I needed a laptop for school because mine needed to be fixed. They rented me a laptop that works very well and has no problems. Everyone there was extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional while still being able to make jokes and laugh. I really enjoyed renting for this location. If needed, I will definitely rent again.

Former Employee! OK I LOVED working the sales floor. Sadly I did not get to enjoy it enough. I was hired as the Sales Manager. As I quickly found out, I was engulfed into a world of doing everything due to employees calling in, leaving early, or quitting without a notice! Also being asked to go door knock and ask past due customers for past due money is not only dangerous but stupid. The only upside was the pay. I started out at 32k /40 hrs a week. My store manager Russell was amazing. My regional was nice but struggled to relate with everyday employees. I made it 7 months before I quit.

I was in need of an entire living room set since the furniture we had bought was not ready. We had family coming in town and needed something quickly. Not only did they accommodate my furniture needs, they worked me in so I could have it delivered quickly so guests would have a place to sit! They were professional, kind, friendly and efficient. When they made the delivery they came in the timeframe they promised and they were in and out quickly, I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to anyone needing furniture!

The guys were so friendly and helpful. They had the very chair I wanted and I feel so lucky that I got the only one at a super deal. They didnt know I just returned an $1,100. (before tax and delivery) chair today that does what the chair I purchased for $575. does. And the quality and comfort is so much better with the chair I just bought. Got the color I wanted. I got to sit in the chair with the heat on my back while I filled out the paper work. Talk about accommodating. Lol They cut up with me and made me feel so comfortable. The guy went over all the papers I signed and made it easy to understand what I was signing. Im going to be looking for an end table and a white fireplace as fall comes, and they get more in. Theyre so easy to work with and the price so reasonable. I cant believe I bought my chair today and get it tom. I cant wait to start using it. Thanks guys !!

Dan, at the Oak Ridge Rent-a-Center is one cool cat. I had originally placed an order with the Crossville location but wound up relocating back to where my permanent residence is. I had made a payment to the first location and for a considerable amount of time, my order was in limbo and I had a difficult time communicating with them. But when I called my local store, lucky for me, Dan was in charge and he kept on top of the situation better than I did. He got my payment transferred and, though I wound up messing up the order, he was able to fix me right up with just what I needed for my business. Now, I ready to get things on a roll. I am certainly happy with the way everything was handled.

So I had to replace my washer and dryer and had been searching all over Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City, and Harriman Tennessee. Like so many others right now with limited financial resources to spare, I wanted to again buy new without breaking my budget or my checking account by taking out a loan due to unknown future due to Covid 19. I called Rent A Center in Oak Ridge and spoke to Dan and Robert and told them what I needed, how much I could spend, and I wanted to get a new washer and dryer due to having a child with sensitive skin. Dan told me to give him a few days to make some calls and do some searching. On Saturday, Robert texted me and said the store had just received some new units inn and for me to swing by. These guys made the application, sales, and delivery painless and stress free! They walked me through each step, told me all of my options, and even set me up on Auto billing, so no worries about having to call inn to make my payments or miss a payment.If you need new appliances or furniture for your home, please give Dan or Robert a call before going on the hunt, and let them take the stress out of hunting and delivery for you. Robert was amazing. He was patient as well as extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products he sales. I bought a livingroom set from him that I absolutely love. At first I thought there was no way I would be able to get that in and out of an apartment so I was passing on it. He knew the ins and out of the set I wanted originally and they even made sure I knew how to do it myself as well. My mother needed a washer & dryer, we realize it cost more to do the rental but she had no choice really in having to use a rent to own store. They were very nice and helped her so much. They had a complete new set there. The store manager spoke to us and was very helpful.They do 6 months the same as cash and she will have it paid for in 6 months.Rent a center comes in great when you need something and you don’t have the money upfront.

I moved to oak ridge and needed a whole new setup. I got my whole living room, my office, and my bedroom furnished from this location. The staff has always treated me with respect and if i ever have a question they know the answer or they know where to find it. The manager is one of the best by far. I highly recommend this store. The delivery guys have never complained and always have a great attitude. I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor. No elevator. They are rockstars! Everyone here is at the top of their game no matter what. And Im looking forward to the black Friday deals coming up.

Supremely satisfied with my experience at this store! From the people at the top to the bottom, they were all so friendly and accommodating,I would probably have them all over to dinner just to chat and hang out lol but aside from being good people, they gave us great service as well,we just moved here from Scotland, so we didnt have everything you usually need, but they were so understanding and helpful, and made everything so easy, where usually we get a hard time for things like this, they made it a breeze and we will definitely be back at this store in particular for all our furniture or appliance needs,as they were also very transparent and honest about everything, there were no surprise costs as well as a small nick in the dresser top being pointed out to us and replaced before we could even see it for ourselves,so very happy with this service and with everyone there! Honestly. Dont waste your time. Save your money and buy what you want. Ive paid over 3k dollars to that store and have been a paying customer for a year and a half. Ive been late every so often and pay the late fee, it doesnt matter. They will take the product and bank what youve paid them, reguardless of you communicating with them. They will call your job when your not even late? Im a fool. Learn from my mistake and save your money. Everyones nice when they want something from you. Never again.

This place sucks! Never in my life had I had to deal with ignorance in my life. Especially when they call they say my payment is due, when they know I don’t get off work till 6, and can’t come till then. When they also know I don’t get paid untill every two weeks. And then they call at 6:01 pm when your not there. Chis the worst. Worst person I’ve dealt with! Never in my life have I had to deal with such ignorance in my life from this people. A rent a center guy came knocking on my door when I had a babysitter at the house watching my kid.the guy banged on the door really loud.babysitter talked to him threw the window because she is instructed not to open the door.she asked him why does he have to knock so loud enough to scare someone and he says he can bang on the door as loud as he wants too and was rude and argumentive with my babysitter who was only 17 .....shame on you oak ridge rent a center .Will be contacting customer service
