I had a screw in my tire at 5pm on my way to get my kids. They fixed me up at an affordable rate, and had me on the road within MINUTES. They’re the best.

I made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation at 9am. I asked about the estimate time of completion. The guy at the desk assured me that it would be completed by 11:30am. I planned my return for the vehicle at 11:15am. The same guy at the desk told me that it should not be much longer. At 12pm, I got the keys to my car. The guy at the desk excuse was that he had a new guy on the job. The comment cemented my confidence more in lack of competence and efficiency. This place promises and then just does not deliver. Hope being new, there is a great sense to improve and impress the customer.

Cheap tires no doubt. Service TERRIBLE. Sent our guy in to get tires on at 330pm. Called us to replace studs (which they did not replace but we were charged for) our guy waited for hours to get tires on. They close at 8 pm. They were gonna leave our guy stranded no way home and keep truck because they didn’t get to it in the 4.5 hours he sat there!!!! Finally our employee let them know he wasn’t leaving truck there to put the tires on. Needless to say tires were out on studs were NOT replaced and during a big winter storm our tire they put on FELL off while plowing!!!! Highly do not recommend!!! We spend $$$$ on truck tires every year for company vehicles def going to find a new place. The rim’s of the tires they did NOT tighten lug nuts on that fell off are now bent. We cannot find the rims anywhere. They were working with us to find rims but have stopped talking to us. None of the lug nuts were tightened on any tires. We took the vehicle to our mechanic who couldn’t believe any of the tires stayed on!!!! STAY AWAY from this place!!!!

While visiting Norwalk for a day, I got a flat tire. I was busy all day and by the time I got the chance to address the tire, it was 5:30 on a Saturday. They close at 6 but took me in, assessed the problem and sent someone almost 30 minutes away to get 2 new tires for me because I have a rare low profile tire that was not in stock, then stuck around to get my new tires installed. I cannot thank them enough. They went above and beyond to take care of their customer.

I just want to express how much the guys in Norwalk helped us out in a time of need. I work retail and the worst thing is a customer keeping you after when you have already spent all day at work. Because of a mixture of my husbands erratic driving skills and a pothole we ended up with a flat tire. Steve the manager at Tirechoice walked across the street to see if he could help. He helped put our spare on and invited us over to see if he had a tire instock. Well as luck has it they had no tires in stock so they called around to there sister stores to locate one. The closest store was in Sandusky about a hour trip there and back he was willing to do for us to get our family back on the road. Btw the store closed 25 minutes ago and was willing to spend another hour and a half for a car full of strangers he could of easily turned his back on but didnt. The young kid (sorry forgot his name) found one in stock so they were able to get us back on the road. He didnt try and sell us the most expensive whatever he even gave us a discount because of our limited funds. I respect that!!!! We live 2.5 hours away but when we need tires or repairs I will make the drive back to Tirechoice to see our new friends. At no time anyone made us feel as we were any type of inconvenience and showed nothing less then compassion for us. Tirechoice you have a good crew working and you can tell they mesh very well together. I have a thank you package on its way to you guys. Thank you again

Very poor service. They broke the cable on my hood latch, failed to tell me my back tires were half the tread of the front and cracked- but rotated and put the bad tires on the front of my FWD car (it was listed on the paper but the service tech mentioned nothing when I picked it up). I told them we had just purchased the car a few days ago and wanted it looked over also. A rattle in the front end I asked them to check out they said the car was fine- two other mechanics have since disagreed. Dropped my car off at 930 for scheduled appt and never got a call. I called 5 hours later to be told “I thought I called to tell you it was done haha”Do NOT recommend.

I arrived at Monroe’s and was immediately greeted by Sean in a very friendly and welcoming manner. I stopped in for a simple oil change before my trip to Avon to purchase 4 new tires from a different establishment. Sean assured me that he can provide me with a competitive quote in order to save me the long drive. He presented me with a quote that I couldn’t resist. His integrity and exceptional service convinced me to inquire a quote for the sound that just began to develop in the muffler of my vehicle as well. Sean once again provided a fair and honest quote for the muffler. I decided to proceed with the repairs & the new tires as well. His technician explained the entire procedure prior to beginning the work. The repairs were completed and the tires were installed in a timely manner. Manager Sean Doherty was the absolute best auto Care person that I have worked with. He was quick, efficient and very courteous. He went over everything for me after looking at my vehicle and gave me options for everything. I’ve always used Monro since I moved here 8 years ago. And as always they never disappoint! My car tire had a nail in it and I called around trying to find a place to get my tires replaced (because they were old and I should have replaced them MONTHS ago). Not only did Sean get me in to have them changed he also was able to change my oil after I canceled my appointment. And they got it done right as they closed!

Stopped in for an oil change, was told they couldnt do it that day because they were short handed. They offered me an appointment for 11 the next morning. I brought it in then and they told me they were behind and it would be about two hours. Well, it took over 3 hours, for an oil change. I asked why it took so long and I was told that they were short handed and that an appointment only guarantees that it would be done the same day. He tried to make me feel better by telling me he did it himself to get it done. If they were behind why wouldnt he be helping out? I found it all ridiculous and will find somewhere else next time.

If you want your car fixed right, the first time, find another mechanic. I took my car in to have tire pressure sensors replaced. Sure they installed the sensors but did not have the equipment to program them. Store Manager Sean Doherty agreed that since his store could not program the sensors I was to take my car back to a GM dealership and have them do it and bring the bill back for a refund. I did just that and Monroe Auto refused to issue the refund. Not only that, totally unprofessional work. They gave my car back and did not rebalance the tires. So when I picked the car up to go to work I had to drive with wobbly tires and got a flat front tire. I took the car to Mr. Tire in Sandusky an affiliate of Monroe Auto Service. Mr. Tire in Sandusky told me I had a faulty valve stem installed by Monroe Auto Service, Norwalk. Store Manager Sean Doherty Agreed to a refund and never sent a check. If a Store Manager wont stand behind his word... think about the quality of the work from his shop. 5 hours of my time wasted at 2 other auto repair shops to correct a job I paid Monroe Auto Service to do. I can assure you Ill never go back here.

Waited for almost 2 hours. Assumed they were putting the brakes on my car. Nope, they were looking at it. There are 4 people here and only 2 cars in the garage

I needed a tire changed and had the wheel off the car. I had to find a used tire for my BMW Z3 because the one rear was cut and the Potenza model I needed was discontinued. I still want the rear tires to match so I found a perfect one and wanted it put in. The customer service representative behind the desk has no interest in helping me once he knew I did not want to buy a new tire from him. Turning away customers and being disinterested in customer service in this day and age is unacceptable. Plenty of other companies that will happily take my money. I took a chance on your store since you were open on Sunday but doesn’t look like you actually want to do any work on Sunday.

Sean was a great help. We limped in from Minnesota and he let us stay behind the shop with our travel trailer. Ended up buying a new vehicle from the Ken Ganley Dodge dealer down the road. Sean took great care of my mom and I from out of town.

Made appt online based on their website saying what tires they had in stock only to be called the morning of appt and told o we dnt have those in stock... after saying that isnt what your website says he said O.. and offered some brand Ive never heard of that had really bad reviews.. now why would i want those junk tires .. shouldnt be that hard to have an accurate count on what you have and dont have in stock... especially if youre running specials on the tires I wanted 🤦‍♂️

If youre on a budget and need good and quick service, this is the place to go. Ive come here for my two most recent oil changes and Im really happy with the service Ive gotten. They let me know both times that I would be needing a battery soon, and gave me the price, but I appreciate the fact that they werent pushy about it. I did decide to get the new battery the second time, and they still got me in and out really quick and at a fair price.

My regular tire shop is closed due to Covid-19 so I had to find another shop to mount and balance new tires on my CJ5. Monro was able to get me in quickly and did a great job at a fair price

Ive just had all around great experiences here. We just got our truck back from them, and decided not to move forward with the repair. Their price was fair, but because they are a real major shop, they only do the job right. I dont really want to do it right on my beater truck, I just want a quick fix.They gave me no qualms or problems, and said goodbye with a handshake.Last year, I had an issue with one of my two seaters. They were great to replace the battery and some cabling. They did a fast job for a great price. I drive past the place all the time, and really take for granted what they offer, and their friendly environment- even when I pass on the service.

Honestly, zero stars, from terrible customer service, to shabby work. I had exhaust work done that ended up breaking. they claim they guarantee their labor, but i took it back to have the work they did repair, and got refused because someone else had worked on the car too. Mind you, only the work that was done at monro broke, and almost caused a bad accident. then the technician starts yelling and screaming, and threatening me. worst experience at an autoshop in my life. place is a joke. do NOT go here.

I ended up in between a rock and a hard place. No one else in town could help me out untill I met Sean Doherty who is the service manager at Monroe in Norwalk. Not only did he help me find the right tires, he stepped out of the office and changed my tires out with a floor Jack because all of the service bays were full. He went way above and beyond what he was required to do to help me out. He literally saved the day for me! I just wish more people were like him.Thanks sean!

I had some tires mounted there and they didnt change out the valve stems. Took the vechice back and told them that the tires are leaking from the valve stems. They said that I had to ask for new stems. When you get new tires you get new stems. But yet I was charged for them. Will not be going back.

Highly appreciative of the staff at this location. Went in to have tires installed and alignment done. When trying to do the alignment they broke the cam bolt and then ordered the wrong part to fix it. They admitted their fault and got my wife a rental car until they could correct the situation. They have my utmost respect for making a bad situation right! I highly recomend!

My family and I were up visiting the area when we had break problems. I had searched for places open Sunday morning, which this establishment was.I asked if we brought it over, could it be fixed before Sunday night so that I could get home (about 2 hours away).The technician assured me it could.It took a little longer than he had hoped because I had lost my break pads entirely and the caliper was grinding on the wheel, and the team at Monro, was able to work past working hours to get it repaired and took the time to show me the screws in my tires and everything they saw on the phone.I really appreciated the extra mile the team here went and would definitely recommend them!

Dylan at the Norwalk, Oh location is awesome. Gave us a great price on breaks and helped us out on a wheel bearing when we were strapped for cash. Great customer service, great work and definitely plan on going back for the rest of our work needed!

During a cross-country trip in late May 2017 we had muffler issues and had a temporary repair done as they did not have the full replacement muffler for our Subaru. The mechanic also recommended work on the CV joint. We had the work done, but apparently the part was not correct and 6 hours down the road we had to be towed off the highway and were faced with double the cost to repair the car. Buyer beware.

The employees were very upfront on what needed to be done and very honest and fair. My experience there was very pleasant. It is one of the few places today you can get real customer service.

Had a breakdown on the turnpike and made it to Monroe in Norwalk. The manager Troy called multiple places looking for parts and when they were not available until morning, he drove my family to the hotel. Vehicle was repaired early the next morning and came to pick me up. Overall great service - very impressed and highly recommend Troy and his crew.

I normally don’t give reviews but I have had several cars serviced by Troy and the Monro staff over the years. I have to say that I always leave happy and feel that the bill was more competitive than any other shop around. A few weeks ago I had my car towed to Monroe for a new tire and to figure out what the heck was wrong with it and Dylan was WONDERFUL! He communicated to me over the 4 days that it spent in their shop, explained everything to me that was wrong and needed fixed and why and made me feel comfortable having them do a very costly repair on my engine. I had myself convinced it was a different issue and was afraid to take it somewhere and have them take advantage of me(girl in an auto shop) but Dylan took the time to figure it all out. Ok place, kind of a pain to schedule appointment in an emergency situation

Came in with a flat tire with a cut on the sidewall. Friendly, helpful staff. They got me back on the road in no time with 2 new tires at a great price. We made it to Cedar Point right on schedule.

Awesome Service, fast and convenient. Oil changes, brakes, tires, I bring all 3 of my cars to them. The guys are great to work with and honest with me.

I drive 150-250 miles a day and have a difficult time setting appointments during my personal time. I stopped in on Monday as they were closing (I didnt know when they closed turns out it was 7). I stopped Tuesday at 6 and could see they were full and Dylan suggested I make an appointment. I never know what time I will get done working every day, so I declined. I returned on Wednesday at 4:30 to a full waiting room. Again Dylan was behind the counter and noticed my despair. I really needed tires and an oil change. Although they were very busy and likely really didnt have time to take care of my car, Dylan made it happen! Thanks to Dylan and all the people working there, I can safely drive my 250 miles tomorrow! I will always go to Monro from now on!

I had a problem with a tire and was unable to locate a new one in Norwalk and Troy came out to the parking lot and told me to let him move my car into the shop and put the spare on. Iwas a little bit worried after reading some past reviews but I had heard that there was new workers. I had a tire that went flat and I was running on a spare. I was past due for an oil change also. I was short on time and stopped to see if they could get me in. They were very friendly and told me that it wouldnt be a problem. Soon I was on my way. The prices were decent and I didnt feel taken agvantage of being a woman. I will use them again if the need arises.

My wife and I were on vacation and my brakes started making noise. I was there at opening time and the manager opened and informed me that they were booked for the day and were scheduling for the next day. I explained my situation and without hesitation he said he would get it right in. Turns out all it needed was new pads and the caliper pins greased. Less than an hour and $79.95 and I was back on the road. I cant remember his name, but this guy was super friendly and a major help. Thanks!

Morons run this shop. Couldn’t drive a stick shift, took a basically new car here for an oil change watched a greasy fat guy stall it out about 5x in a row before I had to basically tell him how to drive a manual. Lack information, quote you one price then add shop fees. Winds up being 20% more than quote, only positive note is the ice cream shop next door so I could soothe the burning feeling of the moron stalling out my new car 5x in a row making a 20 foot drive.

Troy was a big help and very kind and respectful. Showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and didnt try to fix anything that wasnt broken, pulled my car in the garage and began work as soon as I got there and i walked in with no appointment.

Called told me 19.99 oil change and tire rotation then tell me 37$ after job done saying they put premium oul in it !! Did you ask me? NO so then hes like ok ...we had to put 6 quarts in and the sale is for 5 ..again when I called I told you what my car was ... Never said it was going to be more !!! Can you say scam!?! Paid 31$. Got me once... Never again ! 🤬
