boxes from the store. They also have phenomenal 3 day madness sales! If you havent shopped here, youve got to check it out, especially the meat department.

Pricing is a key factor, some off brands but some times you find those items to be as good as name brands!😉

Save a lot was really good. I was able to get what I was looking for. A pork butt and 4 slabs. I was waiting for that.

I like going into a store that is kept clean and everything is kept in the same place every time you go into. The prices and products are great, you can’t go wrong buying the produce here. I give this store five stars and two thumbs up!

You never find an empty shelf in this store. The staff are very friendly and prices are a tad cheaper here.

Way better than the Wilkinsburgh location, fresher and no foul smells when you walk inside. And the cashiers are so nice.

Its a discount grocery store, no frills, few name brand items. Shop here and youll save a lot (like what I did there lol). Watch your produce, not always a fair or better quality. Guaranteed I spent less than half if I had went to Walmart or Giant Eagle. Good place to go if you want to stock up on some items

Finding good deals on quality food is ever becoming a lost art, thankfully there are Save-A-Lot stores to provide just that. This location has fresh produce, meats, dairy, baked goods and more. The prices on these items are outstandingly low, leaving cash in your pocket for toiletries, which they also carry. Carts are large and plentiful, and are always brought into the store promptly. This is a great location for replenishing your food stores.

I like Save-A-Lot. Very comparable to Aldis, except that they carry name brand items and they have a nice meat selection. Not to mention that you can get an ice cold bottle of water for a quarter. Very pleasant employees, as well.

Some decent deals. While I was there today almost every isle had boxes and people restocking shelves making it hard to maneuver. Store employees are nice and curtious...

If I could leave no stars I would. Horrible service on a Sunday at the sav a lot in north versailles. If you are having a bad day dont take it out on a customer. Customer service should be at least greeted and have a good day. Experience was horrible. The cashier was am older blonde go to a different store if you want better service!

Not a big selection. Not very clean. Ample parking. Was not happy with this trip, and shared. NEXT DAY- The owner responded to my rating. That in its self, i was quit surprised. For him personally to take time to read, and reply, in my opinion says alot! He obviously does care about his customers opinions. Obviously it does make him more money for consumer satisfaction, but to want to know what I think would help, says alot about him. I will be going back this weekend, which i wasnt going to do. Was there early this morning to buy 3/ 12 packs of blue bubba cola..I generally always encounter the same Blonde cashier. She is excellent. Always Kind and friendly. Store is also so very clean.

The store is kept relatively clean. The produce is great for the price and normally fresh. Also I love the meat Dept. It is one of the best around. I would buy the meat from there rather Walmart and the other stores around.

This Save-A-Lot had a wide variety of food products & other products that would be great gifts for last minute shoppers. Store was clean, although aisles were close together. It has ample Handicap parking and is Handicap assessable.

Its a grocery store with great deals on meats and poultry, but offer non name brand items. I would suggest you get your meats here, but not much else!

They have everything, always more than one lane open, people are actually working instead of hiding in the garden section facetiming. Like the grocery super center near by.

Pleasantly surprised by sale. Prices were great on everyday items.

The woman was not friendly at all. She was upset when told I didnt want something because the price was not what I saw, she threw items in my basket and never gave me a receipt. When I tried to ask her for the for it, she ignored me and proceeded to help the next person while I was still in line. I shop there every week. I have never seen her and everyone there is normally helpful. If she doesnt like dealing with customers she should not be in retail.

Dairy is more expensive there than at WAL-MART. Brought bad potatoes there; now leery of their veggies. Bananas are pricey, too. Occasional meat specials but little else to merit a visit.
