10 years ago !I found Mr. Screwdriver shop about 10 years ago and he tuned 2 radios, 1 of them with a TS DX 667v he even taught mw how to use an old Dentron super tuner lol...email him with a question 7/17/21 and he answered me next business day. I received my radio in the time frame I was told Id get it in before placing my order. I had all my questions answered quickly with no BS sales pitch ever, just helpful facts. After receiving my 29 the first time I made contact with someone (35 miles away) they responded with now thats a radio!, insisted I was on a linear and told his partners we should have radios like that. Im not on an amp, just the Mosfet that was installed on my 29 with the carrier 6 watts and 38-45 watts peak. Definitely will be back when Im ready to upgrade again. One of the few people still doing business with integrity like it always should be done.

I wanted to install my old Galaxy radio in my 2013 F350, but the radio is too big for modern trucks. After contacting Bells, they turned me onto their YouTube video of the Uniden 520 that is a great compact radio. A 510 model is shown mounted instead of the 520 for my purpose. I mounted a 4 foot Skip Shooter antenna and usually transmit to 4 miles, but I live around thick trees. Thanks Bells.

Best shop that I know.. they definitely go out of their way if at all possible to see that your needs are taken care of. I used to be able to go in person years ago when I worked down there. I recently posted a bad review about my radio being returned and not fixed. Well the radio had some issues with it. I appreciate Bells CB for offering to give me a new one. The problem was not bells CB. It was the manufacturers fault. So I had a local technician fix it. I didnt want to keep sending it out. Bells CB even offered to even pay for the tech work. That was a nice offer. I apologize for the mix up. Thank again.

I bought a galaxy dx47hp last week. Got it installed with a new 636L mike and new extension speaker and you can barely hear the talk back. Radio doesnt hear as well as my 33hp2 and has an issue of trying to squeal and static, so now Im going to take it to a local shop instead of paying for shipping there and back to see what is wrong.

Super nice group. I ordered my radio from them and they were able to get it to me quick. Radio is very clean. I’d definitely recommend them. I tend to stick with emails and I was surprised how quick they will respond to you.

These guys at BELLS are amazing! Their customer service and satisfaction is a top priority. I was having an unknown electrical/transmit problem installing a transceiver I purchased from them in my vehicle. I reside about 80 miles north of their shop but returned for help. At one point I had 3 technicians working on my vehicle to diagnose the problem with their equipment. They relentlessly worked to make sure I was fully satisfied. Of course I was!!!

This is my Go To place for Cb radio equipment and repair ...I had a situation where I purchased a radio a few years ago..the radio wasnt producing the watts it claimed..I sent the radio back..after going back s d forth a while on the phone. WE realized that my power supply was not strong enough..The situation was my bad..Rather than insulting me.The owner treated me with Respect and told me the correct power supply I needed..That ment slot to me considering I spent extra of his time...Its nice to know these types of businesses are still around...Cowboy james

Called to get clarification on a question I had about modifications. An employee named Heather answered the line and I explained my question but she obviously did not understand me and came back with the wrong answer. When I explained the second time she put me on hold again and this time the owner (Carl I believe) came on with a nasty attitude, almost as if I bothered him on his precious time. Not the kind of customer service I appreciate. I took my business elsewhere.

Walked into Bells a week ago needing a handheld CB that works both on the regular and low channels. They provided exactly what I needed and fully explained how to best operate the radio. Ive used the radio for a week and am most pleased.So very nice to deal with a knowledgeable professional.Been using CB for almost a year now with pleasure. It transmitts 2 miles clearly. My fellow club members think Im on my mobile.

Screwdriver has a golden screwdriver. He is a top notch tech. If you have a question or concern, just give him a call, he will talk to you on the phone. Prices are competetive. I recently drove 4 hrs one way to have him match my Dx400 to my Dx959 and give it an alignment/well check( bought from him 6 or 7 yrs ago) . Picked up a 75 amp power supply and Antron 99 while I was there. Nothing but good audio reports AM and SSB.5 stars.

I want start with Ive heard that bells was one of the best.not so much in my opinion! bought two radios two mics and upgrades for both. one lasted two weeks .when contacted they said just open it up see if anything looks bad. Not send it back we will have a look at it. The worst service ever

These guys are hard to get ahold of. Called multiple times, left vms. Messaged on facebook, sent email. Needed simple tech advice and cant get an answer. One time they did answer, and girl said that tech would call me back. A week later........ no call.

My name is Danny from Belle Mo, I bought a Galaxy 98 VHP about a year ago from Bells CB. The radio is a very good radio, I talk about 35 to 40 miles on it every day. I did have an issue with the radio when I first got it, there was a wire pinched behind the face plate from the factory that was causing it to squeal when I keyed the mike, I sent it back to Bells and they fixed it immediately and sent it back within a week at no charge to me. The radio has worked flawlessly ever since. I do recommend using a noise canceling mike with it as the power mikes are too much and dont sound good on the receiving end. Hope this helps. I would definitely recommend Bells CB to anyone. I gave Bells CB only four stars because of the pinched wire and having to send it back.

Knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and professional. I can count on one hand the stores I have shopped like this. They are rare. Sure when you want quick and dirty, the big box stores are great. But what if you want great? Theres a word here are a few more, above board, honest, integrity to name a few. Highly recommended. I searched the internet high and low, read many forums, people say good things about Bells and there may be some CB shops that are as good but I doubt you will find better. I own a dozen different radios, electronics, RF well its a hobby. I have all the equipment and tweak tune and repair the old stuff myself, though I am no professional I have the toys, 100MHz O-scope, tone generators, frequency counter, antenna analyzers, even a spectrum analyzer oh and yes even the shameful dosys. But when it came to purchase a new radio with SMD components well, yeah I did cut my own circuit board and used SMD components to make a 2.4GHz SWR meter once upon a time, but those days are gone for these old retired eyes. If you dont know what Im talking about then no worries, just go to Bells. Great folks, great service, great advice. They know what and when to leave alone. I ordered a radio, cable, mount, stud, mic and they had the nerve to suggest a better stud and cable and refunded the difference. Talk about signal to noise...most folks never do that. They would just take your money and laugh. Ask them for advice, they will help you they will probably help you even if you dont ask. Be patient, it takes time to do good work. If you want a professional job just wait a little. Not a lot of time either, the cost to you is the same, you want shoddy and quick or wait a few days and get great? Ill probably never visit their store as it is just too far away but internet shopping is just fine. You should have seen the way the order was packaged. I have never seen better. I ordered some stuff off fleabay that came with Styrofoam peanuts. I thought they stopped producing those lousy annoying little angel t%^&s decades ago. Well have no fear. Bells uses closed cell and open cell foam strips that wont settle out allowing your merchandise to get beaten to h e double toothpicks. No blown up bubble packs like I always get from Amazon orders. Not thrown in a box with newspaper. I love the way they pack stuff. All the other boxes I burn but this one Im keeping to store the foam strips. Great packing material. Attention to detail another sign of professionalism. Not a single scratch on the radio. Now I know they tuned it with a mic just like the one I ordered but they sent me a brand new in the package one. I had to cut it out. I am very impressed with and grateful to the folks at Bells. I had a fantastic purchase experience. Ill bet you will too.

I called Bells to inquire about the RCI 69ffb4 radio, it was out of stock but the gentleman suggested I take a look at the RCI 2970n4. I called back and spoke with Skrewdriver about the radio and upgrades. He was patient and extremely helpful, so I ordered the radio from the internet site after business hours. 9 pm Monday evening I get an email from Skrewdriver asking about the purchase because PayPal had messed up, mind you, my payment cleared and there was no name on it only my email.I called Bells cb shop at 10pm, hoping to leave a message and Skrewdriver answered. He sorted through the emails and PayPal site until he found my purchase order. This kind of customer service is unrivaled anymore in the U.S.He emailed me multiple times that night until we had it figured out. Honesty, integrity, top notch workmanship...BELLS CB SHOP. I received my $900 radio, its an absolute monster and Im extremely happy. More businesses could learn from Bells, customer service and support, top notch.Lastly, Im a long haul trucker, I spoke to multiple truckers who had dealt with Bells, I read the reviews on line and in the forums. I was buying a $900 radio but I wasnt buying it from any other shop if I couldnt buy it from Bells. Skrewdriver...Thank you Sir!!!
