The management is not capable to ran this store as good as it should. The inventory is very weak. Some items are lying on the floor or misplaced. The only good thing about this store is that if you actually can discover the item you need in this store, you will save. As an example of a good store, it is Dollar Tree in Pinole, CA.

The store its not very clean.. everytime i go there. Its a mess. But at the same time I have witnesses how people dont care to open packages, grab things and leave every where, a lot kids running and playing, the moms or babysitters not telling them nothing..I given them 5. Because its always someone stocking, working so hard, but they are very helpful. Everything i ask for something and its not there at the floor, they go on the back room and find it.. great customer service..

Good selections usually, but its kinda dingy. This was my go to place for a while. Now I prefer the other Novato Dollar Tree, its newer and cleaner feeling.

This store is very very addictive, it has a bad influence on people that has shopping problems especially someone like me I always spend way more money on every visit than what I am supposed to be spending. I absolutely love love love the dollar store.🥰😍

Can anyone explain why this store has no carts available? Everyone is acting like it’s normal to give your money to a store that can’t provide the most basic requirement of being a store.

The employees are nice yet store is a bit messier than other locations. They should order the hard cover books more often.

The other Dollar Store in Marin...Much Bigger store than San Rafael. Good parking, great holiday items - always. The vast selection of Greeting cards is impressive.

Always going to get a couple things and end up buying a bunch but customer service is great Josh is a great employee and so are all the other employees. My only complaint is that there arent enough Dollar trees around town.

Place to buy items at $1 an item

Very nice and clean store. It wasnt busy and they have different items that some of the other Dollar Tree stores dont carry.

The young man at the check out was working hard. The store was understaffed and there were a lot of people pulling at his attention. I applaud him for keeping calm and handling it one person at a time.

Store is disorderly and poorly stocked. Still I found everything I was looking for.

The stores in terrible condition. Empty shelves, no employees, long lines. There is stock stacked in the aisles everywhere but there is nothing on the shelves. It is like this quite often. Other Dollar Trees I have been to are better than this, but in general, I think their biggest attraction is the price of the items that they sell. It is a great place to buy cheap stuff.

Theres only one reason this review is receiving 2 stars. But I will get to that in a bit. The reason they are just shy of one star is because an old cashier works here mostly near the balloon section that acts like he is being completely inconvenienced by your shopping there. He is very rude. I have heard that he is a jerk from customers while standing in line. I have never heard a thank you or a please come out of this guys mouth. He has somehow tried to overcharge me an extra dollar or two like I wouldnt notice Im buying 5 items but he rings me up for six dollars .even on the receipt it shows 5 items not to mention I didnt need a bag for my 5 items and he adds the 10 cent charge without asking. And instead of refunding me the dollar he yells for me to just go grab another item .this old guy does not belong helping customers. If he does he should learn some politeness and maybe learn how to count. Or maybe he is pocketing the extra dollars he scams from customers. Now enough about that guy. The second star is because there is 2 younger cashiers that have helped me in the past who say thanks. They are pleasant and actually ask if I need a bag. These guys are great. But this old guy with an accent almost ruins my trip to dollar tree evertime. Please if corporate is reading this have a word with this guy about how customer service works in this country.

Dollar tree is not as useful as it used to be. The products are cheaper, you have to really look hard to get a dollars worth product.

This store is so un-organized and in deserey, its unbelievable. And its the filthiest to say the least, employees dont even know where anything is, and when asked you are treated like you are interupting something, and tell you they dont know, I just have to look. No customer service what so ever. And very rude. They need some serious training. And if their employees are like this, Im thinking management isnt much better, because, it starts with good management.

Just as it says, everything is $1.00 or less. Even has a food section. Just a great place to browse, but be careful, you will spend some time & money.

My wife and I were in there on 9/17/19. The cashier who had been filling balloons rang us up. He was very rude and seemingly in a foul mood. If he doesnt like working there, find another job instead of treating customer very badly.

Affordable and good range of products. Could pay staff a little more so they would pay attention. 7 people in line and cashier blowing up balloons. No one else helping line. Bad customer service.

Rude cashiers. Dirty bathroom. Opened packages of food on shelves. They need more help with stocking and defiantly they need more cashiers. Went there on a rainy day and there were no carts inside. Anothet lady and myself asked where the carts were and the cashier pointed outside and said There they are insuating for us to get them ourselves. So we had no choice but to. We could not believe what such horrible customer service that was. Very sad. The manager did not even do anything about it. They need a much better staff. Being a regular customer, I do not appreciate this type of customer service

Its hit and miss like most discount stores. It has a large selection of cards, gift wrapping, snacks, and craft sodas, and toys, but it also has a lot of broken merchandise sitting on its shelves, like broken shoeboxes, broken pencil holders, and other containers.
