This was my first time in this store. So it goes with a lot of stores in Ocala, not well stocked, you have a really hard time finding items or none at all. However, I will say the selection of produce and meats were much better than a lot of other stores in the area. Their prices are very reasonable on meats, breads and general items unlike the big chain stores. I was happy with the meats I purchased, good cuts, family packages were available and all reasonably priced. The only thing I wasnt prepared for was the check out process, its very much like Aldis where they place all your items in an empty carriage for you to bag yourself, which is fine with me. I thought Save A Lot was worth my time, Id go there again.

I dont know what happened but this day was horrible. Im always going to sav a lot. But today was horrible there was not one biggie available. And I had to push around a wheel chair with a little buggy basket on it in order to shop. It was almost walk out worthy. I purchased a few things because they said that people stole all their buggies. And that no food was being shipped . So I bought some veggies there that had to be thrown out right away. Its like they did a overnight spoil. I was so disappointed in this that I havent went back since that day. It was simply awful.

Lines can be a little long at times but its worth the money I save. The meat can be sketchy at times.I try to only buy meat that you can see through the packaging. They do sometimes have rolls of hamburger meat that has the clear packaging. Save a lot prices are very helpful with a family of 5!

I love Sav a Lot. The store is not crowded when I go there. They also carry some products that the other grocery stores do not. Never had a bad experience here.

They dont have enough employees to take care of all the customers at times. Sometimes the line at the register is long. But I like the store & the prices are good.

They have fresh produce and a fairly large selection. They always seem appreciative of their customers. Their store stays clean! For a 24 hour store, they show a large amount of concern for safety by having multiple people working at night throughout the store and a well lit parking lot!

The cashier today around 7:30 in the ocala fl location off E 40 had great rapport nd was helpful. Her and the manager of that shift was helpful .

Dirty, the one check out girl was more interested in talking with someone she knew than doing her job. Prices are pretty good on many things but the quality of the food and how it had been handled in the store was quite iffy

They open at 0900. Stopped by to purchase a couple beef bottom round roasts to make jerky. Might as well do the rest of my grocery shopping while I was there. Changed my mind when I discovered some food that was on the shelf expiring that day. They have good deals on meats though.

Went there for chuck roast at 9 am today, Sunday. Didnt have any, nor much beef in the cooler. They did have an abundance of beef found meat & pork roast. Very disappointing.

I love this store on Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala Florida my absolute favorite store not so much the one on 200It helps me keep my budget in check .a little goes a long way at Save A Lot

Have shopped there frequently good prices but I use mobilehandycapp cart recently but last time there were none.....broken! This is huge inconvenience so I cant go there any more. Management needs to get them repaired ASAP.

Some good staples are available and cheaper off brand options are decent. Location is usually clean and organized. Staff is friendly and available to help with questions. Plenty of parking at this location. I usually just shop for basics here since its conveniently located for me.

Store is clean, well managed and friendly. Great for staples, salad makings, bacon, lunch meats. Price of bread cant be beat. The chocolate cake from there is the best ever.

Nothing too seriously, savealot is the best place to save and i went and got my favorite snack.

Decent prices, especially on fresh fruit/veges. They carry some items that otherwise cant be found at locally. Only negative is there removed the fresh spices/peppers from the ethnic section.

Pizza is thawed out. Freezer not working correctly. Poor customer service. Waited for employee to come check me out. Then on top of all i told the lady i want bags. I would like everything to be in a bag. She says we dont put items in bags. So she continued to put items in cart without bagging them. So after she put everything in my cart unbagged i had to take it all out and bag it myself. What a sorry employee i dont understand?

Its clean. Good prices on generic foods. Similar to Aldi. It was busy but its the holidays. They had additional check outs so the wait wasnt that long. Good place to go.

This store is a nice and clean most of the time. It looks a lot better then it use to. The workers always ask if I need something or can they help me find anything. But I pretty know but once in a while I need there help. But over all a wonderful store.

Cheap prices, quality food. With limited selections, shopping here is usually faster than most stores for me. I like that they have some name brands, but their store brand is usually just as good.

I just needed an onion but didnt want to run across town to my favorite grocery store. I was very surprised at the selection of groceries and the cleanliness. I will make another trip when I have more time.

Well I brought 2 packs of wings, and when I got home before I even opened them to cook, you could smell the rot on them, took them back. I will not buy meat from there ever again.

Save-A-Lot has a limited selection, but if they have it, its usually a good price. Most of their fresh vegetables were half the price of Publix, as was their meat, but not everything is great. It is always worthwhile stopping there though.

The best next to dollar General to shop on lazy days

Cleaner than most Sav-A-Lot stores. Small amount of parking, but it always seems to be enough at least during the time I have been there. They have some good prices on meat and produce. These are the two main reasons Ill go to this store. Friendly workers, easy access to parking lot.

They have cleaned up this location and made some awesome improvements. I hadnt been in years, hut I will definitely be going back now that I see how great they are.

We shop there a lot. We do meals for the people in our community that need them. The prices here help us to make good quality meals at reasonable prices.

Save A Lot always feels dirty. Their produce is never very nice looking, and often has bruises or nicks, causing it to go bad faster. Their frozen veggie section has been empty for like two months now (the cooler is broken, I guess), and theyve been out of pepperoni for almost a month. The selection is rather basic, which is to be expected I suppose. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful. There are a couple that seem to have an attitude, though.

More food on shelfs.
