I was looking for a used Mustang and asked for a quote on my trade along with all the fees so I could see the OTD price. First they wouldnt provide the price sheet. They had a sales rep walk through it with me. They gave me an initial value of my trade which was a good $6k below KBB Instant Cash Offer and $7-$10k below what I was being offered at other dealerships. When they went through the price sheet they tried play the tax saving off as if it was added value to my trade like it was something they added to the trade. It is not... I already paid tax on that amount they did nothing. Final nail in the coffin was the fees. I am not sure when reconditioning fees became a thing but it is just a game that allows them to lower their advertised price and hit you after you have spent hours working on a deal. All together their fees where double that of other dealerships. This is not the first dealership I have run into that has done this but if this is a new trend it needs to be ended.

See updates.....Drove 2 hours to see this gorgeous 2009 two door Toyota Tacoma with under 50,000 miles, Ben Jackson made it happen! Right off the bat I was treated very well and got a fair deal on my trade in. Well worth the late night and drive. Ben truly made the process simple and quick. The fluids are so clean as well as everything else. The issue is I was told this vehicle was in a minor accident NOT MAJOR. Brakes and calipers were gone also but I expected that. The damage to this truck shows that this truck was hit very hard. The rear of the truck had a bent rim, all wheel bearings needed replacing and the axel shaft was also bent. Long story and 2 grand later im driving around crab walking because the axel is not straight. The cabin filter was never changed and looking deep into this truck aside from the body repairs you cannot see anything else this shop did to help this truck.

Tried to buy first car for my son. Looked at a 2016 Ford Focus. Planned on paying cash for it. Initially when I spoke to the sale agent he said he could work on the price (sticker price just over $10K) after letting him know we are looking to pay cash and what our budget was out the door. No problem he says he can work with us. He came back with 13k!!! $875 dealer fee??? For what when all the registration is electronic now? Another fee for something like a restock fee he claimed it’s the cost fixing a trade in prior to resell but he couldn’t provide what was actually done on the car! So in essence I would be paying more than what the car is worth due to their BS fees. Don’t go here!!! It’s a scam!!!Called on Monday and had to leave a message, I figured I wouldn’t hear back. Not surprised by this operation.

Sales rep basically blew a sale after dissing my husbands findings...My recommendation? Do your homework!

VERY UNSATISFIED with this company and the customer service. My husband and I have done MULTIPLE purchases from them, we recently purchased 2 vehicles and have traded them in elsewhere. I have been trying for 8 WEEKS to get my gap insurance and warranties refunded. I spoke to Ramon who said he submitted everything and he told me 6-8 weeks for a refund. 7 weeks in I emailed him to get an update and he IGNORED the email. I waited until 8 weeks (today) and made the phone call down there. After 3 HOURS, multiple messages left and continued to call and ask for a manager, Allen said he’d handle this. Ramon called me back only to tell me the refunds were never processed. I was told by Ramon AND Allen I would get a phone call today on the updates from accounting. After more calls and messages, I am still being told our refund will have to start at SQUARE ONE of being processed and another 6-8 weeks. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, THEY ARE WITHHOLDING OVER $5,100 IN THE REFUND AND THE MOST INCONSIDERATE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE.WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

I went in to look at what their inventory was and ran into the nicest salesman Ben. He was so patient and kind. He took a lot of time with me looking for the perfect vehicle. I recently bought a 2018 Chevy Trax from Auto Max Ocala. I couldnt be more pleased. My salesman Billy Hart, was extremely helpful, during the test drive I noticed an alignment issue, Billy had that corrected. After buying the car and taking it home I noticed a break issue. I called Billy and told him what I found, he asked me when I could bring it up to him and set an appointment to have the breaks fixed. It wasnt until that following weekend, and Billy was there waiting for me. He took me to the mechanic and then disappeared. I would highly recommend Auto Max of Ocala and Billy Hart to anyone I know looking for a car.

Im basing this review on my experience with my sales rep. Andres Gonzalez. Easy to communicate with, fast responder and helped me get in and get out on what I needed to do. Andres knew more about the Ford that I was looking at and gave me more information about the trim level and model than Ive heard the actual Ford salesmen explain to me, which shows me Andres researches the vehicles before he tries to sell them, which is great.Side note: The managers will not immediately match the price that their website gives you for your vehicle. Andres thankfully fixed that for me.I did have to clean up the car a little bit more after I bought it, was some grime from the cleaning products used by the car detailer.

Nice selection of vehicles, typical pushy sales reps that try to close a deal and dont really know about the cars they are talking about.😂 i think this one comes with a SEVEN speed manual transmission. Technically a six speed manual transmission with a reverse gear is a seven speed. They had one vehicle i was intrested in. Perhaps I will buy from here, but sorry Mr. Salesman, I have been in sales longer than you probably and I am also a mechanic... you will not pressure me into buying the first car without shopping around.

This car lot has a better chance at getting you lower payments on your car. We bought a 2013 Honda Civic last year, 280 a month. Now I did have 1,500 to put on it too but still a good buy. As you can see my son really likes the car. And for some reason someone took our AutoMax license plate . Imagine that. Gonna go there again.

This is our second car buying experience from AutoMax and once again, they never disappoint! My 21 year old son decided that he wanted to trade in his car and get a newer car on his own. I searched online and found a few cars that he was wanting to look at. I was quickly texted by Dan Gallagher, who was one of the most professional, knowledgeable, trusting salesman we have ever dealt with. Due to our work schedules, we werent able to go right away, but every time I reached out to Dan...even on his days off, he responded right away and kept me very updated with the status of the car. Yesterday we were able to go into the showroom and let me just say, they were super busy, but that didnt stop Dan from apologizing over and over for us having to wait...(he was super fast and we barely had a wait at all). My son test drove the car and loved it, but my husband and I felt like it was beyond his price point, so he decided to try a year older with less mileage (same exact car) and were able to work a phenomenal deal with payments exactly where they needed to be. After a disappointment at VW of Ocala, I passed by this AutoMax and by chance found a hidden gem. Decided to look around and found the EXACT car I was looking to purchase.
