I took my boat to another business to replace the impeller. It sat for 7 weeks and got the run around. Then i was told by a friend to try out Mike (Owner) of MNC Small Outboards. I called Mike. He took my boat in on A Friday or a Saturday ( cant remember). But he had it done on a Tuesday. Not 7wks, thank goodness.Very fair on pricing and knowledge. Has my business for now, and recommend him to anyone!

Bought my 1986 12hp Nissan outboard to Mike because for the 1st time in 34 years it wouldn`t start. I bought it to Mike because he specialized in older, smaller engines. Mike had it up and running within a short time and the cost of repair was most reasonable. Mike is very knowledgeable and freely shares his knowledge with you. Good mechanic and great guy. Extremely friendly, sociable, & knowledgeable. I cant speak on his rates because this was my first time using an outboard mechanic. He quickly found the issue with my motor, & (at my request) put in new plugs, & cleaned my carburetor. The motor runs great. Even what I perceived as an unrelated issue disappeared & I now get an extra 6 mph on glassy water. That doesnt sound like much, but it is when I was topping out at 24 mph. Couldnt be happier.

I called this man to ask a few questions about a problem I was having, and without hesitation took time out of his day to help me out and explain some things over the phone that made sense to me and resolved my problem without even having me come in and spend money $$ ! Now of course thats not why most people get into business, and he may not always be in a position to do that for everyone, however it is the great generosity he gave me and advice that would make me refer this man to anyone ever commenting about needing help working on an outboard . This man obviously knows his stuff . And has a great hourly rate compared to anyone else in town ! Give MNC small outboards a call !!!! Without a doubt .. OFF TO THE WATER!!!- Update : about a couple days later I decided to bring my 15 horse gamefisher out-board to Mike @ MNC, needless to say He completely fixed my problem and then some he Set me up to have a reliable, safe motor within 48 hours called me and was done @ a fair price ! Purchased a boat motor from a guy took it out and ran for 30 minutes if that ! Was really unhappy and pissed. I was told to call mike I really thought here we go now heres another person going to ripe me off!But totally wrong !! The guy is real deal honest and does a great job Ive took 2 of my friends motors sine hes definitely my boat mechanic now and friend!! Thanks mike
