Love this market, its an experience.

I visited the meat counter, I asked for a specific cut, the lady who tended to me, was courteous, but was confused with my request, but another co worker suggested that she should ask the guy in charge of that section, and he complied with my request, which I really appreciated..

Nothing lasts. Queso fresco and crema goes bad within 2-3 days. What a shame. Never shopping here again.

They have really good quality items for less. Other market places over charge you. They focus on getting customers checked out quick to avoid long check out lines.

I like going to this Northgate Market because of their International section, they also have great hot food and a delicious cup of hot oatmeal for my morning commute. I get off on Imperial from the 605 fwy, you can also buy hot Mexican bolillos and hot Mexican bread, aside from a great selection of meats. I love Trader Joes and Sprouts but Northgate is on Top of my list.

Theres always a great selection and variety. The produce is always fresh. Its never been overcrowded when we have gone. They also have a friendly staff always willing to help out.

Everyone is always nice and friendly.

I have just moved to the area and went to the market for the first time. Very clean and I see they many things there. Mak fresh guacamole, hand made cheese and the meat and seafood section is amazing. They also make cakes.

This place is amazing! This place has all your household needs and more. The food is amazing, guacamole is bomb, and ceviche is very tasty. This is a place to visit if your looking to get a quick meal ready to go or just doing your weekday shopping. Staff is amazingly helpful, nice and welcoming.

Lobe this market it has everything we need from salsas to salads to ceviche to even the masa to make or buy your own tortillas. Fresh everything any and every fruit known to the Americas. Hit and ready food with great sazon for last min meals . To pre packaged meals to create at home, from the aguas fresca bar next to the torteria. To the fresh baked goods. This store is a great stop for the perfect gathering. Either to make yourself or buy it all made no matter what you wont be disappointed when you leave this store I call it Little Mexico in Norwalk. If you havent, go.

I sways come here at least twice a week and the meat department is fast. The food service is fast. The store is well managed and is the best north gate store in town.

The place is big and they have a great variety of ethnic products from latinamerica. The bakery is great, but the meat department is bit that great. I gave 3 stars because the place had potential to become better.

Excelente variety of groceries bilingual employees something that caught my eye they have an Asian lady making sushi i could imagine its good, i really recommend Sinaloa aguachiles you can find them in the prepared food section.

This is a great market specializing in Latino food. They have a huge carniceria with lots of pre-marinated meats and seafood. The tortilleria offers fresh-made corn and flour tortillas, masa, and tortilla chips. The bakery has a variety of fresh-baked bread, pastries, cakes, other desserts. The produce department is usually well-stocked with fresh fruits and veggies. On top of that, theres also a deli, a salsa bar, a tamale bar, a salad bar, and other prepared food you can purchase by weight. I feel like a kid in a candy store when I shop at this market.

Never didsapointing, aleays feels like home, at lrast6ine, lol. This chain keeps excelent and frienly service. Senior friemdly, patient and caring personnel, clean bathrooms available for clientelle.I jad the Pastpr quesadilla amd a green juice. YuM!

What an amazing store! My coworker brought me here for lunch one day and we now go several times a week! If you come here for lunch or dinner you must try the torta! So good. They have a wide selection of aqua fresca, about 20 different flavors! If you need something sweet for a snack stop by the bakery! They have so many different options to choose from! Do you happen to be hungry and in need of a Piñata? Well you are in luck! They also carry a good selection of Piñatas! The staff is friendly and helpful.

The ready to serve food area was amazing! This review is only for that and not for the grocery part.The ceviche counter had like 20 different kinds, including aguachile! Soo yummy. For the past 3 days at lunch, I had tried 3 different types of ceviche. All so delicious and much more affordable than eating similarly high quality ceviche at a restaurant! The menudo soup & Caldos were also my fav. Did i mention they have a fresh guacamole station? I bought the hot ones. So fresh & yummy! They also have fresh blended juices & 18 types of agua Frescas, plus many hot food items. There are about 20 seats just next to the check stands. I highly recommend this for quick lunch or buy for family meals.

This is really my favorite northgate location. All the fruits, veggies and meat are always fresh. Sometimes the prices are a bit higher than my local stater Bros Markets but its worth it. Aisles and products are usually well stocked. The workers are helpful when I have a question. Thank goodness the guy at the meat area announce both Spanish and English number names. I recently got to try their carne asada taco meat (shoulder meat) at a party and was very impressed. This past weekend I bought the taco ingredients and made them at home. Its was pretty amazing! Will continue to come for my Mexican food needs!

Its a real nice spot. Lots of pre made mexican food. Panaderia, carnicería, and a spot to get tacos, burritos, tortas and even pollo y carnitas. The freezer section aint too great but evrything else is awesome. The parking is lame...some people just dont know how to drive. Totally recommend.

Great Market to shop at. They have so much variety of foods and they even have a great selection of foreign foods. The market was very clean and really organized. All the employees were super friendly. They also have a great selection of hot meals. The food taste great. If your in the area and need groceries or just want to grab something to eat, stop by and try it out.

They line up their customers outside like animals. (If someone is afraid of a virus they are welcome to order online), inside the store smells horrible! What the hell are they selling.The primary language the workers speak is Spanish! This is the USA! Not Mexico! I was waiting for my meat, and they literally called out my number in Spanish! I almost missed it because of that. Horrible experience. Horrible store.

This people taking advantage of thier prices i bought ceviche, the lady who serve me put so much juice and less ceviche i ask her if she can take some out ...she reply upset saying we dont do that you must paid more if you want that .. They already charging alot for the pound now i have to pay more for something Im already paying wow i guess they care more about the money then the customers business Im going to superior now

Best supermarket in Southern California

One of the bigger Northgate markets in southern Cali. They have everything and lots of it. They have pre-made food from tamales to pozole. They have a large meat section. They make fresh tortillas here everyday.

Northgate in Norwalk is probably the cleanest and best stocked markets out there. They have good hot and ready food to eat, not including the delicious agua frescas. Love coming here when I dont want to cook

Very nice, clean and friendly people. Have been shopping here for a while. The customers is a different story dont be offended is the stand in your way, cut you off in line and be rude. But other than that is a nice place.

The store itself is your typical grocery store with some pretty good prepared food as well. The only down side is that they are getting more and more homeless and pan handlers there just asking for money. Its a shame because it just brings the shopping center and store down.

Busy, but checkout was quick. Lots of good precooked ready to take home options if you dont want to cook. Clean store, friendly staff.

One of my favorite stores for groceries, although sometimes the staff are not very friendly early in the morning. I guess they are not morning people. Anyways I highly recommend this place.

Thanksgiving turkey dinner package was sold-out at Stater Brothers but it was still available at Northgate market. Thanks to Northgate, my family will be able to enjoy turkey on Thanksgiving day.

The deli food is excellent, really good.. I got the chile verde it was delish with rice and beans..

I worked in this location bad customer service treat the employees bad and not getting there breaks when needed and there lunches especially the manager epi treat his emplyees like slaves he thinks about himself only and dont think about the benefit of his employees bad store and yes it does smell and there restrooms are nasty

The market wasnt too crowded and it was very clean on the inside. I like this market. My issue is I bought a bag of Flanigan Farms Natural Foods Mixed Nuts. They we stale. All of them. The sale by date is 06/16/21. I cant take them back because the store is very far from where I live. I guess the next time I buy nuts from a store I better taste them before I leave.

This is the best Northgate Ive ever shopped in!!! It is huge!! And beautiful inside and out!It has a huge bakery, huge deli, prepared food, even a hot lunch like a buffet type style, you get whatever you want and pay by the pound.The biggest plus, for me, was they had more vegan selection that I expected. Bonus!!Super market!!!

I lived in norwalk for 24yrs i was very happy when they brought north gate to our city i always fine everything i need for my home and family even on weekins such as today we love the variety of hot food and i got dinner for us ILOVE MY NORTH GATE WONT CHANGE IT FOR NORHING and fines my lottos also lol

The take out was very good, I was very surprised.

Busy but well-stocked, clean, and many check stands were open so the lines moved quickly.

Great place for meat. And also as a quick stop to get everything you need for a sunday get together yet for the same reason expect lots of people and waiting in lines.

Northgate. Feed your kitchen employees!!! I asked for level of spicy on a dish and they said no picaI got home... It was spicy!!!I couldnt feed my kids 😥This only happens because they cant eat what they are cooking unless they buyHave a weekly table in kitchen of 1 free item for them to try at lunch or have a code to get it free on lunch, make it specific on weight, hot food and size. Or something, Im sure you guys will have a better ideaBut its terrible that employees dont know the food

The cashier ask for a donations and charged me 10 extra dollars when I said no I only noticed in the car when I felt it was too much. Amparo was her name and its not the first time she makes me feel so awkward at the store you say no and she still ask not even a dallor so annoying and unprofessional.

Great store to shop for groceries. Its the best Latino store around for the area. They have a full service kitchen with many food options; theres also a sit-down area. The store has a full service bakery and pan dulce is made daily. The full service meat department has many options and the butchers will cut your meat to your liking. Theres lots more to the store and if you feel like checking it out, youll be pleasantly surprised. I love going to this place. Enjoy!

I went to Northgate Market to cash a check. Do to it being the weekend Northgate couldnt cash such a large check without verification, of course. So, they made a copy of the check and my id. They said as soon as they get the check verified, they would call me. They were very kind and understanding. I thank Northgate for their kindness.

Hot food service individual was rude( didnt want to b bothered) cashier only acknowledged me to take my money then continued talking to co worker. Parking lot a zoo carts everywhere. I did not like this location
