Their cost for ear piercing was on the higher side. They dont give you a free bottle of cleaning solution, my mom said all her professional piercing friends do give them for free. They also use small piercing guns, as opposed to needles like a professional shop. Id recommend a professional since piercing guns arent as good as a needle.The process was quick, and not super painful, though.Ill add that while I am an adult, I look about 13-15 according to almost everyone I know, yet they did not ask for an ID. Id just recommend to be careful and make sure youre not paying more than $50 to have your ears pierced if you do go here.

I went today on vacation to get my 11th piercing, my septum. I leave tomorrow and figured why not! It went great, was one of the least painful piercings I’ve had. I got all the way back to my stepmom’s condo and made a sandwich, while eating that sandwich the ball fell off, the piercer didn’t screw it in tight enough. After 30+ minutes of searching the floor with a flashlight I called the shop to see about a new ball. Well they don’t have spare balls but offered to discount new jewelry if I bought it. I declined the offer because I just paid $80 for a piercing and it isn’t my fault it wasn’t screwed on tight enough and I didn’t want to spend any more money when it wasn’t even my fault. So if you get a piercing please tighten the ball yourself once you get back to where you’re staying.

I was very pleased with my experiences at this shop!!! We went there a few months ago and had my daughter’s ears pierced and it was such a great experience! They were so friendly and fast which is what you want when getting a ten year olds ears pierced! Excellent job! Then we returned this weekend and I got my ear pierced. Alina was so sweet and helpful! She did such a great job! I went back the next day and everyone working there was so accommodating and wonderful! If you are in Oc looking to get a piercing this is where you want to go!!!

In Ocean City on vacation and I came to MD Piercing to get my nose pierced. The fellas here are so friendly. I was so nervous, as this was my first piercing since getting my ears pierced since infancy. they were very funny to help relax me. They were also very knowledgeable and courteous. First off, I gotta say this was by far the most expensive piercing I have ever paid for! Went to one of their shops (there are multiple) paid $110...$110!!!!! For one piercing. This girl with an accent made absolutely no sense and I feel like charged me for everything possible. She then told me I had to walk down to the store where you can actually get pierced. I was brought in, room was clean, piercer was very nice and the process was quick although no aftercare instructions were given but I have many piercings so I know how to take care of them. So far it’s not super painful or anything and the piercing is nice, but I won’t be returning. Way to difficult of a process and way to expensive.

I found it very unprofessional that they pierced my minor son’s ear without parental consent. Honestly, it he would have asked I would have taken him. It just seems like bad practice for you to provide this service to kids under 18 without parental consent. Regardless of whether there’s an official law for your area, in your industry it’s good practice to NOT pierce minors without parental consent.

Ariel was amazing... Ive had other piercings (ears and belly button)and even tattoos, but never my nose ...so I was a little nervous. He was so calm, laid back and very nice with both myself and my mother. It hurt less than my ear cartilage! So impressed and pleased with my new nose ring. I would definitely recommend Ariel to everyone for piercings! Clean and tidy space too.

I paid 110$ for my septum, was only suppose to be 60$ but I got the numbing cream which they didn’t even use and no refund was allowed. The guy also wouldn’t let me leave insisting I get the other side of my nose done after saying no multiple multiple times. Not to mention He didn’t mark anything in my face he just went straight in with the needle not saying a word to me.

I had my septum pierced at the 901 Atlantic Ave location and I live in PA. I was on vacation. Its crooked. I called back to get a refund and told me the could not do so because of policy. They asked why I didnt come back to have it fixed. Uh hello, you cant fix it immediately. It needs to heal first and then re-pierced. I had several other piercing professionals confirm the it was pierced crooked to rule out swelling. And it hurt like hell and was placed too far forward. They should really reconsider their policy for those who dont live in the area. And honestly, I wouldnt go back to them to fix it if I did live in the area anyways. Do right by your customers!

Im here on vacation, so Im not going to go to a place that cant even tell me what it will cost. Normally when places do this, its so they can charge you whatever they want when you arrive, or so they can up the price at the last minute if they think you can afford it. Don’t ever go to this place, me and my girlfriend were here June 6 for our senior week she was getting her rook pierced the staff here had said to us 2 different prices first it was 90 dollars for 1 piercing!! Then the total came out to be 71 dollars so I paid 30 dollars in cash and my girlfriend was suppose to pay 40 dollars but when she checked her bank account 2 days after while we are on the way home she gets a 71 dollar withdrawal out of her account so where did my 30 dollars go. Basically don’t go here there corrupt staff knew that we were senior week kids and thought they could get away with stealing.

I paid $60 for my Septum piercing and it was money that went down the drain. When I got my piercing it was very painful, when in majority cases of septum piercings it’s not to much pain. I also bled for almost 2mins straight with pressure applied smh. The next morning I woke up with extreme pain in the area, so I went to Red Octopus. Once I showed the artist my piercing their face frowned and asked “Did that hurt badly cause it looks like it did?”....I was informed that my septum was pierced in the wrong area of my nose; it was pierced at the bottom of my nose at an angle and not at the top in the sweet spot smh. I ended up taking the piercing out and now I’m waiting for it to heal so I can get it done “CORRECTLY”. I wouldn’t suggest this place for exotic piercing at ALL!!!June 12, 2020 is when I got it pierced incorrectly. June 13, 2020 is when I was advised to take it out and have it re-done.

Got a rook piercing a few days ago. Was fine at first, but then became completely swollen and red, even though I followed everything for correct aftercare and cleaning. Also had cheap jewelry used, which I’m allergic to. Got it taken out and found out that it was pierced crookedly and was sitting on my daith. The staff was very nice, just wouldn’t recommend for that type of piercing.

They charge for everything even the needle so why charge $60 for piercings $30 for the earring and the needle and the nome crean is not included on the $60 piercing price... at the end you pay $130 per person....

Could not find the right location where I was charged but I think they are the same company as the name of the store is the same. I was charged more than what I was told at the beginning. The girl working there with an accent is a scammer. She didn’t even speak well and she kept on saying stuff and took my card and charged me. I didn’t even sign and my card was charged 4x more than what she said. Very rude customer service and I had to go to the other location to get pierced. Beware of that girl.

We got our 3 year old daughter’s ears pierced at OC Piercing and they went above and beyond to make it a great experience. She got a little nervous but they eased her through, she cried for about 5 seconds, saw herself and couldn’t be happier. We are thrilled with the experience!

They might be okay for piercings but if you decide to get a henna, be cautious. Ask for examples of the artists work first. My daughter and I got our hands done and they looked nothing like the picture. They were awful to say the least. To top it off, they were way overpriced. Highly disappointed in my first henna.

Think twice before going here!!! I got my nipples pierced here on my senior week trip and when I got home I noticed the jewelry was sinking in. There was never any extra room on the bar and it got worse as I started to swell. I went to a tattoo shop to have them checked and they told me the piercings were done incorrectly and too deep and I had to have them removed not to mention the quality of jewelry was super cheap for the price I paid.

Do not get anything pierced here!! I got my septum done and it was pierced the wrong way, and in the wrong spot. It got infected super fast and hurt extremely bad and kept bleeding nonstop. The balls kept falling off because the dude didn’t even bother putting it on right BOTH times. They won’t give you a refund no matter how bad they mess it up... I doubt the person who did my piercing is even experienced, extremely unprofessional.

I had an awful experience at NY piercing. I went in to get a nose piercing and the guy did it twice without being able to get the jewelry in. It was painful and bloody. After all that I went somewhere else and it was awesome. Do NOT reccomend!!!

Dirty and disorganized. Not licensed to do piercing. I had to get a refund because they had no idea what they were doing. I paid for a piercing then was sent on a wild goose chase down the boardwalk amongst their five other stores (shoreside piercing, OC piercing, NY piercing,etc) to find where the piercing guy was. I had wasted over an hour waiting to find the manager to get my refund because they told him we were waiting to still get our piercing. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable by their rude attitudes and dirty store. They are just trying to get your money when they tell you anything different.

First time reviewer. I had such a awful experience I decided this was necessary. I got a couple dermals done here they were slightly out of alignment when you really looked at them, I could have excused that but later that night they both popped out when I gently pulled the bandaid off to clean my piercing. ALSO! They charged me a health department fee ... What a bunch of scam artists! After researching I found this is not normal! After speaking with a more professional shop I found the gauge of the punch used was very large and they showed me how small of a gauge they used for the dermal piercing and it was a insane difference. I was informed by the piercer at NY piercing that I should leave a bandaid on for a week or so, the only way to clean it was to remove the bandaid though! And I was VERY gentle. TOTALLY unacceptable. After going through so much I didnt even want to give this shop the opportunity to fix what had been so badly botched.

My piercing got very infected because the bar they put in my belly button was too small. And it was crooked. I had to go to a better place to have it looked at and I ended up having to take it out to heal. The workers were very unprofessional, hitting on my friend and I asking us to party with them. I wouldnt go back or refer anyone to go here.
