Tracy, our scheduler is top notch! Even though our windshield was on a nationwide backorder she stayed on top of their vendor to ensure our wait was as short as possible. Vinnie, the technician, was great! I felt instantly at ease and confident in his abilities. He was on time, courteous, professional, and informative.
Horrible experience. Took separate personal business days to schedule my appointments. First time, wrong windshield. Second time, didn’t have the right equipment. Third time, the technician sent another technician to do the job. Apparently, the original tech “blew a tire” and he was behind. Guess what? Wrong windshield! As I type this, still NO ONE from their office has called me trying to make this right, or re-schedule AGAIN. No call from the office manager, not even their district supervisor. Talk about people who do not care. Very frustrating. And disappointing. Businesses operate differently today, they don’t care…take it or leave it attitude. If you need a windshield, be ready for a frosty experience. Good luck!

Well, if you want your work done correctly, find just about anywhere else to go. When they got my new window in, they never checked the new piece for any cracks, so they had already ripped out my existing window that could have stayed in there. Then I had to come back, they installed the new window, and never checked their work and I have a rip through the seal that now sticks out. I called back insurance and am going through a dealership to ensure that this comes out correctly and with pride. The individual that worked on my vehicle effectively laughed it off and told me that he did check his work, which is just deflecting responsibility. 0/5 stars if I could, will not come back to Safelite.
This is the only place to take your car for glass work. Tracey and her team are awesome. The price was good. Quality was superb. I highly recommend.
The truck was delivered back to me with a missing piece of molding and the tech Andrew tried to tell me that it was not there when he started. There is no way this corner molding was missing, the truck was just detailed 2 days earlier and it was present. The facility should have taken ownership of the fact they did something to the plastic corner molding instead of trying to sell me on it coming off on its own.
Came in to get the glass fixed, had to get it reinstalled twice because of installation errors. Friendly but struggling with getting the service done on time.
They helped me save a boatload of money for one, which automatically makes them awesome!I locked my keys in the car and they were totally understanding and didnt move my appointment, they just waited for my spare key to get dropped off.The staff are very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you could have.The store is clean and neat. The waiting area even has a coffee bar!I happened to come on a busy day with some difficult phone calls by the sound of it. Despite that, they were seemingly unbothered and eager to help!These are good people and I can trust them with my vehicle!
Service was good but the pricing was high. Basic windshield, nothing fancy. Paid about double what I should have in most markets due to the overcharging. Likely will not use them again due to this.
Really nice location. They also have a lobby where you can seat, have a coffee and even work while they repair your windshield. Would definitely use them again if needed.
Easy to schedule an appointment for glass replacement through my auto insurance. Technician was friendly. Parking lot was crowded and hard to maneuver around. I am happy with the service and glass replacement. If you want OEM glass make sure to request that. It was an additional charge.

They told me they did not have the gm windshield and canceled my appointment but did not tell they had a windshield that was not gm that could have got put in vary disappointed with customer service
Holy cow! I was so happy with my experience at Safelite!! I arrived early for my appointment, so I was fine with waiting in my car until my designated time. I was greeted by a person who was super nice and professional, right away, and they took my car in early! Not only were they polite, professional and helpful, they were really fast too! I was in and out with a new windshield in just under an hour! Wow! I am really impressed. Also, I’m sure it goes without saying that they also did a great job with my windshield replacement. I am very happy! I wish I could recognize the gentleman who helped me, but sadly I forgot his name, he did tell me though. ( I was in on the morning of 1-28-21)

Well, I made an appointment for a total windshield replacement for 4 pm and was told they were an hour behind, for starters. Unfortunately, my insurance didn’t cover anything so was quoted $406 out of pocket when initially it was $330 online. Before going through with the purchase I called around. Got quoted for $200 for the same windshield at a competitor down the road AND an extra 10% off for being a first time customer with ratings wayyy better than safelite. Unless your insurance covers anything, DONT come here. They will not work with you at all. You’re paying for their “name” that’s it. #ripoff

I came in to have my windshield replaced for my Fed Ex fleet vehicle. The job took around an hour. Their waiting area has Wi-Fi, TV, restroom and a fancy coffee machine. The man who did my job even reattached everything that was on the original windshield. No complaints!
I had my appointment at 1:30pm, & showed up about 10am. The team were so accommodating. Austin was responsible for my vehicle who explained all the details & steps, & how far the results for my windshield crack might be. He offered vacuuming & dusting the car while the crack-removing was happening. He can be a roll-model for all young generations as being ambitious, polite & smart-hardworking!

Absolutely one of the worst experiences Ive had when it comes to customer service and it took at least 2 hours or more longer than they estimated the time and then on top of it they did not have my windshield I had three chips that you could see on windshield they pointed out two if not three under the wiper blades insurance only covers the windshield if it only has three chips more they have to replace Safelite fix the window because they did not get my windshield and then left the windshield filthy so I wont be coming back here

I had my Cadillac SRX 2011 done by Safelite the price was very good the quality was just like factory the manager was very helpful same with the reception person upfront I really recommend these people they do a good job and they take care of customers because when I was there the customer had a problem and they had to replace his windshield with no cost so that’s customer service to me

Very nice and friendly staff. Helped us getting everything solved and settled. Had 2 cars with a stone chip. Insurance scheduled on 2 different days without mobile. So I called there and the lady helped us combine the days and mobile. They came out, did an awesome job.
They ripped the tip of the rubber molding next to windshield wipers. Other than that, they did a good job.

Brought my Lincoln here after an awful experience with Henderson Glass. The receptionist was super sweet, the techs were very nice and knew what they were doing. My windshield had been hacked by another company and they were aware of it and addressed all of my concerns. New windshield was Perfect! Extremely happy I brought my car here! I did not have a good experience going online. It was a lot of miss comucation. It just seems like a scam.i told them what had happened & they seid I needs replacement witch was 118$ . Only to go there and tell me I need a whole new windshield witch was way more that they quited me.i was not happy going there just to find something different. A big disappointed. Wasnt happy at all.the replacement is the same as the windshield. Was not happy at all after I took time out from my day just to find out something different. It was a catch I was not happy about after I explained everything online just for them to tell me something totally different after I took time out of my day just to go there.

Dont use Safelite,They have gone completely bonkers with their schedule on line appointments only scheme. My truck has been at their Livonia store since 8:00 am and I have no way to find out if its done.No active phone numbers anywhere! Just an annoying message that drops you off with a disconnect.Breaking news! covid can be contracted over the phone.Good by saftlite forever.

Theyll take good care of you and your vehicle. My back glass shattered around 7:30, I called their hotline at 8, and by 8:15 I had an appointment for the same morning. When I dropped the car off around 10, they were very forthcoming about cost and insurance claims status, even calling my agency for me to push the process along, and informing me of the cost difference. The person I worked with even helped get me ~$20 off when she heard I was concerned about finances. The work was done, and done well, in about 2 hours, and every staff interaction I had was pleasant. They even vacuumed and shampooed (I think) my trunk! Overall, Im very satisfied with the service, and Ill be going back for any future work I need.

I had an appointment scheduled at 930am on a Monday and after waiting 15 minutes the receptionist finally got to me just to inform me my appointment was at 830am. I know my time was at 930. Next they stated they can see you me on Thursday three days later. Originally they came to my house a week earlier only to tell me the repair needs to be done in the shop. This location needs to get their act together.
I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that helped me but he was a perfect example of great customer service. Transparent on needs of the vehicle and just overall a genuine dude. Tina at the front desk is also awesome. Ive never had to have a windshield replaced before and this experience couldnt have been better. They also managed your expectations that it could take up to 2 hours but they had my Jeep done in under 90 minutes. They also do a deep clean in the front half on the inside of your car which is just icing on the cake! Keep up the good work!

I totally get that if you miss your appointment you cant get to it but I thought they have a lot of just wait in line kind of thing. Was like one guy at place and seemed like he just didnt want to work that day. Not great customer service. Also your mobile option isnt great because you give like a 5 hour time timeframe of when you could show up. No one has time to sit and wait for you to maybe show up. Like might as well take a day off work to take care of this.

They put a defective windshield in my car it took 5 visits to get it fix. Had to replace windshield two times to fix problem. Manager wanted to argue with me over the phone. Manager said he would give me a discount on a windshield replacement on a different vehicle and now wont return my call. I was recommended to safelite by my insurance company. Stay away the bad reviews are true.
Scheduled appointment (chip repair) on-line, they started working on it as soon as I arrived. Both counter person and repair guy very attentive, professional and cordial. Offered coffee/tea. Comfortable waiting area. Repair was excellent - hard to find where the chip was. They even vacuumed.
I came in to shop for scheduled windshield repair on 8/31/18 and the technicians quickly began to service the vehicle. I can not express enough on how courteous and professional the staff was. Something came up unexpectedly and Charlie offered to make accommodations to assist with the situation. I highly recommend this company, they really did go above and beyond what was expected, you guys are the best!

Very disappointed with their service and profession. I have a 1.5 inch chip caused by propelled rock on my windshield. I scheduled the service last weekend and when the tech came to my home, first thing he asked was do I want to repair or replace it. I answered that I didnt know if the insurance would grant the replacement. Then he warned me that after the repair these cracks wont go away. But I still asked him to repair first. He completed in ten minutes, after repair I was really surprised and disappointed. The first picture is what I snipped from their website and this is what they advertised, and the second and third photos are the actual chip of my windshield before and after the repair. I think a slight blemish or imperfection is normal, but here basically nothing different, none of any cracks are gone away. This is quite different than my other vehicle repaired by another shop two years ago. I went to the shop and complained, but they said they never guarantee the performance, and it could be better, the same or even worse after repair. they were surprised when seeing the photo advertised on their website I printed out and shown to them. But unfortunately they could not rework it nor refund me any money. they can only reimburse the money if I replace the windshield at their shop..... Disappointed but I could do nothing but left.P.S. After I left I went two other repair shops nearby, claiming that I did the repair myself but was not satisfied with my work, and wanted them to rework. both of them said it was not a professional work (LOL), for some reason the material was not fully injected into the cracks. I should not repair myself but find them at first time. They could not guarantee the cracks are completely gone but surly they would do better than this, but unfortunately they could not rework since it is already sealed.What a funny experience.
Service is very slow, took twice as long to get my windshield replaced as they quoted. Waiting room is comfortable but has no bathroom, which can be an issue when waiting over three hours. Staff was very friendly and they do offer hot beverages. I had forgotten to remove my GPS mount from the old windshield and they did not take it off when they removed the windshield, so now I have to buy a new mount. Prices are reasonable and the job was well done, if slowly.

They installed my windshield, and a stress crack came in on day one. Because of my busy schedule, I was unable to go in for a few months, and the crack expanded. When I cameIn, they accused me of lying, and refused to honor their warranty. If you go here, do not expect to be treated with respect, or that they will honor a warranty.
Horrible repair. Damaged window more than it was to eagerly bill insurance, because their machine does this all the time. But my other vehicle was repaired at another facility near my home and never had an issue with a rock repair in the windshield. So rental insurance said they would come to my home between 8am-12pm. It rained early that morning and had stopped by 8am. Not so much as a phone call. Rescheduled at a professional glass company.
Do not risk it, use another glass provider. Extremely disappointed, It took a week for an appointment at their Novi service center because my Lincoln required special alignment testing as it was equipped with auto high beams and auto wipers.One at my appointment, they informed me they ordered the wrong glass and would need to call my Lincoln Dealer. They said they would call me back and reschedule. The service location never called and after a week I contacted them and the call center indicated that they had the right glass and repair could be done at my home, magically even with my special equipment.They missed my appointment window from 12-5pm and showed up at 5:30 pm. Again, I was informed that they had the wrong glass. They said that they would be back in Two Days. No one ever called or emailed me to confirm.Lacking any confidence in safelight, I called my dealer at 7pm at night and they told me to drop car off that evening and by 11 am the next day repaired perfectly.Safe light uses a high tech automated system that identifies you when you call them. It seems like they would have this great customer handling process but if their is any concern, there is no human that owns you or your repair.Just avoid if you have any luxury car as they seem to be clueless on the proper part to order.

Waited 4 days for my appointment to have mobile glass repair done to my window after it was broken in a robbery. Completely rearranged my schedule to be home for it, only to receive a text DURING MY APPT WINDOW that it was canceled. Called for an explanation to this local shop and woman on the phone was extremely rude and condescending. Apparently they will not even have the part for my vehicle until much later in the week. This should have been communicated to me days ago, not during my appointment window. Horribly inconvenienced by this and regret using this company. Promptly found a new shop that can do the repair today.
Absolutely terrible company. They set my wife and I up for an appointment, came late, “accidentally” brought only one type of glass and it was the wrong one, and now forced a new appointment on us kind of dramatically screwing us over in the vehicle department with nothing more than a “whoopsie! Too bad, so sad.” They care exactly zero about customers, all they want is to lazily exhibit the maximum amount of inaction possible out of an experience, for the expressed purpose of what I can only assume is strictly “for the laughs” given the absolutely insulting interaction we had to endure.Awful service, awful people. I’d more trust my dog to install the glass.

When I couldnt make my appt., they picked up my car (in a snow/sleet storm) and returned it to me fixed, vacuumed, & all windows cleaned inside & out. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and they went above and beyond for me! I highly recommend them! They were awesome!! Superior service! Thank you again!

This shops quality is much better than another one (lets call it shopA) I used. Both shop fixed the similar size of window crack on two different vehicles. I can see the visual difference. In Safe lite, the crack almost disappears while the shop A is still the same as before. I think it is worth a try on the professional service.
My landscape company at my work blew out my back windshield. Got quoted an excellent price, and took it to the safelite in Novi, was only there for about an hour, although I was quoted 3 hours it may take, and was basically in and out with no issues. Highly recommend for fast repair, at a low cost!

Went to the storefront and was told that they would replace my windshield I brought to them from Ford (OEM, brand new, sealed) for $125. I told them Id call to schedule later. Called the call center, they got in touch with the store, who now quoted me $200. I left it at that, and called the store directly a week later requesting a final quote. They then told me they wouldnt replace my windshield unless I purchased one from them.Oh well, Henderson Auto Glass happily scheduled me for an appointment charging me $125 for labor.
The technician called me that he was on his way (within the timeframe given) and upon arrival was respectful, polite and had the windshield replaced in under 2 hours. Safelite and my insurance company worked in harmony seamlessly to complete the transaction and replacement with the minimum of fuss and inconvenience. Highly recommended.
Terrible experience. Simple stone chip repair. Ive had many unfortunately. All repaired with no issue. Until these guys. Will never go back. They spread the crack and now say I need a new windshield. Henderson Glass will get that business!!!
Repair went well but this place has no heat in the waiting room and it’s freezing in there. The staff goes somewhere in the back, probably where the heat is on, while customers sit and freeze for 2+hours. The free coffee does not compensate for this.Also they left my dashboard a mess with black shards of material. They made no attempt to clean up their mess.

I give them 1 star because I cant give them 0.First, the windshield that they put in was not OEM, however, I didnt ask if it was when I set up the appointment - not a big deal.Second, the service technician that came out the first time did not do a good job removing the old windshield (he tore some foam from off of the car between the dash and windshield). He also didnt clean and or secure the moulding around the windshield very well at all and as a result I lost 1 side on the expressway and almost lost the other. Then there was the communication issues when trying to get a warranty appointment. The customer service rep scheduled an appointment for a technician to repair the mouldings, but no one called or showed up. When I talked to the manager after that, he said there was a part that had to be ordered. After a week and non-returned phone calls to the manager I finally had to call my insurance agent who in turn had to call the district manager to get involved. Then the mouldings were in, and the technician was out again to fix the problem. After all of this nightmare, the manager of this store didnt follow through on his promise, AND the mouldings are falling off again. Im going to my insurance agent to have someone else do the windshield and moulding correctly.
I wish I could leave a good review, because the windshield replacement I have no issue with. But during the installation, the cover on my rear view mirror was broken. I was told Id receive a replacement, and never did. After following up with them, I was told theyd replace it a second time and still I was ignored.
This company wont provide you the OEM windshield for the price that they quote you online. I paid $772.77, and they installed an aftermarket windshield without acknowledgment. (they did not say anything online; did not tell me while I was at their store; the guy who came and did his job did not say anything about the price Im paying is an aftermarket windshield.) My dealership only quotes me $800 for an original windshield including the labor and tax. I called them as soon as I noticed what I got is not Im paying for. They told me if I want an OEM windshield, I need to pay $1100. Ridiculous! My co-worker only pays $170 for his aftermarket windshield. Im paying $772.77 for an aftermarket one? Sorry, you are not suitable for this business. At least you should tell your customers what they are paying for before you putting sh*t on your customers.
It was the penny size chip off, was initially notified that there may be little trace/chip will remain after the work.As said.. the crack and chip off was taken care to the max. Looks better/okay now.Job was quick.

Communication failures can cripple a customers perspective on the capability of a company. This location seems to have its challenges with communications. From ordering the wrong glass, to lack of follow up, short staffing, construction at their site, etc — the list goes on. Just not the level of service I expected and finally getting glass replaced over a month after placing my order. The company seems to be loosing its focus on the customer.

I called Safelite because I had a chip in my windshield that I wanted to repair, which is a repair that is covered under my insurance. They came out on location, which was nice, but everything else was pretty much a symptom of a profit-driven corporate enterprise. First, the worker didn’t explain anything to me, asked me to sign a document that was barely covered in conversation, and in no way made it apparent that I would incur a charge if something were to happen due to neglect.The worker then proceeded to drill my windshield at an angle, broke the windshield, and then quoted me almost $500 to replace the windshield he broke. With business practices like this, why bother properly training any of your staff NOT to break windshields? Not only that, think of the money saved having some undertrained, likely underpaid lacky to create those automated upsell moments. I reached out to corporate to express my dissatisfaction and then they redirected me back to the uncaring Novi manager – so my escalation process took me full circle, or I imagine that’s the corporate equivalent of the middle finger.Needless to say, STAY AWAY FROM SAFELITE. I don’t have any idea why they are recommended by insurance – especially when they charge double. I went to a local shop, was quoted half the price and they explained everything to me – you know, as if I mattered to their business.
