I was very disappointed with my experience here. I had purchased a prom dress one year ago and COVID had hit. I was unable to have a prom, and was unable to come to store to get the dress. I had never had the dress altered nor did I ever wear it more than once. The dress never left the store. I came in recently and asked for my money back. They told me I was unable to do so. And that there was nothing that they can do for me. I understand that it was store policy however having a little compassion and being a little nice would’ve been appreciated. I was disrespected, and spoke to nasty. I would’ve thought being through a pandemic and understanding that I was unable to have my senior prom, they would’ve been a little more pleasant. I do not recommend this place for how arrogant some of the workers were to me and my mom. Totally unacceptable and not how you should run business. I would not even give this place one star but Google is making me in order to post this.

I have been going to Vesa for years because they are the best! No matter how big or small the alterations are, they always produce the most amazing results. Everyone working there is so patient, kind, and personable, which only adds to customer satisfaction!

Owned by a mother-daughter couple, this store truly cares about minimizing your wedding stress through ensuring that you will be 100% happy with your wedding dress. Arranging weddings are stressful - especially for bride-to-be’s (let’s face it, the responsibility regarding arrangements falls more onto the bride than the groom, unfortunately)... The team at Vesa Dresses knows this, and they do whatever is in their power to ensure that your dress will give you a peace of mind on your wedding day! Elsa, Veronica, and Eva took GREAT care of me, my mom, and all our needs and wishes. They were EXCEPTIONALLY patient, kind, and emphathizing with me! They never hesitated from making the changes I requested on my dress... It was less than 1 week before my wedding and I was still asking for unexpected changes - and they were welcoming all despite their very busy schedule. They even recommended a local business where I was able to get my headpiece customized:) At Vesa Dresses, you are treated like family - truly... When I and my mom were sick with one worst flues we had ever had and were not able to make it to our bridal appointment, they even sent us a LOVELY “get well soon” card which I still keep. I will never forget their kindness and this ADORABLE gesture! Vesa Dresses is, for sure, the BEST thing that happened to me throughout the time I was arranging my wedding. I totally recommend this place for any bride! You will be in EXCEPTIONAL hands with Elsa, Veronica, and Eva!

I purchased my bridesmaid dress here for a girlfriend’s wedding. The shopping experience was nice and the prices were average. Alterations charged $100+ for the hem and bringing the straps up. A few hours into the reception my strap fell apart and needed to be tied together to keep my dress from falling down.

With finding a dress last minute, they took all my worries away. Walked in feeling more than welcomed. It was an amazing experience to find my gown with them. My alterations come out perfect, couldnt have found a better gown anywhere else. Highly recommend Vesa Dresses to anyone & everyone! This bridal shop is the best in New Jersey that Ive been to. They can custom make dresses. So if you are like me and only want unique styles, this place can accommodate. At the end, I went with one of the latest fashion lines from a well known company in Spain.Im so super excited!

Vesa bridal helped style my whole bridal party. Bridesmaids dresses, my wedding dress, my moms mother of the bride dress, even my flower girl .Everything was perfect and on time. The alterations were exactly what we were looking for.Plus we got a small discount because we got everything through Vesa.I couldnt be happier!

I cannot begin to tell you all how amazing Veronica is from Vesa Brides in Nutley. Her aura is beautiful. She truly wants you to love your dress and be happy with your decision. She is also super patient and responsive and never makes you feel like you’re being a bother. The boutique itself has a little bit of everything and is cozy and private. Literally out of all my experiences so far she has been the best 🤗 I’m so so happy I found her! Please check them out I don’t give recommendations lightly.

I went to Vesa Dress Shop to look for a dress for my wedding (I got married on 5/19/17). It was near my home so I figured I could get some ideas. The moment I walked in the staff was very attentive and excited to assist me. I fell in love with a cocktail dress, however, I wanted pink instead of white. They were more than happy to help me pick the perfect shade of pink. Once the dress came in I had lost some weight and I continued to lose weight up to the day I picked up the dress. I went back at least 7 or 8 times for fittings and never once did I feel like they were frustrated with me or rushing me out of store. I recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to be treated like a true princess when preparing for any event: wedding, prom, etc. I would also like to give a shout out to EVA - she was amazing - an absolute pleasure to work with. I hope I have an occasion where I need to go back to visit her again. Thank you!

This was the best dress place I walked into hands down. The woman who helped my mom find some dresses even helped her fit into the perfect full body bra which gave her an amazing figure. We were in tears. I found the perfect color bridesmaid dresses. I felt so good leaving there bc I got a lot done and most importantly, my mom lit up when she saw herself . Its all coming together . Im so happy. :)

Saved my sisters wedding!! I burned a hole in my sisters veil 10 minutes before the photographer arrived, The day of her wedding. Went to Vesa in a whim to see if they had any available and ready. They duplicated the veil color shape and size on the spot with a new custom made one at an extremely reasonable price in 20minutes! On top of it when we were there it started to downpour, they gave us an umbrella so we didnt mess up her hair or make up since it was done for the wedding already. While we were waiting we looked around at the dresses they have and found a few that we liked better than the ones that we had gotten from another bridal store. Being that we were from out of town this is the first time we had ever been there ! I highly recommend Vesa for any of your bridal needs!!!

Three strikes youre out. I lived near the dress shop and visited them one day to see if they could help measure me. No customers were in the shop but because I wasnt purchasing a dress through them, the woman was very rude to me. In the end she did help me so I thought I would pay it forward. Im now planning my wedding and although I no longer live in the area, I wanted to repay the favor. I called looking for a specific dress and never received a call back. I setup an appointment to try a dress on with my maid of honor and they hurried us along 5 minutes into our appointment so they could use the dressing room for someone else. Im still waiting for a call back regarding another dress and its been about three weeks now. Needless to say, I will not be using their services and you should beware!
