Just skip this store of you want any Deli products. Walked in today to pick up some lunch meat at 10:15am and theres a sign stating DELI CLOSED. Theres a Iady working behind the counter and I asked her if theyre closed. She pointed to the sign and said does that say CLOSED? Well mcxuse me... sorry to bother you while your deli is closed. What a joke.

Every time I come here every motorized cart is not charged. I actually have to go back to get another motorized cart because one is running out of battery power. I go through three motorized carts in that place because they dont know how to charge their motorized carts right. And I walked in there last week and theres water on the cart like. In some of the meat is like Gray people aint going to eat that okay why have it out there.

Typically I avoid every Food 4 Less, but I had to make a quick trip to grab some berries

The cashiers act like they hate their job. Last week experienced a rude cashier but I let it go and today the cashier Linda was extremely rude. I think she was mad because I had a lot of groceries. I paid my hard earned money for my groceries and shouldnt have to deal with rude service. She didnt greet anyone. Handled my the receipt in a hurry. I believe the cashiers need customer service training.

I always like coming here. Clean store, helpful employees, good prices for a pauper such as myself. Sheeeeeitt even the other customers here have been nice. GREAT and extensive produce selections.They always have deals going on on chips, chicken, beef, lunchables and coffee. I have not once had a bad experience here. I had to ask the meat department/counter for chicken livers for my doggo and he said they were out but would get some in the next day and then he asked if I wanted him to put some aside for me so theyd be there when I came back in. I thanked him immensely for being a nice person. I wish I woulda caught his name to call corporate and let them know how kind he was. (If they even care Idk.) Anyway, go here and shop!!!

Good place for experienced shoppers to try. They carry major brands and their own Kroger brand; most of which are less money and very decent quality. Watch the produce carefully. Most is good, but there are times when their produce might not be your best buy for your money.Employees are friendly and helpful. I shop their often. For example: I might run across to Jewel for certain products like hair coloring and beauty products. Food 4 Less only carries a few of what Im looking for in this category. Its always nice to have a bigger selection from which to choose. Overall, you can save money at Food 4 Less in the long run. I give it 4 stars.

I do most of my grocery shopping here. Good prices on most items, and everything Ive bought is great. Their Private Selection brand in particular has awesome items, such as the frozen burgers and salsa. Even the regular store brand items are good.

Nice prices on everything, and great prices at the service meat counter! Served by a really sweet, fun uplifting guy. He always makes my day coming in there very stylish! Also not to mention the store is very clean, and tidy. An very helpful staff!

The store was clean, orderly and prices were reasonable. The cashier asked about my shopping experience and offered their points/ gas rewards card. The Oak Forest location is worth a visit if in the vicinity.

Usually has the best and most reasonable price for items (unless you buy bulk at warehouse stores). Pretty decent produce selection. Kroger brand is very competitive--in price and in taste/quality, possibly better than leading brands. This store usually has short lines but very few cashiers.

Great shopping today - no one in the store.Its always clean & orderly! They seemed to be a lot of empty shelves. Could have been from the weather. Staff are always polite and friendly.

Great neighborhood food store, has a lot of good deals. I do most of my shopping here, and saves me a lot of money than going to a different store. Some prices for certain things are higher priced for that store, but cheaper comparing it to somewhere else. I think this is a great store to save money.

Its the best grocery store I ever shopped at the attendance go out of their way to help me not just one but several attendance who work there they always there for me but I noticed they do that for all of the customers but Ive been shopping there for a while over the years of shopping there I know the attendance buy name there are attendance names are Erica Linda Melissa and others I forget most of them but they know me as soon as I get there and are very eager and willing to help me with any problems that arise they are the best we need more people like that working in society today you make me want to spend my money LOL

Was an ok store, some items I was looking for they didnt have, but was able to get most of what I needed, they should have more check out lines open, kinda had a long wait for the one open regular checkout. Cashier was friendly and nice. And the Isles are spacious.

What kind of store manager lets a service company openly rodd a sewer in the middle of the produce section my celery the day I went shopping before Easter of 2019 had dead sewer flies in it. All while people are shopping then their service company flooded out the area they were cleaning the drains from as I was checking out I seen there cable come out of another clean out and about hit a food 4 less employee. Extremely unprofessional and inexperienced. Today 5/19 flooded wet area in meat section with soaked paper towels and a caution sign for people to stay away from the mess. Shouldnt this be done after hours and cleaned up so no customers see or experience this. Absolutely disguised with this I will be looking for a new grocery store to regularly buy 300$ worth of food at. Message to that service company how would you like it if I went to your home town grocery store and let sewer flies run ramped, no one would like that or want to eat that food.

Best regular prices around. This is a rebranded Kroger store. So some reason Kroger Brand failed in Chicago area. If you are looking economical shopping this is the place. Do not expect to find much healthier offerings like organic food or high grade items. I will say thier produce is much better than the largest chain in the area.

Great prices. Sometimes produce is limited but they always have what I need. Eddie in the produce section is always helpful and friendly.

Well first the good, the carts are absolutely huge. I can fit 3 kids in it and groceries. This is awesome, I have 4 kids all 4 and under.Now the bad, the meat section smells like death, its not like anything I have experienced at any other store. I stopped shopping here for over a year, went back today and it still smelled like rotten meat. So I probably wont go back unfortunately.

Cashier took care of us at 15 or items lane. She was very nice and asked us how we r doing today. It was 545pm.

Employee that stocked produce went to washroom did not wash hands and returned rite back to the floor to stock. I think gloves should be necessary. This is how germs are spread. I did speak to a manager but did not see a follow up before I left.

The place has some good deals for food, but some of the selection of foods are limited. No canned tomatoes, and some of the produce looked to be starting to rot.

I use to like the store when I go in and there is no cashier so go though self check out and the girl gets upset and tells me not to do that again and one is open Im not happy what the hell am I to do if no one is open and no lights are on its only for 15 or less is what Im told and in your deli cant get service anymore until after 8am I was there 2 mins before I spend alot if money in the store Im going to go else customer service is not good at all

Check your meat. I had a spoiled steak that was red on top and gray/brown on the bottom. Took it back for a exchange and the manager Denise gave me such a hard time with this simple exchange. Poor customer service on her part. I WILL NEVER GO BACK to them!

This is my go to store for most of my groceries. Decent prices, friendly help for the most part. The deli hardly ever use numbers so it makes it more difficult for the shopper. Go elsewhere for your deli needs.

Used to be better when they had strong competition. Prices are higher now & continuing problems trying to use MasterCard without using a PIN.

In the past the ad would not state a product limit, then when you get there they would post a limit on how many you can buy. Now its not posted in the store and the cashier dosent tell you and you get charged full price on any purchases over the limit. Watch your reciepts. Hey food 4 less how about putting limits in the ad and posting it clearly in the store.

The staff received me quite well despite my constant felatio jokes and threats of grit theft. When i saw the deli worker grab his rubber safety mat and take a big bite, i knew he was doing it in tribute, as an effort to prepare his body. It seemed to invigorate him. He spat on my krakus ham as requested, and came up with new and original insults with eat slice of cheese he procured. A pound of american was never so rewarding. I WILL be back again, amd this time ill bring a six pack of non alcoholic beer and several road flares.Itd be cool if they started carrying breakfast sausage gravy in the can tho. My wife, an immigrant showed her resident alien card( green card) for an alcohol purchase and was told by store employees thay it was jot a valid ID and that she needed one that proved she was from here originally when i came to inform them that a green card is a government issued ID, they saw my phone in my hand and threatened to call the police. This is outright discrimination againt my wife...humiliated IN PUBLIC...IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN.

I am complaining about a situation using Wic coupons i went to get for my daughter on her behalf for my grand kids, this is not the first time i go by the way but this was the most utter worst experience from the cashier to sadly the manager there that day. I believe i got all the items exacly as stated on the wic coupons at the store (location is on food4less 159 central in oak forest,il) note it helps when there are labels saying (wic approved) in which it did at this location, so here i am ready to go to the register and to begin with the cashier was not friendly appeared to not be not so happy to be there as i noticed even with the prior customer so now its my turn and she says this isnt wic approved and so on, so i say how so? its labeled it is and Im not one to point out someones lack of knowledge but when she pointed at the half of gallon stating this isnt a half of gallon because it was written down in liters i had to tell her how such and such equaled to half gallon nonetheless it said wic approved on the label at their store, now i understand they have no control over items that are wic approved but i dont understand why the labels are up and not accurate and to top this off the cashier treats customers this way in such rude manner (rolling eyes and huffing and puffing and high breathing of frustration) as if its the customers fault, she gets the manager ( his name is Ralph) and he comes and tells me what and what isnt approved so i tell him okay well let me show you what labels need to changed here because they are misleading customer here, Im not sure if he got disturbed at the fact i walked him over to show him the misleading labels but he got upset and told me to get out of here with my wic coupons and to go to a different store to use them i was in very shock when he said that to me it was completely disrespectful he even walked away as he told me this, there are different approaches for this and he definitely didnt not want to have to deal with this and his way out was to say this to a customer even if it meant losing a customer.. i not only shop here for my daughter wic coupons but i shop there with my own cash on a everyday basis and to have to go thru this experience and get treated this way due to wic coupons is a shame and the employees here need to approach this differently i will keep emailing and complaining because this is not right, their should be ownership, respect of customers and proffesionalism here and unfortunately these employees at this food4less dont believe in this type of work ethic even with customers who use wic coupons. Im beyond saddened by this and Im trying to reach headquarters for a change in this and i wont stop until i do because this manner is unacceptable.
