This place had a nice parking it was easy to get in and out nice staff

We always shop for groceries here. We find what we need without difficulty. Staff is very helpful. Give Safeway a try, you wont regret it.

Bathroom needed refreshing but overall a good experience like most safeways.

Its a grocery store. The employees are usually really friendly but remember everyone has a bad day. Normally stocked well although the pandemic did mess that up. Totally recommend it.

The people behind the deli or unhygenic and the act like its a big problem to ask them to put their masks on properly covering their noses and the wash their hands before they serve you deli products after they wiped their noses. This is happened repeatedly the staff needs to be completely changed in the Delhi except for 1 or 2 people who are good.

Well I really miss it being 24 hours because I hate lines. Lately you are going to hit a line if you go there and dont use self checkout, and theres a line even then sometimes. Good selection of products, surprisingly good floral department since covid-19 there have been a lot of runs on the sale items but their stock levels are better than a lot of places not back up to pre-covid yet though . Most of the staff very nice couple of the checkers very slow.

They never have anything in stock, I have frequently purchased things that are/soon arePast date, their produce is poor quality, they never have enough staff working so the lines are always long. Their online order service is just as terrible - poor quality and not accurate.

Why is there never any fried chicken breasts and wings?

Even with virus considerations, its still easy to get in and out of the store quickly at lunch time. This included getting turkey freshly sliced. Thanks for keeping things moving Safeway.

Honestly I don’t like sandwich bars in Safeways in general, but this one had a very nice gentleman helping me out. He was very polite and courteous. I kept requesting different things and he was reacting very nice. I hate when people start complaining or breathing heavily while cooking my food, I mean cmon! If you hate your job - just quit! Anyways, this guy was nothing like that. I really liked the service. I forgot to ask his name... anyways, thank you!

I didnt think I would write ever a review to Safeway, but the people at the dely department were super nice! And it was pretty amazing. I thought I would just support them by writing this review. They are working very hard you can tell and they dont treat you badly when they have a bad day. I come here almost every day and I really wanted to write a review to say - good job! And thank you for providing a good cuatomer service. You dont get that in many stores lately for some reason. So 5 stars and have a great day!

Store is always busy, not enough clerks. I hate going here but they have hot French bread at 5 pm

Not like it used to be.

Decent prices,decent produce. Not many other grocery stores in area to compare it to. If I didn’t have kids, I wouldn’t shop here, would rather head up to target and Costco which both have awesome prices and awesome produce. The only things that make store bearable, it’s extremely cold inside, is the Starbucks, which is always a long line and understaffed, and the check out guy who is the nicest!

Deli is yummy

Customer service is always help and courteous.

Its a nice Safeway. Well stocked and has all the departments like meats and bakery. Only downside is location. Traffic can get heavy so patience is required especially when you are leaving the parking lot. New car chargers were just installed too.

Workers tend to take forever to take your orders at the deli section. And sometimes the food is too burnt but when theyre fresh its good.

I want to give a credit to the 2 guys who work night shift at the deli. Younger and an older guy. I forgot their names. But I came multiple times and they were super nice to me always. I want to say thank you for a good job!

They have everything at very reasonable prices. Excellent bakery, produce and floral departments. The locations are consistent re store layout, product availability and quality and I receive discounts on fuel purchases. Perfect!

The tall woman working the self checkout is rude, harassing and just miserable. She threw my items at me because my light came on and I needed her to double check my items and punch her code in. Sorry- didn’t mean to bother you while you were at work. She told me to never come back and spoke to me in a really condescending way and threw my items at me. Kinda disappointed, I’ve always enjoyed this Safeway and never had any issues. When I notified another team member they were frustrated because it wasn’t the first complaint they’ve received on her. Sounds like this Safeway isn’t doing anything about this particular employee...

It is rare that I can find all I need here. Today there was no butternut squash. Other times they are out of chicken breast. The lines are long. I only go to this one because they still have a liquor license.

This Safeway is nice but its all so confusing. They have so many stands with different things on them in different places that you get confused on to where the normal location of the foods are. I hope you understood that cuz that sounded kind of confusing but thats the way it is walking up and down the aisles at the Safeway in Novato. But the staff there is great they have a good variety of foods their sales are nice and I really like having the Wells Fargo Bank inside the store. But I wish you guys would carry Red Mill cream of wheat..

I think Safeway is sometimes underrated and a bit overlooked for Specialty Foods and Organics. They have a nice book offering a various organic rice, nuts, and beansTheir specialty food section is growing and contains many good ethnic choices.

Went in for a baby shower cake at 3 p.m. and there was no one to help us that actually worked in the bakery. The guy couldnt even answer questions about their product.

Im giving this Safeway 3 stars solley because they had Toilet paper when everyone else in Novato was out. Well the first 2 big places we went were out

Im always amazed how they up the price marked then call an item sale price. Also raising prices on name brands and steering you to their brand.My pet peeve is the card then digital coupons then cut out coupons. Whole foods looks like my new store.

The employees at Safeway always try to treat every customer well. The quality of their store brand items are almost always as good as the big brands. The prices arent the cheapest and there are occasionally lines but they are better on average than any other supermarket in their price range.

The staff was professional and helpful.

Its a Safeway. Has a Starbucks inside. Other than that nothing exciting to report. Staff is friendly and courteous enough, prices are average with their comparable competitors and well below the more boutique(ish) markets. Ive been going here for 20 years and will continue doing so as long as Im here.

I definitely like Safeway better than say Trader Joes or Whole Foods. They may not have a whole lot of specialty items but they have a well rounded selection at a decent price.

Shopping at what I thought were off-peak hours was a mistake (630 or 700pm). The express lane closed right as I walked up, there were only two lanes open, no baggers; I only had a few items, it was my last (and longest) stop of the day. I should have gone to Lucky! Ugh

Did not carry the San Francisco sourdough bread. Xxxx
