TIP- Everyones struggling during the pandemic, typically businesses have management that doubles up until the job is done. Not having enough staff is not an excuse. Make the work place fun and give incentives, even the smallest, to encourage more help but dont settle on 1 employee, that can break the entire business. Pushing positive, pushing employees, not settling can literally keep dollar general stocked, clean, and more productive for both employees and customers. Store was unpleasant to say the least!

Always helpful to me for finding items, quick in and out, love it

The general was, in fact, dishonorably discharged. I myself had close to 27 dishonorable discharges in a single day in the restrooms at the Dollar General, and the kind, loving staff was there to cheer me on for almost every single episode as I narrowly avoided the horrors of accidentally-shat JNCO jeans, which are awesome beyond belief. The wideness of my predominantly un-shat jeans allowed me unfettered access to great one-dollar deals. I would sacrifice massive, faceless numbers to obtain these sweet-as-molasses deals, all while dying from dysentery. Lets face it. Dollar General has the best deals in town, but I shitted the living shit out of myself 14 million times in 73 seconds, every day for 7 seconds, every second of every seventeenth day, for days and moments of every day. Eat shit, asshole, but dont ever fuck with the Dollar General. DO NOT FUCK WITH THAT DOLLAR. Dont do it. DO IT, AND DO IT NOW. Love dollars? Yup! Go to it now. Enjoy a dollar, but do not do bad shits. They love you.

Lacks in cleanliness for sure. Always seems under staffed. There are many perks of having a well staffed store that this DG and many other DGs would benefit from. The products I need are typically available.but its hard to want to buy products from displays that look like this tho. Id say an after hours cleaning party should be arranged.

Everyone that works at this Dollar General (Sherman near McCracken) is very friendly and treat you like family. I come here because I can get just about everything at DG that I can get in the larger supermarkets. I can get in and out quickly. No long waiting lines. DG items are quality products and fairly priced. I highly recommend this Dollar General.

Stood in line for a while as employees walked past me and 3 other customers. The manager was to busy flirting with the chip guy to bother with us.

Only 1 star. Employees not wearing mask not really enforceing it with customers, clearance boxes all over floor. Poorly run business. Stood to check out while 3 employees with their back to me talkef about a delivery man they dont like. Wont go bsck there

This store gets more and more disorganized and chaotic by the day.Consistently short staffed. Cant blame the workers. I personally would quit. So kudos to them for sticking it out.

Good product and a great value for the price. Convenient locations, nice employees with good customer service. Very limited on the selection, and somewhat tight hours for the type of store... I do and will ship here still

It was close . we needed a few personal items . low prices is another reason. Personnel was very helpful. Easy in and out . free parking . accessibility entrance dont know about restrooms . they do have restrooms though.

One of the better Dollar General. Shelves are always stocked and employees are friendly. They get another point for being clean.

I would never recommend this store to any one. It is dirty all the time the store manager runs her mouth about all her employees and there business. She also makes her minor employees sell alcohol because she gets tired of coming up to do it herself. She makes a lot of false promises and I know she is the only one who has been there the longest because everyone who has worked for her has quit because know one likes her. You would think being dollar general and going through employees you would start to wonder. But stay away from the one on Sherman by Mangos and if anyone is interested in working there I would not recommend.

First time shopping at that location it was nice and i found everything i was looking for fast and easy.

Henry street store lost store manager and most of staff. If DG would pay a living wage maybe they could keep experienced staff.

Rude customers. One was even shoplifting and they walked out the door.

Tina is always awesome here at the Sherman Muskegon store ! Personable, friendly, helpful and just a delight to walk in and see her working here. Wish she had been the store mgr. here this last 2 years. I almost gave up shopping here it was that bad. This lady needs to be a store mgr. Dollar General missed the boat with this one becauseshe goes aboveand beyond in customer service. Love Kevin too ! But I know this is his pt job. Thank you for being in our neighborhood. This store is always a mess. Looks like a garage sale. Ive never been there when it doesnt look like Black Friday aftermath. Last night was the last straw as we stood in line, they opened another register and took the person behind us. We left our merchandise and went down the street to Walgreens.
