Today was just to get a Damage Repair Estimate for our insurance. Tina is so helpful in working with the insurance company to get you taken care. The adjuster was kind and efficient. We scheduled a repair date for their 1st available opening.

I had two vehicles at this shop. We were waiting for parts on the car so I brought the truck to get a dianoistic check only for him to get an attitude with me because I didnt wanna pay his price (for the spark plugs/coil). He then gets up from his chair and rushes into the garage to tell him to stop working on the truck, as if hes already started taking off parts,only to tell me that his mechanic has broken the spark plugs,trying to take it out. Very unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone of color to this establishment. The level of customer service i received from this situation made my decision easy and I strongly recommend avoiding this place and save yourselves some time, which is important

Went by and asked for an estimate. They were eager to give me an estimate. The price was a little high. They quoted starting two weeks later, which I could not accept due to transportation problems. If not for this, they would be working on my automobile next week.

Best place in town I dont trust anybody else with my vehicles...

Well worth the drive from Knoxville. If you want perfection, and quality you’ll get it here. I have worked with and known these guy for over 25 years. They fixed our car to perfection. You’ll not find more honest and likable guys then Donny, and Johnny Hitch and the crew. I guarantee you’ll not be disappointed in their service and work.

First and second review was deleted no idea why. So, took my 1985 D150 Down to them asking to get the truck up and running and do whatever needed to be done to fix it (emphasis on everything) took 2 almost 3 months for them to work on it. I called almost once every 4-5 days to check up on it and every time I called they said it would be done by the end of the week. Most of the time it wasnt done by the end of the week. My understanding on that situation was their one and only tec that works on older vehicles was on vacation at the time. Wouldve been nice to know so I didnt have to call once a week. But with that all being said. When my truck was finally done I went paid for it and started driving home. Not even 5 mins down the road the truck would not shift into drive. Spent the next 45 mins stuck in the middle of the turnpike waiting for a tow truck to tow it back home. Once home the tow truck driver revealed that the dipstick for Transmission fluid was dryer than a bone. AFTER just leaving the shop. I went and bought transmission fluid and once filled it started to work. ( Transmission fluid falls under everything). Needless to say was not happy with the professionalism or quality of service. Due to work being done at this shop and what appeared to sound like lack of employees with the knowledge on older model trucks, this truck is now currently sitting with a busted engine due to the faulty repairs. Would not recommend bringing older vehicles to his shop period. Also will post this again if deleted.

Chose this facility to repair my vehicle after I was rear-ended. Fantastic service, the finished product was perfect! They provided a touch up paint kit for the car just in case, and they had a great warranty on repaired items.

I was very impressed with the staff and service at Donny Hitch. I took my car in for a minor bumper repair. They were fast, courteous, and provided me a ride back to my house when I dropped the car off. They even went so far as to deliver the car back to me in the afternoon so that I didnt have to deal with moving my preschoolers car seat from one vehicle to another. What great service. And the car was cleaner coming back than when it went in. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

I am tempted to leave 2 stars, but theyre nice enough folks, including the mechanic that worked on my car, and I like the guy at the front desk. Yet, I dont understand how I got charged $100 to change a $10 running light (Bulb #3147k). So, I was the dumb one who didnt take the time to see if I could make the repair myself. Ive owned several vehicles and always changed my own bulbs. Yet, this latest vehicle I bought looked like it would require removing a lot of pieces to replace the bulb. Rather than go to YouTube and see how to do it myself, I just took it to the mechanic thinking that it wouldnt take them but a flash to change it and the nominal labor costs would be worth it. So, I get there early in the morning as advised, but it took them a very long time to find the missing bulb because it is a daytime running light and it wasnt light enough to find it. I could have just shown them to start with, but they decided they didnt need me initially. Actually, I walked into the shop because I realized I was going to get charged for the time they were taking to find the bulb and because I was afraid they would change the wrong bulb (fears that were realized). I showed them right where it was at and even carefully distinguished the correct bulb to replace from a different bulb next to it that did NOT need replacing. When they pulled the vehicle outside to see if they could get the daytime running light to come on automatically (but it didnt because it still wasnt light enough out), I carefully showed them the right bulb to change again. Can you guess which one they replaced? You guessed it: Instead of changing the $4 bulb, they changed a completely different kind of bulb, a tube bulb, that costs nearly $20 (just for the bulb). When I saw them come in with a box containing the part for my vehicle, I should have said something, but I figured they knew what they were doing. Then they spent a long time doing something or another and after 2 hours of waiting, they pulled the vehicle out into the daylight and now it was obvious that nothing had been fixed. I pointed to the bulb that was out, and they said it could be a loose wire or something, but that since it was raining, the couldnt work on it outside like they needed to (because daytime running light wont come on in shop) and for me to come back another time to have the wires inspected. Today, I finally got around to unscrewing the wheel well cover and replacing the correct bulb. All told it was $8 for the parts (2-pack bulbs) and about 5-10 minutes of labor. So, I fixed it myself but paid the other guys $100 (and they said that was only half-price charge because they didnt get my problem fixed. So, I will give them credit for being nice folks, but man...that means I cant chalk this up to ripping me off but rather ineptitude and incompetence! I hate to say it, but how does a mechanic rack up a bill like this and not change the right bulb after its shown to him multiple times and then the non-mechanical customer can do it with nothing but a screwdriver and his hand in 5-10 minutes?! So, I dont think I will be going back here. BEWARE: If you ask for an estimate, they will ALWAYS tell you that they wont know how much it will cost and cant tell you until the mechanic gets in there and starts working on it! So, you might wait 2+ hours like I did only to find out that they didnt get the problem solved, repaired something that was working just fine, and get charged $100 and told to come back another day! So, I learned a $100 lesson. Learn from my mistake. Btw, I was recommended there by a tire place in Oak Ridge that I do all my tire business with. So, recommendations from trusted sources arent always what theyre cracked up to be.

Got car troubles? Take your car to Hitch. This place is great. They are fast, give spot on estimates and friendly on top of that. They got my car on Monday afternoon, had it diagnosed by 5pm, told me they could have it ready by noon Tuesday. They called me back and said if I could wait until Wed. morning they had found a found a cheaper fuel pump and could save me $100! Never heard of a mechanic thats done that. Ask for Bobby.

They did a great job fixing my bumper, which was about to fall off. It was a lot less expensive then I thought it would be. They gave me an estimate within 5 minutes, and they showed me exactly what was broken and needed repairing. They said the part would be here in a week but it ended up only taking 2 days. When I brought my car in, it took them less then 3 hours to finish, and it looks great. They even cleaned off the front of it where it had been duct taped on and was all sticky. I would recommend them and I will bring my car back next time it needs any repairs.

My parked car was hit TWICE in a span of four months. The first time, the insurance company directed us to Donny Hitch and I liked their work so I went back the second time. I liked everything about them. The staff was courteous, the work was quality and fast, and the prices were fair.As a woman, what I REALLY liked was that they didnt treat me like Im an idiot. In my experience, misogyny is rampant in all levels of the auto industry (dont get me started on my experiences at parts stores). But at Donny Hitch, I was treated with respect and all conversation regarding finances and details of the repairs was directed to me, not my father who was giving me a ride after dropping off my vehicle.I would recommend Donny Hitch to anyone needing any work done on the body of their vehicle.

Had some significant damage to my F-350 after a wreck. Thanks to Donny, Grady and their crew you could not tell it ever happened. Looks as if it just came came of the showroom floor. Their team went over my truck very meticulously to make sure there was no frame damage and all repairs were done correctly and with the oem parts. My thanks to all of Donnys team for their excellent work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to be sure all the work is done correctly.

I was very optimisitic when I walked into Hitch Automotive as I had heard good things about them from other people. I leave them my car because it was starting but on and off, batttery troubles, starter stuff etc. I called and was told after a day that all they had done was run a diagonstic (obd2 sensor which I had already done previously and told them) and turned it on. I asked if they had done anything else and immediately donny got very upset and wouldnt tell me anything, mumbling about some things like fuel pressure and just told me not to pay and threw me my keys. I told him I would pay and even held the check I had already written for him out but he wouldnt take it. Incredibly unpleasant visit, if that doesnt take the cake my car smelled like an ash tray after it was inspected. Terrible place, I would not recommend.
