I rate them a five star for their service. I was looking for a particular tea and they had it in stock...I inquired about certain products and they were able to provide me with reasonable answers...after I paid the gentleman kindly carried my groceries into my car...now thats what I call great customer service 👌 I will return and shop here! I couldnt find Casreep (Casava) for my Pepper Pot that my grandmother use to make. Sagar Indian Grocery had it! And it was made in Guyana where my grandmother was from..I am so happy I found them. They also had Dikon radishes so I can now make Dr Ozs Braised Lemongrass Chicken soup how it should be. I always had to leave out the radish because I could never find that either. Yahoo, I am so happy. Its so nice to be able to find the right ingredients when you make something. Thank you Sagar Indian Grocery.🐈🐾

I have been coming here for years, when they were in the smaller store front in the strip. The owner is the sweetest kindest man. Always helpful and makes you feel welcomed. Highly recommend.

Great selection of spices and grains. Some items didnt have price on them and had to ask. Could benefit from bigger labels with prices on shelves. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable owner. Very happy with service.

The owners and staff are really nice people, do not hesitate if you have any confusion they help you select the right product. Also if you are looking out for some specific product they will try to arrange for it in case its not available with them. They have a decent variety of products for your daily needs.

Ive become very interested in preparing Indian cuisine and visited to load up on spices, food stock, and advice. I found all I needed and the owner was extremely helpful answering my questions and guiding me to the correct, and in some cases, less expensive product. I was impressed and will be back.

Great little store in Ocala, wish they were bigger and had more selection is all in rice spices and fresh vegetables. They are a wonderful Oasis though of politeness and a few ingredients that I occasionally need, instead of running clear back to the market in Gainesville.

Its always great to have an Indian shop close by. Owner is good and most of the products are fairly priced. Better price labels and directions for products would make shopping easier.

Even the customers are friendly and helpful. The owner rang me out and warned me that the huge amount of green chilies would be expensive. Since Im used to the prices of chilies at walmart I knew they would be. Turned out a pound was less than I expected. I thought that was very thoughtful of the owner to warn me as a new customer. Im returning there. They have everything the Indian recipes ask for on the internet. Im a hooked happy camper there. Plus the spices are at a good price and fresher than at a regular grocery store.

The new store is in the same plaza as the old store. This one is bigger. The same friendly excellent service here. I had been buying papadam online and paying $ 4.99 and sometimes more. At Sagars it is less than $2.00 !
