Very rude and unprofessional. I needed help finding my products because I had a lot of stuff to buy. The ladies that work there wanted to glam each other instead of helping a customer!! There was a worker that had blue/green striped hair she was utterly rude and unethical. Never going there again! I spend so much money there to get treated in such a horrendous way. Please Sephora find yourself better workers. If i could give 0 stars i would. Save yourself time and stress and go to the one in Somerset mall much better.

Marc was such a great help! My boyfriend was looking for some guidance on fragrances. Not only was Marc extremely knowledgeable but very friendly in general! Definitely recommend this location!

Honestly, there’s only 2/3 people here that seem to know what they’re talking about and are helpful. They’re the reason I gave an extra star. Other than that, the other workers seem to either not care, or just don’t know a thing. And I always have to deal with someone who knows NOTHING about skin care. Literally nothing. Even if you call and tell the worker exactly where the product is on a shelf they’ll swear up and down they don’t have it... Despite if you go in and find it exactly where you said it was, on that shelf... And this place calls them an expert? How are you called that when you don’t even know what products you sell?? Please invest in paying a better wage and training better employees. This place is a joke. :/

This store is incredible, and will most likely lead to the downfall of my finances. The sales associates are great. They help you find what you are looking for, and make excellent suggestions. Every gift I have bought with the help of a sales associate has been a hit with my friends. Wish I could give this a 6-star review.

I’m going to do my best to keep this as short and simple as possible. All I can say is WOW. Today I was having a terrible day due to lack of training and had to deliver to Sephora. I was greeted at the door by Lauren. Her smile and attitude turned EVERYTHING around. She explained the delivery process although I was an hour early on the delivery window. She still went above and beyond her way to make sure I was able to do it quick,safe,and easy. I can not express how kind she was. Literally turned my entire day around and suggested a fragrance I should check out. Needless to say I left the store With a smile on my face and a fragrance I purchased. I see exactly why she’s a manager!!! Later I’ll be contacting corporate to see if there is some sort of raise For her. Keep up the good work!!!Great sales skills!! Great attitude!!!great person in general!!! Look forward to stoping by this Sephora again!!

Really unprofessional staff. The workers avoid helping you and are so aggressive about making a sale. They wouldn’t even give me an extra bag when I asked - really strange policy ... I may switch to Ulta because Sephora service is getting bad.

Went here a few days ago with two friends of mine, we saved up a couple hundred to spend specifically here because it has so much more than our local Sephora’s, on to be followed and discriminated for being young and accused of stealing. They also decided to call security on us, all we were doing were looking at lashes.

I went to grab some things that I’d ran out of with my young teen daughter, we were in there less than 10 minuets, and around 6 different employees asked if we were doing ok... I’m positive they thought we were stealing. Idiots! I work in customer service, I know how it goes. I REFUSE to EVER shop here again. I’ll always go back to the one located in sears in the same mall, or order online.

There was a very good young lady helping me with Tatcha skincare. Really appreciate her help and how helpful she was. But the older lady who just jumped into our conversation made me mad. She tried to tell me that my skin is combination oily! All my life all of the cosmetologist told me that my skin is normal to dry. When I told her that, she kept on telling that she knows better than I do. I had full face of makeup do she couldn’t even take a look at my real skin but she thought she knows better. I had never had so bad experience at any Sephora’s all over the world. Even Sephora at JCPenney at 12 oaks was better than this one. I don’t understand who hired those people and let them work with customers. I love cosmetics and especially expensive skincare. But after all of that I didn’t even buy anything new for myself and left the store. Don’t recommend and will never come back.

I ordered an item online while at this store because they were currently out of stock. No problem. It was suppose to be 3-5 business days. One week goes by, nothing. No email. No tracking #. I call customer service. The rep was really nice, I know this was not his fault, and he helped the best he could. Long story not so short - the item I ordered was actually out of stock at their wearhouse, so they canceled the order, while still holding on to my money. I got no notification about this. Nothing. The rep told me that would have processed the order once it came back into stock, which they had no ETA for.Honestly, I would have been understanding if it was out of stock, if they would have notified me! The rep couldnt really do anything expected refund my card. which is great I got my money back, but the fact that I was not notified about ANY of this is just ridiculous. the item I ordered was a gift and now Im left empty handed. I will never be back to Sephora. I know this is not this locations fault, but I have never really experienced such a terrible way of handling an order before.

This Sephora is well stocked (at a time in the holiday season where some other stores are looking a bit picked over), the cashiers and managers were very nice even though the store was super busy and I was trying to make a return!

There was no greeting, and when I was finally helped the worker and one of the cashiers were very condescending. If you ladies believe you have the right to be a snob while working at the mall, at least make sure your makeup looks good cuz yall a mess lmao

To whom it may concern I am a legal Esthetician and I take pride in my work and customer service. When I walked up to the cashier I asked a simple question about a product the lady that helped me had grown out roots, was tall and had a green/blue stripe in her hair. Needless to say she was utterly rude when I asked a simple and I know this times of year it’s hard to stay relaxed in customer service but if you’re representing a company with a big name for quality customer service it tarnishes Sephora’s look when a worker isn’t polite to the customer. My sister stood in the wrong line waiting to check out the cashier after two minutes of looking directly at us and rudely commented saying “ you know the line starts over here.” This was my little sisters first time going into your store and it will be the last for us.

Very bad customer service they have i wish i can give less then 1star,, i was there to return something!! I spend at least $1000 a month on makeup!! So i was there to return something unused! I purchase it 2day’s ago !! And there was two assistant that they lied to me they said they can’t return it at all with no reason! REALLY this is how you treat your customers then the second day i went to Sephora jcpenny and the Young lady She return the items and she was more then happy to help me.. Sephora if you need your customers back change your stuff that they work there because they are disrespectful

First they didn’t greet me. Second they kept looking at me and a bunch of workers kept coming up to me to see if have any questions. When I️ left the store a worker kept asking me if I️ have any questions about anything and I️ said no I️ am leaving now I️ just purchased something. My sister and I (African American) walked into Sephora no one spoke to us or greeted us. So we continue to walk to look at the new Fenty line. NO ONE came up to us to offer any help, even after making full eye contact abdvseeming confused nothing. Not more than 5 minutes later a woman (Caucasian woman) walks in she is not in the door 3 sec and she is immediately greeted with smiles and asks if she needs any help. I am beyond upset as I have shopped in Sephora for a long time and never once has this happened. If we were of a different race this would not have happened. Never will I spend a dime in Sephora 12 Oaks.

NOVI- SEPHORA storeI usually dont give reviews good or bad, but this incident upset me so much that i decided to do a reviewThere is a rude Staff associate ) REGISTER- Ann Marie or someone with similar name ( she is overweight and looks definitely over 45)It was my first trip time visit to store im 35 and never do makeup., i got a $100 giftcard for TG so went to sephora ! She talking so rudely as if i came to get free stuff !! i had a coupon issue so came to RETURN some items (purchased previous day- never used them- all sealed & had receipt too), i was being helped by a nice lady LANA, but this rude lady( Ann) was working on a different register but she overhearing & responding with rude answers to my queries and says “ your holding line can you move aside (after 5-10mins) at 2 pm afternoon!!! And they were just couple Customers !!!!where should i go??? THEY DONT HAVE A CUSTOMER SUPPORT DESK ! All billing returns etc are done at the same counter, why should i step aside — when she was giving me the WRONG ANSWER and not fixing my problem!!!! ill never be going back to this store ever - will buy online or different locations but NEVER THE NOVI- sephora ( Michigan) but I appreciate the store manager (a younger lady ) who later fixed the issue and proved the rude lady- she is WRONG!!!! Dislike it

Love how big this Sephora is but HATE that every time I go there without makeup and dressed in comfy coths (because you know its always nice to not wear makeup and wear comfy cloths) they asume Im about to steal something, yes I know its their job to help you out but even after they ask if I need any help and I tell them I dont Im just looking they still continue to flow me. my friends and I have tested it out everything I go. I walked back and forth in the same aisle and the lady always follows my extract diraction every time. their is always someone up my ass threw out the store, following my ever move like Im going to steal something. I have spent so much money at this company that I feel very disrespected because they always assume Im just there to steal, just because of my appearance does not mean I am going to steal!!

Someone at this store location (I live in Massachusetts and have never been here or even to Michigan) keeps redeeming my beauty insider account rewards and using them at this store. Obviously this store isnt run properly and there is nothing Sephora will do about it except give my points back, however its massively inconvenient to have to keep dealing with customer serivce over this stores issue. This sephora location really needs to work on improving their service and protecting sephora customers outside of their store. Im horrified that this continues to happen.
