I highly recommend the brow bar. While the store has had some turn over with their brow girls quitting for some reason or other, every new person they have hired has done a great job on my extremely thick brows! As far as covid safety, they wear masks the whole time and keep things clean and sanitized.The store itself is well organized and has a great variety of price ranges and products. Every budget should be able to find something. They even carry vegan products, which I really appreciate. The workers have been extremely helpful, when Ive needed assistance finding a product. Also, the curbside ordering is wonderful, during this pandemic.The only thing Ive had issues with is the salon. This is the reason for them not getting a 5 star. The first girl I went to did a mediocre job on my hair. Then I tried Keely, who does a wonderful job. She does the best blow out and styling. However, I had an appointment with her last week and she passed me off to another stylist, because the girl before me still had wet hair and hadnt had her haircut yet. I wish she has called me and rescheduled. The girl who ended up doing my hair left it noticably longer on one side. I ended speaking with the manager who was very understanding and gave me a refund. If you can get an appointment with Keely and she ends up actually available to do your hair, you will love the result.Overall, I do recommend Ulta and the brow bar. Just be careful about the salon.

I’m a little disappointed with the cashier doing my return. I bought a product one week ago and realized it wasn’t my shade. So the following week I go into the store and asked for a refund (product wasn’t opened and I had the original receipt). They said I needed to sign up with the membership in order to do the return, but couldn’t put it back on my debit card since I wasn’t a member when I bought the product thus, only offering a store credit…. I feel like they didn’t know what they were doing and just wanted me to sign up with their membership. I didn’t want to argue, but the website says returns within 60 days with original receipt could credit via original form of payment. Returns are just as important as purchasing. Cashiers need understand the importance of both and how to do it on the register.

I had a horrible experience getting my hair done the other day. I showed the women a picture of what I wanted and it looked nothing like what I asked for. My sister who is not a hair stylist was able to do my hair much better than the women that was working. The first picture shows what curls I asked for and the second shows the braids I wanted. She couldn’t even do the braids so I made her take them down and then I ended up with these curls that are barely curled.

Great place to get your brows done and the staff is some of the most helpful and friendly people Ive met working retail in a lllloooooonnnnnggggg time. Keep up the good work and the smiles yall!

This is Ulta store makeups are my favorite store I love makeups etc. they are so friendly, clean and beautiful store and makeups are so perfect what I always want and look for! Love love love this place! Yall did excellent job!

I wanted to take time to give a review, something I rarely do. Brandon was the manager/associate who helped me today. He was knowledgeable of the products and a pleasure to deal with. I could go on and on about how helpful he was. I hope Ulta knows what an asset he is.

I had a wonderful experience at Ulta! Keely cut and highlighted my curly hair and let me tell you...this chick is AMAZING! Her personality is delightful and so genuine. I have had so many bad haircuts or subpar highlights done for years and I have never been 100% satisfied until now. Keely took her time and did a phenomenal job on my hair. From now on, she is the only stylist I will go to. A+++

Aimee the manager was super rude to another employee in front of customers. I was offended at her lack of decorum and professionalism. Haleigh was a joy and super helpful. It made me seriously rethink spending money here if the working environment condones open displays of public humiliation.

I normally have great experiences at this location, but I will never be back in this store. I came into this location with my mother. She was interested in buying Tarte’s shape tape. I told her that I had heard bad things about the brand, and because I had used the product before, I knew it would not work well on her skin type. An employee overheard me say this, and then proceeds to argue with me about my statements rudely by rolling her eyes and saying it was the “gold standard of beauty products”. It made both of us extremely uncomfortable. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. I was ready to buy several different products at this location, but walked out the door and went straight to Sephora. She herself looked like she had no makeup on, so it was very bold of her to offer her rude opinion on what I should put on my skin. Will never be back here again.

I absolutely love Keely at Ulta Oak Ridge! She takes the time to really consult with you on your color and cut. My family and I have been going to her since she started. She is very knowledgeable and has a great skill set! I think the pricing is comparable to other hair salons in the area. You get what you pay for and I get the best from Keely. Don’t let one bad review keep you from seeing her. There is always two sides to the story.....

Keely was a phenomenal stylist! She took the time to make sure that my hair cut was perfect. With the extra time at the end of my service she offered to curl my hair as well, which I’ve never been offered at other salons. She was very knowledgeable about my hair and taught me how to style it myself. I will never trust anyone else to do my hair and I’ve followed her from each salon she has worked at. Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had.

Had plenty of great experiences at this location, and I go here quite frequently. However, the past few times I’ve been, I’ve noticed the employees follow me around as if I’m stealing. It makes me feel super uncomfortable, and I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Cashiers and younger staff were all generally nice. Older lady with curly hair did not give off a professional demeanor and was very rude. The past 2 times we have gone in, she follows us around the store and watches us like we are thieves, and it is very judgemental

Bummed that I had such a terrible experience. I had an appointment at 5:45pm. Walked in 5 minutes early and noticed Keely still had a customer in her chair - this was normal as the 2 previous visits I waited 10-15 minutes for her to finish up. I walked around the nail polish waiting for her to finish. There wasnt anyone else around to check me in or anything so I figured I would just wait. She then went in the back for a while. When she came back she had washed the customers hair. She said she didnt see me. I have red hair and was wearing a bright yellow shirt and was just in front of the check in desk. She told me her current appointment is running longer and would be another 30-40 minutes. I was bothered but didnt want to act rashly so I told her I was not happy and went outside. After a few minutes of thinking it through, I returned to calmly tell her that I felt it was completely unprofessional to take another client when I had an appointment. She stared at me and offered to re-book my appointment for the next morning or something next week - but I specifically only book late afternoon or evening appointments. Her hair cuts were ok but overpriced for her skill level and she did take longer than expected to finish a cut.

Came here to buy Christmas present for my wife. I bought her a hair straightener and had no clue what I was looking for when I entered the store. I knew what brand she liked but there were about five of them and they all look the same. The staff there was very helpful and explain to me what I needed once I described the length and thickness of her hair. Thank you again for the help.

The store has a wonderful variety of products. There are many reasonably priced items. The fragrance selection is awesome. The staff was friendly.

Bought some Clarins beauty products for my wife because she likes the brand. A young lady was helpful in finding what I needed.

First experience was pleasant. My second visit to the hair salon not so much. My stylist took another customer and left the color on my hair longer than it should be left. She also left me in the shampoo area on my own for about 15 minutes. luckily another stylist found me and finished washing my hair. When I mentioned to her about trimming my ends ( which she offered to do when I arrived at my appointment) she exclaimed your ends dont really need to be trimmed. She also acted put out when I wanted my hair dried. This is all because she took a highlighting job on in the middle of my appointment. I think scheduled appointments should get priority over walk-ins. Odd how she mentioned that she wanted to do all these things until she was pressed for time. Extremely unprofessional.

Ok it got 3 stars only because I love Ulta and what they carry. Other than that, I can NEVER get someone to help me. The speed walk on by without even a smile or nod. If you want good customer service go to the one at Turkey creek.

I stood at the front for 20minutes. Every time Ive been in a Ulta beauty theres usually someone that helps you if needed. I was in the mood to try some new makeups and I wanted to try a little bit have everything but no one I feel like I mattered.

Got my eyebrows done by a great technician named Mary Grace. Found a cool honey mask to clean my pores so Im ready for so summer fun. 😏 Too tired for much in the way of summer fun, but Ulta was great. Great service and soooo many products in sooo many pretty colors.

Staff also treats you like your pleasure and patronage is their top priority so you never feel uncomfortable asking lots of questions or for recommendations. 10/10 staff here.

The brow bar is great! I’ve been getting my brows done at Ulta in turkey creek for over a year, but now I’ll only come here! They can almost always squeeze you in! Molly took the time to show me my brows several times to get the shape I wanted and didn’t mind showing me products that would work for me even though they were NOT from benifit. So thankful for the caring people here! Even if you are not shopping for expensive brands, the associates always can help find something cheaper and similar. Thank you Oak Ridge Ulta and Molly! ❤️

I went into Ulta for the first time today and I almost wanted to bolt. Huge store. Lots of products. Ive never bought makeup anywhere but Walmart and I dont consider myself a pro in the least. I wandered around a little lost at first but the help I found was awesome. They answered my questions. I didnt feel dumb or looked down upon due to my experience level or desired price range. I enjoyed my time there. I decided on a product with their help but ultimately came home to order a travel size of it from Ultas website because it was more in a price range my husband felt happy about me spending. I will definitely come back.

I love makeup and this is a store full of quality drugstore brands and high end retail brands of makeup, nailcare, haircare and skincare..plus accessories for above catagories. Its well laid out and easy to browse through the store. Prices are equivalent to what they should be and sale priced items are always marked down to a good price. Rewards members get bonus points which accumulate to discount at the register which I like. It gets 5 stars from me because of the variety offered, prices and that I dont have to drive to Knoxville to go makeup shopping anymore, I can do it right here in the town I live in

I had ordered a foundation online and ordered the wrong shade unknowing. The nearest ulta was an hour away and there was only one left in all three of the nearest. So I called the one that had it and asked if they could hold it for me, and they did. Was very satisfied.

They are snobish, I had to actually find a person that kept moving away from me and ask if they would mind helping me. They do not know their products. I have spent several hundred dollars several different times and get home with products that do not address my issues.

I went to my local Ulta with the end result to have my hair gray all over .I ended up with over 6 inches of my hair being cut off because of all the damage done and my hair is still brown. This was about 7 months and over $1200 later. Ridiculous to spend this much money and I have requested twice for the general manager, Christine Musser, to call me and still no response.
