It is always empty when I go there so no waiting in line. I seldom see anything I want to buy other than snack foods. I looked the furniture over and it was pretty standard, plain & okay I guess. The store is clean and the staff seem very nice. Its a little odd that it is always empty. Plenty of parking, thats for sure.

It was a delight to shop at Big lots. Quick check out and Workers were friendly.

My gosh thought l was having a nightmare at big lots concerning a furniture mix up ...at first no one could help me with the confusion..this happened at the Norwich Connecticut store..l was at my witts end and had a serious problem.. l talked with several people at the store to see if we could solve this...but to my dismay no one could figure it out so l asked if l could speak to them district manager...Chris..he talked to me with kindness..as l cried to him he told me he would fix it.. he did..and he and his employees went above and beyond and fixed it..l was the happiest person at that monment..they are good people..l thank them from the bottom of my heart...l will always shop at BIG LOTS they are the best...thank you again Chris and associate..

Big lots is great get my squirrel peanuts there if you dont have too much friends and family you get a shout out on your birthday which I found pretty good made my day Big lots yay

Easy to shop, not too many people in the store. I was able to get my shopping list done, the prices were low

Customer service is amazing. Covid-19 did not knock the store out. They have a king size bed that Im going to purchase the whole set. Again outstanding customer service and the products is not bad either.

These stores are always understaffed. I will say Ive really never waited @ this store. The staff is nice & friendly. This store is also very clean & neat. The cashier cleaned the check out counter & keypad with every customer. You dont see that anywhere anymore. Bathrooms also very clean. Thankyou to all the staff @ Norwich. Great job!

They did the best the could with the furniture I bought. Explained all different kinds of payment plans and was flexible on the pick up date.

Always seems to have those incidental items. Maybe youll find something special.

Lots of great finds in this store! I particularly love the new home decor.. very stylish and great quality. I redid my bedroom and I got almost all the furniture, storage, and decorations I needed from here! I used my Big Lots credit card (which offers no interest when you spend $200+ in a trip and pay on time!!). I always find everything I need, or a reasonable substitute, for a great price. The employees are very friendly too! Great store.

I love this place and I always end up buying twice as much as I wanted to! But I only have myself to blame. The best deals I find are food items like canned goods, jarred items, spices, and all types of cosmetics.

This is one of my favorite places yo go they have variety of products to choose from and. The always have A deal!! Unique inventory and knowledgeable staff that will go the extra mile to get what you need..plenty of parking.

Big Lots has a pretty large variety of products at really affordable prices. I never really know what I will leave with when I visit but its never something I expect. This location is clean and well kempt.

Of all the Big Lots Ive been in is obviously new. The layout was spacious and the aisles huge. Lots of staff to assist. Lots of new product out on the Shelf. One complaint there were no carts inside the facility.

I purchased 2 book shelves. Trying to assemble them was absolute nightmare and stressful. The manufacturer didnt drill the holes through the shelves completely. Some of the shelves had the drill holes upside down. Then on top of all that the shelves were not completely finished as it shows in the picture. The first manager said it was photoshop to make you think you were getting all of it finished. Very misleading if that is what the manufacturer really did. The bookshelves were brought back but with a hassle. Their return policy says you can return anything for a full refund within 30 days with your receipt. The first manager was disrespectful and tried saying it was put together wrong. Then she tried saying never read the directions and then the stickers with the letters you are not supposed to go by. She was just coming up with every excuse she could. Then the older man that works in the furniture department was arguing trying to blame us for the shelf being put together wrong. He kept saying he has been building them for over 2 years. I called corporate and kept getting a run around. They said the district manager was going to call me back. But look over a month later no phone call from the district manager. I called several times to find out why the district manager never called and they said there was more than one and maybe they were leaving up to the other to return my call. In my opinion, none of the customer service representatives knew anything. So, we exchanged the 2 bookshelves and got 2 more. The box was damaged and I asked the older man that works in furniture if there were any damaged pieces in the box. He said there wasnt. Got home and opened the top of the box and the wood was split in half. I called Big Lots and told them how upset I was. Their response was bring it back. So, brought it back and the second manager offered to have the older man build one for me. I agreed. Left the store and came back later that night. I look at the bookshelf and there is huge scratches all over it and a big chunk of wood out of one of the shelves. I asked the manager what happened and she said he built it on the floor and that is how it got damaged. Too much stress for a bookshelf. Also, about a year ago I bought a recliner from the same Big Lots. There were problems with it so it had to be returned. The second recliner I was told by the manager if there were any problems I could return it without a problem. When I mentioned it to her when she had the older man build the shelves she asked did I buy the extended warranty. I didnt as she said if there was a problem it wouldnt be an issue. Amazing how quickly people forget when they offer you something. The recliner is falling apart underneath where your legs go. The filling is falling out and looks terrible. She said to call Ashley furniture and see if they could do anything. I will not buy any furniture from them again.

The manager here is very knowledgeable about their services and went out of their way to be sure I knew my options! They have a leasing program! I do not need it but wow! They also carry name brand furniture!

So far have found everything Ive looked for.

Bought a rug and it would not lay flat after two months! They offered me a new one. Thank you Big lots, you have s big heart!

I ordered a piece of furniture here. When I called to see if it had come in yet the guy on the phone was terribly confused, kept coughing in my ear and couldnt find the book they keep the orders in. Very unorganized. They do have cute things though.

I bought a defective Cork Screw the other day, threw out the saleslip before using it. I Opened a couple packs of meat & threw trays into the garbage etc. When I went to open the Cabernet, low and behold the screw did not work. I called up BLs and let them know what happened and advised I would be returning it for an exchange the next day. When I went to the store, all I got was a smiley highly receptive person at the register. The person I spoke to the day before had passed the information along to the people working the next day. All I can say is if this is the way B.Ls trains their people, I think I am going to buy some investment stock in the company. Their future is very bright. Needless to say I am 110% satisfied with the way in which I was treated.
