August 27th, 2021 and they are closed at 6:30pm. Every time in the past 2 months weve tried to come here its been closed. Does anyone know anything? Are they closed for good?
Very courteous and very thorough.
I can’t express how thankful I am for Mrs. Cindy & her staff at Pizza Inn located here in Oak Ridge. Our flag football team wanted to have a small team pizza dinner. We show up and they were actually closed for training.. Mrs. Cindy didn’t turn us away though instead her and her staff welcomed us in and treated us like family! ❤️The service was amazing!! 👏🏼The pizza and desert was 🔥 💯
My experience was good but I do not like the hours lunch is from 11:00 to 2:00 and dinner is from 5:00 to 8:00 I did not care for those hours.
The couple highlights were the clean bathroom, probably because there were very few people there, and what food that was received was good. Extremely understaffed, little to no pizza on the bar, most of the time no pizza, salad bar was 90% empty, the few staff members that were there were either new and clueless or WAY over worked. Our waitress was new, or so it seemed, and could only laugh and make excuses rather than bring our drinks after a reminder and a 15min wait we finally got them, most of them. Our ticket was wrong and never was fixed. As we were leaving she laughed and told us they were now out of dough. That was several hours before closing. Shame on upper management for allowing this to happen. Your staff deserves more help, better training, and the customers deserve better service all around. If thats the best you can do you may want to consider doing carryout only again. We dont plan to return anytime soon.
It was not worth the $30.00 my husband and i spent food was cold service sucked and to me Id send all your customers to Partners Pizza they know how to do service with a SMILE and they are way cheaper
The Waitress was wonderful, yet the pizza and other food really isnt something which I would write home about!! If could most certainly be better!!
Wanted a change from what Ive been eating everyday was well pleased with choice. Service was too notch.
My family has always loved this place, and I get that everyone is short staffed, but is it too much to ask that you update your hours on your website? Or, could you not have a message on your phone stating the days youre closed. In this age of electronics I cant believe a note on your door is the only way to let your customers know your hours of operation. My family drove 25 miles only to find you were closed! Terrible customer service when your website states youre open.
Amazing experience! I have food allergies and brought my food in from elsewhere while my family ate here. I mentioned to my server why I had outside food. She went on to explain many gluten friendly options for my next visit. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating to my issues. Kudos to Pizza Inn! They have Gluten Free options!
Although this business had been a favorite of mine back in Missouri, I cant say the same for the Oak Ridge location. Alexus was our server and incompetent and rude to say the least. Only checked on our table once at nearly the end of the meal. Asked if we wanted drinks and waited nearly 15 min for our refills. Not even busy. Spoke with the manager who is the only reason they are getting two stars. He apologized and removed our drinks from the ticket. Then Alexus proceeds to point and talk about our table making a complaint to another customer. Disappointed is an understatement. I will only return if Alexus isnt assigned to our table.
The server was great.Pizza was cold.An older gentleman that was a cook wasnt wearing a mask and coughing everywhere. Manager said she couldnt enforce anyone to wear a mask. Whats the point of being a manager if you cant enforce your own team to health dept rules?
Everything was hot, fresh and had a variety. Very clean facility
The waiter, Matthew, definitely does his best to make guests feel welcomed and at ease with the new mask mandates. Made it very clear how to use the bar under new regulations, and was upbeat and positive despite me being the only customer he’d had in over an hour. ( I had a late lunch around 2:30pm)First time I’ve ever been in and made an impression. Delightful staff, clean, and very up to speed on helping at risk folks enjoy their time at pizza inn. Thanks Matthew for the great service.
Get this place opened back up for in person dining! Let us make up our own mind. There are tons of normal people who want to come in and eat!! ❤️😁
Very very short staffed and variety of pizza and salad bar was the worse by far literally 1 or 2 pizzas to choose from and no lettuce at all to choose from. Price was not worth it by no means. On a different note what staff they did have working at the time were very nice and polite.
Pretty good food. I enjoyed the salad bar, the marina was a bit too tomatoy for my taste. I give them a 7 on a 1 in 10 scale.
Terrible service with attitude. Dirty dishes all over the place. Food was awful and cold .
Stopped by the one in Oak Ridge but they were closed at 4:30 pm on Monday love their pizza
Closed on 9-03 a Friday at 7 makes no sense because that’s when you’d be making money and no signs to explain why
This place is HORRIBLE. If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a 13th bday party scheduled for my son yesterday 3/6/21. This party was scheduled far in advance. We show up, along with every person invited, and the place is closed. They had handwritten notes on the doors stating they were closed due to inadequate staffing. NOT ONE PERSON EVER CALLED TO LET US KNOW THAT THEY NEEDED TO CANCEL OUR SONS PARTY. My husband put in a call to the owner. No call back. My husband just happened to run into the owner on Monday 3/8 or we would have never been contacted. Really? He apologized several times and said he had called the manager and instructed them to call us. We NEVER received any call from anyone. The owner said he was under the impression that we had been called. He only offered an apology. While we appreciate that, he offered nothing to make it right. This was our sons 13th birthday party. We called the Pizza Inn on Clinton Hwy and they came through for us. GO THERE INSTEAD.They apologized to us over and over on behalf of the Oak Ridge location. The actions of the Oak Ridge location, or lack thereof, caused our entire days plans to be pushed back and we almost missed an event we had scheduled in Knoxville. We will never be customers at the Oak Ridge location again. This was truly Bad Business.
Good food. Great prices
Been here several times and always great food and super friendly staff
AWESOME service. Clean facilities. The best pizza in TN!
Nope.. not the Pizza Inn I am use to. This is more like CiCis. Dont waste time here.. Go to the one in Knoxville.Clinton Highway
It was overall okay in my opinion. I did like the way they were still allowing self serving and their mask rules, thats not a problem. The food as a whole was kind of off? Like just really really dry and kind of overcooked. That stated, sanitation was great and the service was great.
Bar empty ask for pasta and pizza 20 minutes later nothing
Update: We went recently and had Matthew as a server and he was amazing. I think the issue with service is they seem to only ever have one server for the whole building and they are run absolutely ragged. Please get more servers! We love going here as a family. They’re pretty good about accommodating large groups on short notice. The pizza is great and you can request a certain one when you get there. Our favorites are BBQ chicken, cheeseburger, loaded potato, and chocolate chip. The service is not fantastic and we often wait a long time for drinks, but the food makes up for it for me!
Food was good, staff friendly & it was clean
Clean, quite environment. Friendly service and filled our request for pizza that we wanted. Chicken soup was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and prompt. Fair prices for buffet. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was not good at all
Wasnt open for dine-in when they were supposed to be
So so dining experience. Typical pizza buffet place. The salad bar is decent and the chili is pretty good. The pizza is average but theyve got a good variety. Like most pizza buffets, the desserts are the best part. Overall, this place is average - nothing to go clamoring for but a nice, clean place to get your dessert buffet on.
Over priced pizza was over cooked
Great place great pizza. Especially there special pizzas
It is decent pizza. If you go during peak time...6-7 its super busy so you have to wait for pizza to come out. However, if you tell your server what kind of pizza you would like they will do their best to make sure you get it, so that was nice. Their dessert pizzas are amazing. I feel like thats why we go when we do.....
They always have fresh pizza on the bar and if you would like something special just ask your waitress shell places order. Be sure to try the Bavarian creme dessert pizza very good. My favourite of the desserts.
Pizza is good, but not great. About what one would expect at a buffet. I do like that they will make you a pizza at your request. ☺ Very attentive to keeping your used plates off the table. Salad bar was fresh. Very good service by the wait staff.
It was ok better than some . my favorite pizza tho is Big Eds Oak Ridge Yn
The best part is the dessert pizza!! It is a must have. The service was prompt and friendly. I will say though that we have ordered pizza from here recently and taken home. It was an amazing pizza!! Better than what is on their buffet. Will definitely be ordering our own pizza instead of the buffet from now on.
If they could keep it cleaner, Id of given them a 5 star. For a pizza buffet, it is good. Salad and soup is on point.
This is a very well-run Pizza Inn and way better than any other pizza buffet chain. They keep the buffet well stocked and clean. They take very very good care of you. I highly recommend. We go for about every birthday!
Good pizza, salad bar seems always fresh. Service for the most part is good. They do great at fixing the pizza you want.
A very nice dinner. There were 19 of us for a birthday party. We were sit in one of the side rooms it couldnt have been better. The service was great.the food was what you would expect. Altogether a very nice evening.
Always love this place. Today it was very busy and loud. The salad bar needed restocked and there is never broccoli cheddar soup any more
Great service and great social distancing!
Awesome place to take a family to eat. Great value. The variety of foods on the buffet was impressive. The desserts were incredibly delicious and it is easy to fill up. We will be back to eat here again.
Great pizza buffet! So many unique pizzas and all for less than a single take home basic pizza. Rewards program is easy to add too! Staff has always been good to me as a newer visitor so cant wait to be a regular
The food wasnt really available..a lit,of empty trays..we waited in line to pay for a long time and once we did she rang up the wrong thing and charged us way over..we told her and she said okay she would fix it..then they had us move registers to the 2nd one and reminded them to fix it..I gave my portion and walked out to take a phone call and we were charged the extra anyways. The salad was all I really liked. Definitely not worth the price as there are way better options.
The buffet had lots of options, but most of the pizza was only average. There was never a shortage of food and the salad bar seemed well-stocked. The price point, for me, is a little high at $9 each plus drink though, as the local buffet in my hometown is a couple bucks cheaper and features pastas and soups as well.I would probably have rated them 3*, but their customer service was top-notch. The waiter was quick and asked if we had requests, then made sure we got some of the requested pizza before it went on the bar, which I thought was a nice touch. In short, if you want to get full, its an option, but if you want really good pizza for your money, youll need to go elsewhere.
Service was good but the food tasted old/spoiled and then was cooked and served.
I got a pizza to go. It was delicious.
Amazing pizza! The place has such a relaxing vibe. Love going here with my friends!
They have a wide selection of pizza, the crust is not the way we like it.. We like thicker crust. The place is nicely decorated, the doors to the restroom stalls need cleaning. The service from employees was good..
Pretty good for the price, about $12 for the buffet & a drink. Sometimes they have trouble keeping up with the demand. We went at 5pm on a Saturday & there was literally no pizza ready & the place wasnt even half full. Service wasnt bad tho. Overall not great but also not terrible.
Great food and great service!! Will definitely be going again!
All you can eat buffet. Pizza is edible if not exactly appetizing. Recommend if youre trying to fill up teenagers, but Id go elsewhere for any other group. Staff is friendly and helpful, and they will make you whatever type of pie you might like. Moderately clean.
I’m. I’m da ads. asw
The service was good but the food was cold. My family usually goes to a different location and the food there is amazing. This location just wasnt the same. They also charged for my 2 kids where at the other location they are both free. I will not be going back.
Good service. Fast because you can just go up to the food bar. You dont have to wait for food to cook.Food is alright. Atmosphere is casual.
Love this place. If they dont have your favorite pizza, whatever it happens to be, theyll make it! Good price for all you get.
Yummy and fresh, good service, delicious dessert pizza!
Very reasonably priced, this is a popular place with families. Its not quiet! But if you dont mind being seated next to a birthday party, then you will enjoy Pizza Inn. They have a soup & salad buffet and a pizza & pasta buffet. Both buffets together and a drink for under $11.00 per person.
Hardly any food out on bar. No lettuce on salad bar. No plates for salad. I would recommend the Pizza Inn on Clinton Hwy over Oak Ridge any day.
Its good pizza. Most of it is kind of a flaky thin crust. The best thing they have is the Chocolate chip cookie dough dessert pizza! It amazes me every time how good it is.
Pizza was kinda cold. Service could of been a bit better as well. Some of the pizzas were fresh atleast. So thats a plus.
A lot of the pizzas were not fresh. And the salad bar wasnt taken care of. Any other time I went in there everything was fresh and hot this time it really sucked.
We always have a great experience at this location. Very friendly staff and an excellent selection of pizzas. We have been coming to this location for at least 4 years and have never been let down
Staff was very nice. Our waitress took her time assured we were cared for totally. Our choices in pizza and happiness in the product. Never thirsty my husband drinks alot of tea. That kept her busy and she was very happy to be there.
I was not impressed with the pizza at all. Granted I didnt know what I was really going into. The pizza crust was good but several of the toppings had a metallic taste. The salad bar was great. And I know the kids must love it. The price 7.99 for low quality pizza at lunch seemed a bit more than I would have expected. I would go back but only if I was taking my kids. I give it three stars and would say its mediocre at best.
Oh my goodness! I couldnt believe it took me so long to discover this place. My granddaughters introduced me to Pizza Inn and I love it. I love the pizza and the dessert pizzas are to die for! Thanks girls! We go every chance we get now.
Had to wait on pasta for over 20 minutes for my daughter. Also potato soup was cold. Crust on pizza was tough. At noon you had to wait on silverware. Staff was not friendly.
My daughter, 4yo grandson & I visited Sunday afternoon (thought it was a good time but football game was on TV) Food was very good (very busy- Has been better during slower times) Server was also very good considering the amount of customers. This was not our 1st visit wont be our last. Highly recommend great food and family friendly
Great food and service. The buffet is super nice with good selections, including salad bar. Great place for groups and kids. Has games to play for the kids.
I know its busy l, but almost nothing left on the bar. The Food we have managed to get it we can beat the line isnt good. The lettuce was rotten on the salad bar and the ranch tasted tangy in a sour way. This place is awful and I wont be back. My server however was great. She was busting her tail trying to take care of everyone.
I ordered for pickup, and I dont think they started making it until I arrived, which isnt great. I have a nostalgic connection to Pizza Inn, but most Ive been to recently arent in the greatest shape. This place was nice and clean, and if I had known that I probably would have just eaten at the buffet. The food was great as always.
Came in 30 minutes after they opened and there wasnt a single pizza ready even though there was people waiting. Then they bring out 1 pizza for 3+ groups and the desserts. Not very good management. Wait staff was good but the person in charge of food prep needs to be relieved of their job.
Brought my children here for pizza. Im allergic to it so I got the salad bar. They were almost completely out of lettuce when I went up for my first salad. Asked my waitress to see if they could restock since that was all I was eating. Went for my 2nd salad and there was none at all. Asked them to restock again and still nothing. Kids finished eating, checked one more time and still nothing. So I left still hungry and still had to pay full price for a salad bar to get one very small salad.
Our server was a sweet person and took good care of us. Everyone else was rude or unfriendly. And the food had been our awhile.
Apparently it was shift change when we were seated. One server took our drink order, the other came by and said Ill be your server now. She never paid attention to us, I had to walk up to her to get refills. Pizza on buffet had been there a while. When we asked for a pizza they said it would be 35-40 minutes. We didnt have that much time.
This is the place my daughter loves to go eat after dance. The staff is great and always makes sure you have the pizza you want ready for you. Daughter loves the chocolate chip cookie pizza!
Was a little disappointed when we first got there because they had VERY LITTLE pizza options on the buffet. BUT...... everyone jumped in and started taking care of us. Any pizza requests, they did right away and it didnt take them long to fill the buffet up. Our waitress (Belinda, I believe was her name)-- she was AWESOME!! She kept our drinks filled and plates cleaned off the table. At one point, we had asked for a special pizza and when it was ready, she brought it and extra plates to serve us!! WOWZERS!! Even when they got busy, they still were awesome. Great food too!
I tried to call to inquire what the hours were on Christmas Eve, after driving by to see if alternate hours were posted. They would not answer the phone and even took it off the hook. This is an indication of how they treat customers.
Very pleasant and clean atmosphere! Great place for a childs party... best of all, the restroom was freaking clean! 😊
Best pizza
One of our favorite pizza restaurants. They always have good service and a great selection on their buffet! We drive from Maryville to eat there. Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the best.
Service is good, if not unenthusiastic. The food is underwhelming with an exception: the desserts. They are AMAZING. But they go fast, so grab em while theyre hot! All in all, a less tasty Ci Cis. $9 for the buffet which is a decent price, but that doesnt include a drink.
I didnt think the pizza was very good, the salad bar was very good. Service was good. Nice people at the front desk.
The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the pricing was ok. There is a decent variety of pizza, although I didnt see traditional flavors such as pepperoni or cheese, however you can request pizza if there is anything else you want. There is a small salad bar, 2 soup choices, and a couple of pasta and sauce options. Overall variety and selection were good, and the atmosphere was fine. My biggest dissatisfaction and the reason for 3 stars was the temperature of the foods. We dined right around noontime, and everything looked fresh, however the pizza, soup, and even the sauces were just not that hot. I dont think they have their buffet turned up high enough maybe. I definitely suggest small plates and multiple trips to the buffet bar to maximize enjoyable temperatures.
OH MY!!! I havent had Pizza Inn in over 10 years! It was AMAZING!! I went to TN to visit friends and they let me pick where we went for pizza. It was btwn Pizza Inn & CiCis. Pizza Inn will win EVERY time!!!!
The dessert pizza is really the only good pizza. Salad bar is fine. Games are in poor shape, prizes cheap and poorly stocked, and some machines have been broken for months (with no sign, and will eat quarters).
My family loves to go here. We can all actually agree on one place to eat. I have a very picky eater and they only have one specific food that he will eat. They always make sure to have plenty of it. Plus, they have a great salad bar as well.
All you can eat pasta and pizza buffet including drink for $10.99. All food is great especially the dessert pizzas :)! Fast & friendly service. Only downside is No Beer.
As someone who has eaten at the Clinton Pizza Inn, I can honestly say that this one doesnt even compare at all. The pizza is of adequate temperature, their desert pizzas are more pizza dough than actual toppings, the servers were nice, but much too distracted to help the very few people there. The pizzas didnt come out fast enough to accommodate the few patrons. In summary, go to the Clinton Highway Pizza Inn for a much better overall experience.
Love this place. Pizza is better than Cicis. Clean, great wait staff.
