My exhaust pipe fell off of my Toyota tundra. Had it towed to Lia Toyota to see about putting it back on. They destroyed the exhaust pipe and catylitic converter when they tried to move it. Then they offered to fix it all for $10,000. They charged me $60 for looking at it. Dont trust these people.

The shop I would normally take my car to be inspected was not doing inspections the day I went to get one. I saw that Lia did inspections and no one was waiting in front of the bay, so I figured it wouldnt be too long. More than 1.5 hours later I found out it failed for a license plate light out., fine...its an easy fix.Ok, so I get it repaired and bring back to Lia and they take another 1.5 hours to just look at the light to check that it works to give me a sticker. Ridiculous. I would not recommend anyone to get an inspection here unless they have time to waste.

My 2005 Tacoma had a steering problem. I knew what the problem was and dropped it off without an appointment. Service Rep. David S. called me a few hours later and confirmed the part needing replacement and walked through the cost with me. Very honest and professional. Ive been using Lia since 2005 and always felt treated with respect and never disappointed in their workmanship. Great job Lia!

Unprofessional. I got a call from Lia Toyota of Northampton saying they have a car that we were looking for and they want to make an appointment. The person on the phone even provided some details about the vehicle. We managed to find a babysitter for our baby and went there the next morning. We were told that they have no such car. They said they hire a third party to make such calls and often do these to get customers to the dealer. So, be aware!

The sales person Michael really fought for me, he helped me to get a good price, I would like to give him 5 star for his help. However when they said they would deliver my new car to me, I thought there would be a trailer, it turns out a driver drove my new car 100 miles to me. If I could know this earlier, I would drive the 100 miles myself, for this part I’m not very happy about it.

Service department is total mess. My vehicle had an engine light on, They said this could be as simple as gas cap and can be fixed pretty easily, we checked my gas cap together with Jonathan and it was open, he said it could be just that, If not they would check everything else and let me know. I received a call after 20-25 minutes saying that Charcoal canister has to change and the cost is $1479. I just didn’t believe it and went to other places. There was no problem with my vehicle’s engine! They simply tried charging me for nothing! I called him to say how dissatisfied I am and he hanged up on me! I didn’t care about the diagnosis charge, I just wanted to hear reasonable explanation! This could have been fixed easily!! Lia doesn’t miss any opportunity to disappoint ! Great job 👏🏻

It must be REALLY hard to hire people these days because this place is definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel. Completely inept and unprofessional staff, lacking in knowledge and customer service skills and even the basics of human dignity and respect. In short, the toilet bowl of car dealerships. I tried several times to reach out to someone about selling them my deceased mothers car. They called me back trying to sell me a car and when I told them what we needed they said a manager would call. The did not. I went to the dealership IN PERSON to ask if I could talk to a manager. I was told I would have to bring them the car to even talk to them.My mother bought her car from here and was a loyal customer, I will never go here and I will tell all I know to go anywhere else. This is why places like Carvana are winning the market, sad.

Thank you for being amazing!TL;DR: Customer satisfaction is their top priorityI went to Lia Toyota of Northampton without an appointment when passing through from Vermont to New Jersey with a complicated issue. Despite being busy, six people from several departments helped me figure it out.The service department using only a vague description of the issue wisely had Fran from the sales department troubleshoot the issue because my problem (a Toyota Connection issue) was something that she helps new buyers set up. She got Toyota HQ on the phone and was able to us narrow down the issue. Once she determined it was something vehicle (not an account) issue, she flagged down a service team member to run a diagnostic.Even though we were hooked up to a travel trailer, they had us drive around to the back to service us! My wife and I waited in our trailer while they solved the problem.When they were done, Justin gave us all the paperwork we needed to get the fix at our next destination (the part needed would have come next day and we were not going to stay in the area.) While waiting, two mechanic chatted it up with us and put air in our travel trailer tires just as a courtesy.Everyone (across several departments) we encountered there were so helpful and genuinely interested in making sure they solved our problem.They made a huge impression on us and if we ever are in the area again I will be giving then our business.

Sales manager, in an attempt to pressure me, told me that 99 out of 100 people who walked out without putting a deposit down never came back, and that he hoped I was different.If 99 out of 100 people dont come back unless they are financially obligated, it is not a good sign. High pressure manipulative sales tactics. Also the sales associate gave me false information about features I wanted in order to sell me a higher priced model.0/10, do not recommend

Not a good buying experience at all. Sales person Fran didnt know how to remote start the car told us it only worked on the app. Fortunately we did our homework and was able to figure it out. Negotiated the price to was told by Fran that the car can not be discounted anymore than what it already was. Told us our car depreciated to much so they cant move on the trade in but was able to give us 500.00 more. cant give us the Roof crossbar. minor details to scheme of things. Waited over an hour to sign all paper work. was told that Lia dealership in Massachusetts dont work in conjunction with Lia dealerships in Connecticut. so they need to make appointment at DMV to register our new car. they will call next day to let us know when. Next day comes no call, we had to call them to find out when. talked to Fran which she said she handed all she did to the next person. talk to the next person. no schedule was made yet. got a text from them schedule was made for a week later. Fine. week goes by on the date of said appointment. got a text, Gary was going to deliver car . then nothing all day. we called Lia complaining about no communication. was told by Fran registering a car can take up to 6 hours at the DMV and up to a month to deliver a car to us that we signed for already and on top of carrying insurance for the new car and our trade in that is sitting in our driveway. We were told no one knows what happened but something happened we werent going to get our new car that day. another appointment had to be made, but they were able to make it for the next day. finally new car registered and delivered. but we received half a tank of gas when the paper work signed said we will get a full tank of gas on delivery. and now the new car has over 200 miles on the odometer. when we signed the paperwork and test drove the car it had 11 miles on the odometer. Never again will I buy from Lia Toyota or Lia dealerships.

She even helped me with estimates when my 2005 Tacoma was totaled. Recently, my truck was in for recall service and Lia provided me with a very nice Rav-4, free of charge. I visited a week ago and just so happen to work with Grant one of the sales agents. He was extremely helpful, courteous, and even came in on his day off to close my deal. Unfortunately, due to errors on my trade in title, I wasnt able to close the deal. Grant contacted me the next day to alert me of my security deposit and when it would be mailed out. I regret not being able to purchase, but Ill never forget how I was treated and Grants willingness to go above and beyond. When I am fully prepared to purchase again, Ill definitely go back to Lia Toyota!

I called the dealership about a Tacoma I saw on their lot. They said come on in. I had a deal with a neighbor dealer (Balise) and these folks at Alia went up and beyond to get me into this truck. Had an expectable experience buying my vehicle, but nothing but problems since then. Still haven’t been mailed my registration 6 months later. Took it in for the first service, waited 3 hours with an appointment and they scratched my car. Now weeks later a tire is going flat, the same one that leaked before. They didn’t even rotate my tires and hung up on me when I called to ask about it.

The check in process was not my best experience. This was my first visit to here, so first impressions were not great. I waited several minutes before I was directed to visit another desk deeper into the garage. After 10 minutes without checking in or being able to speak with anyone, I was pretty confused. Once I was recognized and waited on, I felt better. The representative was polite and helpful. The waiting area was small but comfortable. The total wait time was actually better than I expected. My service and bill were explained well by the rep. The check out process was definitely better than the check in. A few days after my visit, I received a text message from the Service Manager that asked how my visit was. I sent a text back, similar to what you see here, and never got a reply. I will go back in the future but I hope theyre listening, and work on the check in process. Absolutely deplorable! I got treated with absolutely no respect. I made an appointment, confirmed my appointment a half hour before showing up and they still had no clue who I was or why I was there. I waited for over an hour for the sales woman to figure herself out. By the time she had got the car around and put the plate on a man who came in after me had already put a deposit down on the vehicle and went for the test drive I should have been taking. Then the woman tried to talk me into a more expensive older vehicle with more mileage that wasn’t even cleaned yet. It still had fast food garbage in it and there was a light on the dash. I waited over 2 hours in this dealership and was ignored and walked by time and time again AND to have the car I made an appointment to see go sold right our from under is down right wrong. What a huge waste of my time. Would never EVER recommend anyone shop at this dealership

My car has been at Lia Toyota of Northampton since August 19 and its September 14th. A mouse shredded my engine harness and it needed to be replaced. Luckily it was covered by insurance. So they did the estimate, and i signed a contract with my insurance company and Lia Toyota that the money to repair the car would go straight to them. So instead of behaving like all the other car dealerships out there Lia actually forces the customer to wait until the physical check comes to them. This is after a contract was already signed and the estimate was completely approved. My insurance company took my rental back 7-10 business days before I will get my car bc Lia Toyota of Northampton’s policy is so out of the norm and unfair. I will repeat the facts. 1) The insurance company has signed a legally binding contract with Lia confirming they would pay the entire claim. This means they have to pay it, its Geico 2) All other dealerships would have released the repaired vehicle at this point. I know, I’ve had experience 3) Lia lied and said that my insurance adjuster wasn’t doing her job but they are liars. She followed conventional protocol 4) I have no car for the 7-10 business days it will take that check to get to them. 5) they price gouge anyway.I will be reviewing them everywhere to get the word out. This is not how you run a business. I used to work for an insurance company, Lia is not being up front about their selfish, disgusting “business practices”. I will be taking my car to Springfield from now on thank you,. This whole thing stinks of corruption and price gouging wth zero attention to the customers needs and standard operating procedures.Update left a message for the manager David and he still hasn’t called me back.

Will never go back. I gave them a list of what I could afford right now. I also wanted a yearly inspection. Some of the items on my list could have waited. They completed the list before calling me to tell me that I needed to have something done to pass inspection. This item is one that would never be checked when getting inspected. Had nothing to do with emissions. They held my inspection hostage. They couldnt tell me this before starting. Isnt that how it should be done. Greed.

We purchased our 2020 Prius from Lia Toyota in October 2020. It was a super hectic and competitive time to buy a new car; the manufacturer was offering incentives to unload new 2020 vehicles during a pandemic economy. We found the car we wanted online as all the dealerships near us were sold out. I Yelped this dealership and read about how great working with Jerzy was so I asked for him by name. Jerzy had a crazy day and had been inundated with customers all day but when I explained that we were interested in the car and lived almost 2 hours away, he confirmed its availability, we agreed on a price and he gave his word that he would hold it for us. We went the very next day, test drove it, and were ready to buy. Since Jerzy was swamped, one of the managers (Jared) wrote up the sales contract and all the paperwork. Both Jerzy and Jared were great to work with, friendly and helpful. Jared even recommended local sights for when we picked up the car to make a day trip out of the area with our kids. They offered delivery but we naturally wanted to drive our new car ourselves. The wait times were a bit long because of how busy the dealership was but service was great. The dealership was expansive, clean and felt pandemic safe. We were walked through the service area and booked our first service appointment at their office. Their business office even sent us a small refund check for what we overpaid in registration fees. Aside from the usual car salesmanship tactics of trying to (1) get us to sell our old car to them and (2) convince us to finance with the dealer to make some extra margin, we were very happy to buy our car from Lia. Working with Jerzy is like buying a car from your grandpa - no hard sells and a smattering of advice along the way. Ask for Jerzy!

I didnt know if I would be able to get into anything that I would like however Noah went the extra mile and really tried to get me into something I would love. This is my first purchase for a car in 16 years. And the first new car purchase since 1980. Francesca Ravina was my sales agent, and she worked in tandem with everyone on staff to make sure this was a good experience for me. I appreciate how much research she did, attending to every detail. I definitely recommend her as a sales agent. Its also nice to see women in the workplace too.

Man if I could give more than 5 stars I WOULD! These guys came in clutch with a special order TRD Pro 4Runner for me. My sales guy Noah really came through because I thought I would have to wait 6 months to get the truck but this guy managed to move things around and how he did it Im not sure but we got out vehicle in less than a week! I will 100% be coming back and will recommend Lia to anyone who wants a great car buying experience!
