What an AMAZING experience. The doctor was very kind and understanding. She discovered that one of my fathers ears had wax buildup in it despite us having JUST visited another doctor to have them cleaned. She contacted the Ear/Nose and Throat office next door and within 15 minutes dads ear was clean and we were back in the hearing appointment. The experience was great and I would recommend them to anyone!!!

My second visit was amazing! Leigh Ann asked me to evaluate my first week with my hearing aids, and proceeded to open up some new features on them. She also assisted me in programming the app, which gives me more control in social situations. I can now adjust them to make them more directional in noisy environments. I can also hear phone calls on my hearing aids, thanks to the Bluetooth feature. Im looking forward to my next visit, and discovering more about these wonderful aids! Theyre truly state of the art, and the previous pairs Ive used dont begin to compare to how great these are!

Love this place. They took care of my dads hearing aids and gave him great options. They are so sweet here. My dad passed away and they took his hearing aids back as a donation to get repaired and provide to people in need. Highly recommended.

We went to Beneficial Hearing Aid center after my husbands hearing test. He needed hearing aids We sat with Allison after she reviewed the result that our ENT sent over to her. She was excellent at explaining things and going over everything we needed to know.

I was very pleased with my appt but more importantly I brought a lady with me who also had an appt ....Louella Nazaruk is 98 years old and they were fantastic with her....displaying concern and patience, but most of all respect by not treating her as if she was unable to understand (which is often the case). Dr Watts spent time with her to explain everything. She was not pushy but gave her options.I definitely will continue to use them as needed and Louella is very pleased.

Greatly appreciated the willingness of Dr. Watts to evaluate my hearing test and talk with me about hearing aids. She indicated that I didnt need them currently, but they will monitor future test results and let me know when hearing aids may be beneficial.

I leaning all about the hearing aids and all my questions were answered. I tried them for a week, but for me they were uncomfortable. I may need to try them for more than a week to see if the better hearing is worth the comfort or will I need to put up with hearing loss for a while longer

I cant say enough about Jose Mercado. He has a wonderful sense of humor which relaxes the patient. He was very thorough, was very honest in the diagnosis and what can/cannot be done. He explained everything in detail. He is extremely professional. Would recommend your practice to everyone.

This place is helpful for those who need...

Beneficial used to be great. They had great hearing products, great service, knowledgeable people and available appointments. They could also help in an emergency. Lately they appear to be understaffed, over worked. Forget appointments, cant reschedule anytime soon and much more difficult to work with. Ive had to go elsewhere twice when they could not see me. I was however pleasantly surprised recently when I was about to be put off yet again by the front desk and the newest member of the staff jumped in and fixed my problem. Thats the kind of service which used to be routine. Sure would be nice to get it back!

My husband got hearing aids from here 18 months ago. They have never worked and have been in the repair every other month or so. I asked Leigh Ann Watts to help us as far as working with us to get a different kind as these evidently do not work well for him. She said they can not and keeps sending in for repair. My husband and I are having alot of problems in our marriage as it it very frustrating for him not to hear me and for him not to be able to participate in conversations with family and friends. Please research others before going here. Wish I had.

05/11/16 My wife & I have worn hearing aids for over 20 years (various brands, models & used many hearing aid specialists. We first went to Beneficial Hearing on 09-02-2014, and dealt with Dr. Leigh Ann Watts (audiologist doctor). She has over 16 years experience with hearing problems and is up to date on the very latest aids available in the U.S.We bought Siemens hearing aids on 07-15-15 for me and 11-09-15 for my wife (they come with a 3-year warranty). Dr. Watts and all of her staff are very friendly, patient, professional and most of all, customer/patient oriented (not money grabbing & non-caring as many people are today in the medical field).We rate Dr. Watts & her entire staff a strong 5-star -- wish we could rate 10 but the form limits the ratings stars to 5. If you have a hearing problem of any kind, do your self a favor and go to Beneficial Hearing in Ocala, FL --- Richard Hagin 05/11/16
