Truly great and honest service!! Im a AAA member and was recommended this shop. I was having issues starting my car, sometimes it wouldnt start and I had the battery checked elsewhere and it was fine so I took it to A-Lux to have them troubleshoot the issue and within a minute they were looking at my car and found the problem was in fact the battery. They were truly helpful and went the extra mile to make sure I knew all my options and they got my car starting right consistently.

Overall a very good buying experience. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure that we were happy with the vehicle. They fixed the rear hatch of the car that we purchased prior to pick up. My only complaint was that it did not appear that any general service work was performed prior to the sale. I replaced the air filter and it looked like it had been years since it was previously replaced if ever at all. It was filled with dirt and grime, Im surprised the car wasnt starving for air. But as far as the buying experience goes it was very good!

Mike & Neal helped me with an oil leak today. Wonderful Service! ~First of all, I came in yesterday after work and didnt quite have time to get my car serviced... but they went above and beyond and offered to fill up my oil for the long 2-Hour drive home I had ahead of me so that my car didnt pay the price. I so appreciated this, as they didnt charge me for that.When I went in today, I dropped my car off and within less than thirty minutes they called me to let me know the good news that it was a faulty oil filter causing the issue... After some clean up and an oil change, my car was ready to go.Mike gave me a price, and then marked it down for me - As I do not have a lot of extra funds, this was more than helpful! ~Thank you guys, keep up the good customer service. :)

After a string of unfortunate events at another dealership, I came to A-Lux Auto hoping to purchase a car -- successfully -- and I wasnt disappointed. Hamid was friendly, helpful and didnt have any shortage of personal stories from his own past experiences working in the industry. Id absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to avoid the sleazy norm of used-car dealerships.

We bought a Volvo back in February. My husband found it online. We test drove, bought it and brought it home. I was a little sketch that it would fall apart, a too good to be true type of thing. So far, it has not had any problems and is still running great.

Nothing positive nor negative to share.On the first round they did not seem to really care about the sale, called on a Saturday and a sales person told me they close soon when according to the owner that was not the case. On the second pass I went in around 12noon and their was not anyone available to do an appraisal to help me out.Finally on my third attempt going of the online text app I was able to speak with the owner directly. I was not able to get what I wanted but at least it wasnt a bad experience.

I purchased a car from this place and bought the extended warranty and when something happened to my car they told me the warranty wouldn’t cover anything and they made no effort to help out they made things more difficult. When I tried to get things explained to me they told me they no longer wanted to talk to me and refused to work on my car even tho I offered to pay for the service myself I had before given them 5 stars but nick and Hamid don’t even deserve this one star if I could I would give them 0. They act one way when they are selling the car to you but they’re completely different when your car needs something repaired. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and stay away from these people they can’t be trusted.

I bought a 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan for a low price and it was so well kept and even got the warranty through them at a great price. Hamid and Nick were very thorough and helped greatly with financing, and did what they could to get me the car at the price i could afford, i couldnt have expected such great hospitality and assurance from any car lot. If you are nice to people they will nice to you.I did see all the reviews before I went. First it was the price that took me there. Then it was their service and knowlege that kept me. If you dont know about cars take someone with you that does like I did. It wasnt nice of reviewers to blame others on their shortcomings.

I dealt with one of owners through the entire sales process. Got a great deal on a used 2011 Jetta. During the purchase I noticed a few minor paint chips in the bumper. I left after purchasing the car and when I came back to pick it up he had taken it upon himself to touch up the paint for free. He said if the paint dries and doesnt look right to bring it back. Ill replace the whole bumper if I have to he said. It dried just fine and looks good. Great service, Ill definitely check out their inventory next time I need a used car.

Be careful what you buy from this dealership because I recently purchased a vehicle from there and I went home and I realized that the thing wasnt working, I called him like 10 times they didnt even want to respond the problem at the end they made me pay to get it fixed. I bought a pick up truck on Saturday. There is a small problem with the pump, the dealer said they will fix it so i schedule pick it up on Monday. I receive phone call from them around 6 oclock on Monday when i am on the way to pick up the car. They told me the mechanic drink too much over weekend and went to hospital. I am not in hurry so I said it is OK, I can pick it tomorrow. So on Tuesday I called before leaving, they told me they order the wrong part. Again, I am not in hurry so i said its ok, but i need the truck on Thursday morning so just make sure i can get it by Wednesday. On Wednesday, the owner called me, said they order the wrong part again and they cant let me pick up the truck until Thursday noon, he said he will try to work something out and call me back.The problem never been solved and he hang up on me when i called. I cant complete my work on Thursday because of this. And for all the problem i had with them, there is no compensation. Such a bad experience

They STOLE from my center console and didnt even fix my car...I just got an oil change before coming to A-lux auto. I came to diagnose a check engine light. After they check the codes they tell me what they have to fix, and I agree. All of a sudden they tell me I need to do a $90 oil change because my oil is really bad. I decline because I just had it done at another location who recommended A-lux to me. Now I dont trust either place and checked my oil myself. Turns out A-lux was trying to RIP me off and after they remove the check engine codes I find my car returned to me with fast food trash in my passengers seat and christmas gifts missing from my center console. They stole my cash too!!DONT GO TO A LUX AUTO. If you do, dont leave anything important in your car. It might go missing and the owner wont admit any responsibility or compensate in any way, even though the car is in his lot.I want to give 0 stars. 1 star is being too generous.

Bought a 2011 Mini Cooper S from A-Lux two weeks ago. Very happy with the purchase. A-Lux is not like your typical used car dealers. No pressure to buy, very friendly and helpful staff (ask for Angelo) and the whole transaction was very pleasant. Definitely made the 3.5 hours drive from San Diego (on a Friday afternoon) a worthwhile trip. If I am looking for another car, I will be calling A-Lux.
