They never have shelves stocked! They have their carts with boxes to be put on the shelves all over the store which makes it hard for shoppers get to what theyre trying to buy that might be actually on the shelves. 2 Sundays ago I went in and the check-out line was almost lined up to the entry doors. They only had 1 employee working. By the time I finally got to the register the line was all the way back to the entry doors. I counted 22 people waiting in line. Many customers just put down what they were wanting to purchase and left the store. I asked the cashier if she couldnt call for someone to open the other register. She said she was the only one there till 1:00.....it was 12:20 then. I rarely ever go in that Dollar General (Fosters, AL) even thought its the closest one to us in that area. I normally drive an extra 9 mile to a different Dollar General.

Employees friendly. Great location. Undergoing management turnover, so very low on stock and hard to navigate blocked aisles right now; but they are busy working hard doing inventory, cleaning, and stocking shelves!

Every time I go in there something Im looking for is not stocked. Apparently they close early as well. Pulled up about 10 min before close, and the employees were at the counter, but one walked up to the door that was already locked and said theyre closed.

I was refused access to the restroom in a very rude way.

Some items are inexpensive, a rare find in this college town.

It is easy to get to, large selection, and keeps me from going to a large grocery store!

I shop here at least every other day. The staff is friendly, helpful, and overall pleasant. Sometimes its a little busy, but I dont mind. They almost always have what I need or if not, its usually on order and will be in store with a day or 3 at most.Id much rather go here than the dreaded Walmart...

We love Dollar General. They great values for quality products. We stop by at least 6 times a week.

This store is the new walmart to me. They are getting more things and upgrading. I love the prices and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable

7/30/18 3:13 p.m, happened about 30 min ago.So the wireless Bluetooth headphones I purchased would not hold a charge longer than 20 minutes, so I bought another pair from Wal Mart and tried to return the others back at DG. The guy in line in front of me successfully returned a can of 409, half used for all we know, but when he walked off and I said I needed to make a return also.. the look on her face was like ‘yea, no’ before I even showed her what I was returning. Then I did show her, and she asked what was wrong with them. I told her, and then she proceeded to tell me that they don’t do returns on electronics (can’t find that policy anywhere online) and that I would need to trade for another pair. So let me get this straight.. I could potentially buy a can of Febreze and make my home and car smell wonderful before getting my $ back and basically stealing air freshener.. but I can’t return an electronic that doesn’t work to begin with. That makes a whole lot of sense.. Plenty of dollar trees and Walmart’s around here. Dueces ✌🏻

This specific Dollar General is never fully stocked and its often unorganized at times....It have different brands from most stores.
