I received the basic membership of $45 for free with their $45 gift card promo, their Plus membership is $100 a year for sparse perks. Okay if youre buying for a family of 6 or more, but for a family of 2 or 3, it just isnt worth it. A case of Campbells Tomato Soup? A case of Chicken Noodle Soup? 1200 box of Splenda? A gallon of olive oil? Seriously? Then they did not have quite a few items I normally purchase as they were Out of Stock, so I had to go to another store anyway. You have to get this stuff home and then store it somewhere until youre ready to use it. First time there and the line for the Customer Service Department was out the door, 20 people deep and the person who checks your cart was overwhelmed and there were 15-20. My honest opinion is, it just isnt worth it.

This is a smaller sized Sams based on an older layout (i.e. tires on your immediate right as you walk in). Unfortunately several items we are used to seeing were not in stock (oddly enough... no regular Members Mark Dixie-style paper plates and no regular Members Mark napkins). Other brands (Vanity Fair?) and styles (Thanksgiving, Christmas decorated) were available, but they were either inferior quality or a good deal more expensive (and I dont buy seasonal plates by the 100s).I am still giving this Sams 4 stars because the ladies bathroom was very clean and in great condition. And the rest of the store was very well kept (no stray carts in the lot and plenty at the entry, and the store was neatly stocked).I do wish Sams would rebuild these older stores so the layouts are identical to the newer stores. But the manager and other employees here are doing a commendable job!

Big store with lots of stock. Went for 3 specific things Ive gotten there before and none available.

Traffic backed up to get gas onto 200. Had to wait in traffic to get in. You are on your own for checkout. They don’t check your cart for duplicates but they will find if you missed a bag of chips. Lots of time to check your cart but no time to help check you out. Had to wait in line to check out, wait to get my Age approved and wait to get out the door. Won’t be back.

You know my husband has been a Sam’s Club member for years. Until now we really didn’t have anything bad to say. My husband is not a shopper he filled up our cart and went to the register. He had to renew his membership. He was downgrading from the hundred dollars to the $45 well after standing in line they’re telling him he has to go over to customer service and start all over. They had a manager come over. And he was still asked so he left his cart and said I’m not the sam member no more. That is not a way to treat a member that’s been a member for years. They could’ve took his membership right then and there instead of making him or asking him to go all the way over to the customer service line with a cart full of items. We will let other people know about this this is ridiculous he was very upset. And by the way we are senior citizens. And this happened Saturday, August 21, 2019 right about 5 o’clock in the afternoon

Hubby found inexpensive Vodka at the store right at the entrance to Sams. I headed in& isles were spaced nicely apart so customers can move in them!

Rude, unprofessional, and downright filthy is the easiest way to explain your store. Mold growing on the seals on the doors of the reach in refrigerator doors, literally take your pick. Floor is always sticky and gross and the help???? The question is WHERE IS THE HELP???? Seriously??? I cant wait for Costco to come to Ocala to run you out of business. Good luck

I wish Sams Club can open more stores in Ocala Florida especially in South East areas so we dont have to travel too far to shop Sams Club.Thank you.

I just love their customer service its just phenomenal. From the time that you enter at the door you have to show the Club card and the customer service area, are really professional and pleasant to help you. If you want to try them sometimes they are promotions on Groupon take advantage, you can save some money buying in bulk certain things specially if you have kids.

Really unhappy right now. I just walk to Sams. The person that check you card at the entrance, first word was. Are you a plus member? My answers was no. She follow to say. Then you cant shop till 10 am. Which will not be a problem if they advertise this online. Not at the door!!! After you had drive 30 or more minutes to get here. Even if you are not a plus member, you has to pay a membership.

Overall we love Sams for bulk buying and random cool stuff they have in the middle of the store. Employees are usually decent. Their cafe is GREAT for yummy yet inexpensive food (pizza, salted pretzels, hot dogs, frozen yogurt, etc). Worth the membership!

First time at the store. Gas pumps are placed right next to the entrance. Theres only one way into the gas pumps in one way out. Traffic backedout into the road and it took about 5 minutes just to get in the parking lot. Hopefully I can find a way to make my membership fee worth it.

Carts were plentiful, greeter friendly and offering masks, shelves well stocked, floors were being cleaned upon our arrival which shows me cleaning is always in progress, variety of items are always available, only one in each checkout line ( we were shopping at 11:00am ), receipt checker very friendly too

I love the inside and products. I just hate turning into the parking lot. There is always a long fuel line. The road you turn in from is so busy. SR 200 entrance is better on the west side of the circle K.

I havent been here too much, but its an excellent place for restaurants or even just regular people like me to shop at. I truly enjoy the prices this place gives you for what you get of each item. Not to mention buying in bulk helps keep items cheaper.

If I hadnt checked the receipt myself I would have missed a double charge of an almost $30.00 item. Then a agreement of I knew I did that so I removed one No you didnt! Then off to customer service to wait in line while our frozen chicken was thawing to get the charge refunded

Nice clean store with good products. Can buy frequently used household products in bulk. Their prices are good on most items. Tire center prices fall short compared to other tire centers. Fuel is cheaper than most gas stations majority of the time.

Ive never been here before today. They have great prices in bulk! Very friendly associates too! The only downfall is you have to buy a membership card in order to shop, but I found a hell of a deal online where if I buy a $45 membership I got a $45 giftcard so it all worked out great!

What can I say, its Sams Club, decent prices but buying in bulk is too much for one person. Staff is friendly. Too far away from me, but worth going every now and then.

My only problem with Sams club is that they are very difficult to reach by phone. I have been trying to reach the meat department for three days now. Ive called each hour on the hour and let it ring until it drops the call. Im interested in buying whole Ribeye and would like to know if its available before driving the 20 miles to the store only to find its not in stock. I realize they must be busy but, come on take a minute to answer the phone please.

I have always bought their frozen chicken breasts because each was individually shrunk wrapped and the percentage of unnecessary added water was less. No more. :( No more individual wraps and now shot up with the maximum 15% broth. Water must be expensive because the price is up too. Less and less worth the trip or ever-increasing membership.

This Sams is always zoo. Gas lines never organized and blocks the entrance into the parking lot. The store lines were LONG like your in an amusement park. The registers wernt working even though they asked all customers to use the scan and go app when they entered. The experience was a mess.

The store is relatively clean and organized. Staff is polite.

Be prepared for a fiasco when you go to this Sam’s Club gas station. Sam’s Club of Ocala continually has issues controlling the flow of traffic going to the pumps. Vehicles are coming in at two different areas which makes it a clustered mess.

Like shopping there,, although i tried to buy a medium long sleeve Harvey Guy shirt and there were none to be had. Lots of xxL or XL but not one medium or small for that matter. 😖

The employees usually always run and avoid you, thats if they they can speak English. And they quit selling the take and bake pizzas 👎 place has become a nightmare and not worth my renewal.

Sams club is the best! I live buying in bulk, it makes my trip to the store few and far between, and in todays time with Covid-19 and all it is a needed blessing. But Sams has the best quality in all of there products !!!! But my most appreciated item is the Members Mark brand paper towels. They are so strong you can use them for any cleaning job and they never tear up, talk about strong, the best quality ever !! So do a drive by and try them for yourself!!!

This is a clean, well lit and organized store. They also have several boxes available for use throughout the store as well as at the register. Im not a big fan of the self checkouts here but most people were so I didnt have to wait on a cashier like I usually would at a store like this.

This place in ocala is nice and big I loved it...only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is no deli to get fresh cut cold cuts it would be perfect if they also had that... definitely worth the trip there even without the deli.

Overcrowded and dirty inside the store. The organization at the gas station is a disaster traffic from the entrance out to 200 . This is ridiculous blocks the entire road .

Something needs to be done about the entrance/exit to Sams club from 38th st. Huge tie ups because of gas station. Very congested area with traffic going in many directions, no traffic signals, accidents waiting to happen.

It is impossible to reach someone at this store. Dont waste your time calling because nobody will answer! Such a disappointment i have been calling for days and each day I call i speeds more then an hour listening to it RING!!! and then you just get hung up on!

WoW, huge store, but it is only for people who want to buy in Bulk. I dont want to make my home into a storage facility. And most food items have an expiration date before I could use it up!

This place is always busy. I use the Sams club app to scan my items and check out. The gas are is great but gets really busy and its right off the road. Which gets congested very quickly. While people are trying to turn into Sams club to get gas and the other people trying to get to the main street.

Its quantity size purchases but very good prices. It was busy today but the self check out is quick, even quicker with the scan ad you go app.

Its always busy with large crowd of shoppers. Parking lot is like rush hour traffic. I can never find a gas pump available. Self check registers required attention from associates which caused long lines. Despite the crowds, there are several items at Sams Club that I cant find anywhere else, so I shop there occasionally.

As a dedicated Costco customer, I can see where Sams has mimicked a lot of Costcos business practices in recent years. Since Sams is local, will be shopping here more often. Free membership was an inspiring bonus.

Sams club needs more international variety.

Sams is the home company of Walmart where you buy more in bulk rather than single items. Its great for almost anything youre looking to buy. A bigger version of Walmart.

As a big box discount store, Sams Club fills the bill. Great beef! But they have reduced the number of live cashiers as ND the self check machines THERE give me a real PAIN.

It was a lo g day. You stated I needed a new business card. When we stood in line for over 1 hour and gave me a temp. Card and went back to pay in another line for over 15 to 20 mins and card didnt work. Custermer service said card was no good under my name . Didnt understand . I believe customer service didnt know what was going on. I left with nothing ir do not planning to come back.

My handicapped husband NEEDS a scooter.They are ALWAYS not charged fully OR they need new batteries.EVERY visit we get back to the grocery aisles in the back and his stops working.Then I have to find another and quickly finish before it runs out on him also.

This is a mediocre at best Sam’s club. Parking is super tight, place is always overcrowded,gas area has lines keeping people from even getting in the parking lot. Staff seem very light considering the volume.On the plus side it does have a liquors store :)
