The guys at Autonique absolutely deserve 5+ stars. In my experience they went out of their way - taking the car to my mechanic and the BMW dealership for a few service issues - to assure me that the car I was interested in was sound. And the experience was utterly pressure free. Their follow up was also impeccable. They called to see how I was enjoying the car, and I shared with them that some weather stripping was loosening. They suggested I come by - and they were able to help me fix the problem. Friendly, generous and very customer service oriented! I wholeheartedly and highly recommend buying a pre-owned car with them.

One year later and my car is a lemon. The drive shaft broke within months of driving it (I never took it off-roading although they claimed I did). They made me write an initial five star review in exchange for them to fix it.Now I’m here, back at the service center with rusted parts, loose ball joints, and a broken back panel…and I’m still at 105k miles (I bought it right around 100k miles). This is insane. I don’t know why there’s other good reviews but BEWARE this is NOT A CERTIFIED DEALERSHIP. That means warranties won’t work if you buy a lemon like I did.

I had a wonderful experience with this dealership. After an accident that totaled my car (which was a 2010 Acura MDX) I began looking for something similar. After searching online, I came across a 2013 Acura MDX that appeared on sale from the Autonique website. I sent a request and received a call immediately by Johnny and later received a call from Mauricio. I contacted my credit union for a Auto loan they contacted Pablo and everything went smoothly from there. To make a long story short, Pablo spoke with my credit union and they both worked out a great deal and that following Saturday my husband and I drove to Oceanside from Long Beach (an hour and 45 min drive) to sign the papers as the new owner of my 2013 Acura MDX. This SUV had only one owner and 82000 miles. Its very clean and look brand new (from the inside and out). This is a 8 year old car and it look and drives great!!!! We went online searching for a first car for my daughter and thru Autotrader we saw a great looking car and brought us to Pablo and Greg at Autonique in Oceanside. The experience was like I have never experienced. They answered questions and left us alone to look at the car. We test drove, and inspected without any pressure. We had to go in and start talking about buying the car. It was all on on our time. We walked out with a great deal, a clean and maintained great car and an extended warranty program all at a great price. Total time 2 hours and never any pressure only wanting us to be happy.. I have never had that great of an experience. Car buying should always like this. Keep an eye on their inventory and if you see something you like, I recommend you go see Pablo. Honest and Military friendly.

DONT BUY A CAR HERE. I have spent around $4,000 on repairs so far. I have had the car since May 2020. They make them look nice and say they check them out, but the mechanic said these are obvious problems that would have been seen easily. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Honestly, I feel defeated after buying a car from this dealership. I was excited to support a veteran owned shop when purchasing my car, however, they were not honest about the issues the car had. I bought the car in August 2020 and about a month after I purchased my radiator broke. I went to a mechanic and they said my radiator and all the tubes were rusty and there was no way any mechanic could have missed it. I paid nearly $1000 to have it fixed and have called the shop multiple times to try to address the issue, and every time I call they say the person I would have to talk to is out of shop. Now, 3 month after I bought the car, the power steering fluid is leaking and I got an estimate of nearly $19000 to fix it. I bought the car at the absolute max of my budget, which I informed the shop of, and now I am having to go into debt in order to keep it running with no reply or help from the shop. The car has now become about 150% of its cost due to repairs.

As soon as my wife and I walked in, Steven was there to answer are questions about a truck we were interested in. After telling him the price was out of our budget he asked us all about what we were looking for and what our budget was and within seconds found multiple vehicles to fit our needs. They were very honest and fair on our trade. They heavily support our armed forces and unlike some other shops like rockstar they actually don’t try to screw them over.

After multiple very poor experiences with user car dealerships, I had about convinced myself that I would never again go to one again. But when I saw the beauty of a BMW 745Li they had, I had to go and at least look at it. Since I live about an hour away, I called first to see if the car was still available and what condition it was in. From that first conversation with Autonique (Rick), I was stunned by how honest and genuine they were! During that conversation, Rick told me exactly what the condition of the car was without me having to pry for info. When I got to the lot later that night, the car was actually in WAY better condition than I thought (plus they had thrown on some brand new killer rims, which I didnt know they would do). Throughout my whole interaction with Rick, Charles, and Lorean that night, I felt completely comfortable and at ease. Used car dealerships had left a very bad taste in my mouth, but Autonique made the whole experience exciting, like it should be. In addition, my credit union went though multiple mishaps when it came to issuing the check for the car. Yet still 1) I drove off with the car that night no funds transferred and 2) had the car at my house for over 2 weeks no funds transferred. And when there was an unforeseen mechanical issue a few days after I drove it off the lot, Autonique took it back and repaired it with no hassle and with still no funds transferred. In short, my experience with Autonique was a great way to end 2014. Very easy-going, trustworthy, and professional people who go out of their way to put the the mind of the customer at ease. I will definitely be recommending to friends. And if I can make room in my garage, Ill be purchasing another car in the future.

First off, Autonique showed me a car that was in my budget range, yet the speaker was blown out and the sales man said dont worry about it they will replace it and the ac did not work but again they said dont worry just bring it to us and we will fix it for you. They lied and I am now paying out of pocket for items they said they would replace. Not only did they do that but they promised me a 12 month warranty and said if I had any problems with the car to bring it to them and they would get it fixed. Low and behold my engine starts idling 2 months into having the car and I take it in and they say oh we have no warranty for you. Yes I didnt get in writing they out smarter me but I am upset that they would do this to a new car buyer, so if your looking for a car go somewhere else they have the WORST service and just want to take your money.

We were in midst of signing the bill of sale for the agreed price and getting all the wire transfer instructions.......when they SOLD it out from under me. Ive been entertaining the idea of buying a new car for some time (Jaguar Xks) California seems to be bloated in car prices (like everything else) As a result I was looking at out of state cars. Last week, Autonique posted a listing for a 2011 Jaguar XK. As of today I can say I am the owner :)I was very, very hesitant to buy from a Used Car dealer (weve all heard the horror stories).That being said: They were Awesome!! Charles White (salesman) and the rest of the staff. They were very upfront about the car. Why it was so aggressively priced, history of the car. The flaws (scratch on the passenger door, mark on the drivers seat).They werent trying to hide anything. Very, very professional and made the car buying process as painless as possible. Looking at comps: I got a GREAT deal. I would definitely do business with them again in the future. If you are as skeptical as I am, do yourself a favor go down and talk to them. Very non pressuring, non sleazy.They are even helping me with a few things I want to fix the already great car :)

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP- they are complete LIARS- Sam Mugbeh, Ashlee Douglas, and Michelle Standgren do not know the meaning of honesty and integrity. They will over charge you and lie about the services. They claim that they are a nice family owned business - maybe family owned but definitely not nice. They do not do the right things - i had to threaten them with a lawsuit before i could get ANY action and even then when they finally refunded my money they still did not follow through with the cancellation as a month later i was getting letters talking about non-payment. I have already filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General in California and i hope you heed this warning and stay away from this dealership at all costs- they are a total scam.
